  1. Wooo hoo! I got my internet back up again! :XD: (damn stupid dorm connections...) Well anyway back on topic. Stop being so cynical... :( If you're interested, just draw a picture and go on with your merry lives. And btw, when you first register, there is an option included that allows you to write about yourself. When this piece is finish, it will be unvieled in July(?) 2007. There is an award to be won when judges determine which description has the most meaning. Free trip to the UK to see the unveiling! Im not sure how many people will win tickets though. :wall: But im prety sure its more than one.
  2. :: The One Million Masterpiece :: Click here : This probably would be much better off in here than in the Gallery. I think so anyway. :-k Anyways this is what this is about. :D The current picture (you can zoom in btw) So far there have been 3405+ contributors and ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã4778.67+ raised. I dont have a credit card, but I would have donated. Theres plenty of space, so I thought it might interest you guys. : PS, get a screeny of your piece.
  3. The patterns are simple, but not really bad either. Its probably the text you used. :-k You should change it cause it really is a bit hard to understand. A simple border would probably be good too. But yeah, I like it.

Some ideas: 1.) Look at TV commercials -Remember those "This is you brain... This is your brain on drugs." commercials? You can try that, but instead "This is you... This is what will happen if you drop out." And have yourself playing like a hobo or a prostitute or a druggy, whatever... (No offence intended) 2.) Look at *cough* old Sex Ed tapes and copy the style. -By that, I mean kinda like this: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php Its not a Sex Ed tape, but you get the point right? Same style etc. 3.) Ask your friends to role play the scenes with you. -What are friends for if not for cheap/free labour? 4.) Humor goes a LONG way. -Try to make it funny and entertaining. (Despite the fact that the topic you choose is about bad life choices...) 5.) If all else fails, Go Nuts...
  5. I tried it just now and I see your point. Ive never really used that tool much before, but I can see where I can use this now. Thanks for the advice! :
  6. That's not true. Name other 4+ player FPS games for console that are decent, fun and moderately easy to pick-up. Goldeneye/Perfect Dark, Timesplitters 2/3 and a few more I can't think of right now. Halo is boring since it takes itself too seriously, just a bunch of rednecks shooting spacebugs when you think about it. The only thing I like about Halo is the ghost \ Starcraft was a bunch of rednecks shooting aliensand space bugs but it turned out fun. :

Started to think about on my 11th year as I had to pick what highschool courses I need to take to enter my prefered program. Im a freshman atm, and I haven't seen any heavy work yet. But my professors are starting to talk about essays... Im getting nervous.
  8. I bought an xbox just to play Halo 1 and 2 just as a friend of mine bought a PS 2 just to play Final Fantasy games... Overated or not, titles like these do sell consoles. :-k Now back on topic, this game just persuaded me to buy a 360 instead of a PS3.
  9. Yep it was! : I have the other sketch about Rikku from FF-X2. If I get better at this, I might finish that one as well. The firebat, yeah, I couldn't get a good reference pic so I just "guessed". #-o
  10. Reading comics/novels [bleep]es up my imagination from time to time. I get a good laugh every so often too. :
  11. I sure hope you dont save it in ".jpg" :-k
  12. The best GIMP sigs I have ever seen.
  13. I think we might have missed an important factor here... Was yur character female by chance? :| Cause... *cough* Yeah...
  14. Yeah probably, but giving them fame was the least I could do in return either way. :-k Oh and I agree about RO. Ive been only hearing good things about their payer community.
  15. I played Maple Story for a good 1 month. (pretty short eh?) The first thing that struck me is that during my first week when I was around lvl 10-15 (pretty low) a lot and I mean ALOT of people gave me free stuff. Idk if they want to do it just so i can give them a raise on their 'fame level' (which I did give them) or if they're just kind like that. Either way, most of the people I met while playing were pretty kind to newbies on countless occasions. :-k They completely caught me off guard with their charity. I think its that we who plays/played RS comes to expect bad things from people on games like these.
  16. Hehehe, made me think of Bridget Jones's Diary. Her "wobbly bits" I tried to use the line too as much as I can, but I dont think theres a curve line tool in flash so I had to resort to drawing curves by mouse... It was soo annoying... :wall:
  17. I made a sketch based on a screenshot I saw about Starcraft Ghost. I made that sketch like 2 years ago I think. Until recently, I thought I lost that sketch, but I found out that I had scanned it into my computer sometime in the past. Im experimenting with inking atm, so I figured this would be a good lesson for me. I think I got most of the lines right. Its a bit wobbly at places, but im genereally happy with the inking considering I only have a mouse. (It was pretty annoying, and this particular piece made me consider buying a graphic tablet...) Obviously, I still need to shade and stuff, but I found it too annoying to continue... Im probably just too lazy to continue. :wall: Anyway... here it is. Kinda sucks that Blizzard put a hold on this project... It looked soo promising. :( EDIT: I used Macromedia Flash to ink it btw. O:)
  18. Thanks for the comments, and uh, lack there of? Idk maybe he thought the same as cad? In anycase, thanks anyway. : I try to follow tips as much as I can everytime I start a new one.
  19. Im not a fan of blood and gore sigs, so I haven't had much practice on doing bloody images. But my friend insisted on having 2 characters with "torn clothes and in full rune with black trims". Plus I had to rush to finish this cause the other 9 people im doing sigs for are poking hard at me to finish this as quickly as possible. Eh, well its live and learn. O:) Though, I might have to take you on that offer someday.
  20. Oh, thats the original size that you drew it on? I thought you shrunk the picture when you scanned it!
  21. Few points: 1.) Made for a friend who requested it for free. 2.) I followed his instructions. 3.) This is not my best work. I started it in August, but I finished it now because I had to constanly stop working because I moved to University. 4.) This is pretty much done, so I doubt I'll be making any changes. 5.) Im making 9 other sigs atm. Im very busy. Please ignore the "NFS" and wutnot... I still hear of ripping so I thought I should be careful. :-k
  22. Well if ur gonna drop it, could we at least see a full sized version of the sketch? This one is too small to see. :-k
  23. Poachers in The far north of North America sometimes do hunt grizzly bears for various parts too to be sold as 'medicnal ingredients' and 'cure's for various ailments in eastern asia. Discovery channel says so anyway... :-k
  24. Well ur avy sure looks adorable. :
