Im back! Just came home from school where I picked up my yearbook and said goodbye (probably for the last time) to friends and teachers. And based on the replies here, I believe theres still hope for mankind! :wink: This reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend. The general feeling over the internet is that there is hardly ever emotions to conversations. What I mean is, you have to guess their real life body movement, tone and expressions. And you only have your imagination to help you. Personally, I've tried being sarcastic in here a couple of times, and sometimes the people on the receiving end of my reply, thought I was flaming them... Then again, sometimes im really being mean, but people still dont get my point... Now that really made me laugh! :lol:

Why are people nicer over the internet compared to real life? :| Might be a stupid question... But we take it for granted and (probably) never really ask ourselves why. :-k Why do people give me "huggles" or slap me playfully with "fish"? Why do people say "lol" a lot, yet are probably not even smiling irl? Why are people able to talk to, and trust, complete strangers online without care or thought? :-s And *cough* why do girls talk to me and not *cough* irl? :anxious: Is it because we can't see each other, speak with each other... Even smell each other? Is it because we all speak a common language? Is it because rules say that we must be nice to each other? Or maybe its because our ideas and opinions are the only things that matters over the internet? Why in god's name are people different online? Thats what I'd like to know from your view. :-$ Oh and FYI, its 4:55 AM in the morning and this post is the result me having one of those enlightening "moments" which, under normal circumstances, I probably would have regretted ever coming up with... :wall:
