  1. Have you tried lowering your screen resolution...? Or you could download VLC media player, it's a great free program.
  2. It worked on the admin account but I couldn't figure out the password, I'll try that default one. I got this computer from him in September '07, and he used it for business purposes before that, so no doubt it's on there for me. It is possible he forgot about it, but I guess I'll know once I get the password won't I? ;)
  3. It's not working, is that just a random guess? I'll try doing it on my dads account and the administrator (since this is his old laptop he has an account).
  4. Cool thanks, I actually have Norton (my dad won a free copy at work  ) so I guess I'll get rid of that and get NOD32. I also have Spybot, and I'll get Zone Alarm. Is it necessary to have AdAware along with Spybot?
  5. This thread was about what were the best antivirus programs and such, but now that I figured that out (thanks sbrideau!) I have a new question. When I installed ZoneAlarm, and restarted my computer did all the procedures. A window popped up from it that said something along the lines of: Naturally I denied, looked up the program and realized how funny of a situation this was. The amazon description said it could only be accessed by a key sequence, except I know there's no possible way that's the only way. Could someone help me access this program? I know it's password protected, but I'll be able to crack the password, my dad is really unoriginal when it comes to that kind of thing. EDIT: This could explain why I have such little hard drive space all the time and can't figure out what's taking it up. The reviews on amazon say it takes a lot of screenshots and they take a lot of space up.
  6. Ya it's H.E.D.Z I didn't think anyone else played it... It was one of my favorite games :P
  7. Yay I thought of more stuff! - 250GB External HD Dammit, I thought of like 5 things before but I can't remember them.
  8. Well usually shooters don't do so well when there's no violence.
  9. I have ~150 DLC songs now, so I'll recommend the best ones in my opinion. - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? (Album) Get this only if your a top tier guitarist/drummer. Otherwise these songs will be too hard and/or not enjoyable for you. Also make sure you have lots of stamina no matter what instrument you play. - Moving Pictures (Album) This is my favorite album, much better on drums then guitar, although you can't beat YYZ guitar. - Best of The Who Collection Only get this if you enjoyed Won't Get Fooled Again and are a good drummer. A lot of the patterns are similar to WGFA, and the guitar is boring on most songs. - Nine Inch Nails (Packs 1/2) I love playing these as a drummer, but are repetitive on guitar. For drums this falls into the category of "most complex" (I'm looking at you, The Perfect Drug!) - Roadrunner Pack Constant Motion, Sleepwalker, Aesthetics of Hate, and Clouds of California. Four of my favorite songs that I still play a lot on every instrument (even vocals, except CoC). Challenging yet fun on everything. - Yngwie Malmsteen Duh. These are my favorite DLC songs, I'm positive there are more that I really like, I just can't think of them at the moment because all I've played recently is Malmsteen and Megadeth
  10. I haven't thought about this at all, so I'll list some things that I might want. - Gears of War 2 I've been sitting here for 10 minutes and I can't think of anything else...
  11. Yeah, you were whammying to hard and you snapped the tab on the bottom of the whammy holder. Happened to my SG and Stratocaster. The solution is to have the end of the whammy bar pointing away from the guitar and pull the whammy bar up on long notes I whammy like that for fun sometimes  To open your guitar you need a T9 screwdriver, and if something broke, you should go to guitarheroparts and buy either a spring, or a whammy repair kit. I'm not sure exactly what the repair kit gives you but I know GHP is a trustworthy site.
  12. I'm Jewish and I say Merry Christmas to people sometimes... :? I also say Happy Hanukkah
  13. HOLY [cabbage]. The one [bleep]ing year I didn't watch it.
  14. Yngwie Malmsteen is the best guitarist ever! This pack is my favorite pack for guitar ever. No doubt. This is like freaking Dragonforce pack for Rock Band. Caprici di Diablo is my favorite song in the game, it's so freaking fun! I've figured out pretty much the whole song except for the part that's similar to a slowed down Afterlife Solo D, I can hit it like 1/4 times. It's just so fun! I want more of his stuff. Red Devil is awesome too, and I forget the other song name but it's also really fun. If you have Rock Band and you're good at guitar, get this pack. I've been buying so many points lately, so now the only DLC I'm buying for the rest of the year is Texas Flood and those two Soundgarden songs I forgot to download today. (I have like ~140 DLC songs, a little over a month ago I had ~70...)
  15. You can fix it... Explain exactly whats wrong then open it up and take a picture and I'll help you. Broken whammy bars can always be fixed unless you smashed the main component inside of the guitar with a hammer or something
  16. So I got GH3 for 360, and also bought a used 360 Les Paul. It's so much better then my SG, though not as cool. I think there is something about 360 that just makes me better, my first run on TTFAF on it I got 380k (my Wii highscore was 375K), then my second run I got 411k! Four stars ftw! Also now I can consistently tap the intro, even if my method is weird. I tap the red with my left hand (I play lefty) and use my right hand for everything else while anchoring green with the right hand. It stretches my right hand weird but doesn't hurt and it looks really cool :D Also, tomorrow humor4fun is releasing his Wii customs tool that makes it incredibly easy to make Wii custom discs (called TheGHOST, look it up on Scorehero) and I have 50+ custom songs ready to add, I can't wait.
  17. It looks like your game might be screwed. Try blowing onto the cartridge. If you can't figure it out, I'd recommend you get a flashcart (like an R4) because then you can get great games off the internet (homebrew and ummmm... others). Also you can back up all your save files onto your computer from it.
  18. Her mom killed herself three days ago and she already has a step mom?
  19. 12? Mabye like, 6. And thats a very strange 6 year old. Yup, and every middle school girl in the world made him the #1 subscribed YouTuber. He's so annoying, not funny at all, and pisses me off whenever my 12 year old sister has one of his stupid videos playing. He also speaks in third person, which pisses me off when anyone does that. "FRED FORGOT HIS ADD MEDICINE! LETS RUN AROUND ON CAMERA SCREAMING THEN MAKE MY VOICE REALLY HIGH PITCHED!! YAAAAAYY!!!"
  20. One of the numerous NCAAF games?
  21. As long as they don't fight over their chips or hot pockets a lot, it's fine.
  22. I thought this wasn't fully available yet?
