How are the open notes on Bass? Are they hard to get used to?

Wait until you play it. On scorehero the Hardware section is filled with posts about how the touchpad is faulty and the drums suck. In Misc GH Discussion, its filled with glitches and rants about the bad interface. I'm going to hold off on buying it for now.

Well everything outside Solo B is easily passable, and I knew it was coming so I just saved my star power. But ya, it's because of how large the timing window is for [garden tool]/POs that it's so much easier. When I was playing Institutionalized, there was a glitch in the chart where it gave me GY chords, but the Y was a hammer on, and the green wasn't. I couldn't figure out how to hit them :lol:

Here are the pics of my guitar, and more! [hide=]The red button to the left of the strum bar is Back (for star power), the black buttons below the Back are Start and Guide. The little ones, the black ones are left/right (for Rock Band practice speeds), and the red one is a killswitch. The normal Start/Select buttons are just there for looks, they don't even press down. [/hide] [hide=]I colored the frets with black sharpie, but it started to rub off so I taped them for easier sliding and no more sharpie rubbing off. It looks pretty cool now because its kind of faded. [/hide] [hide=]From left to right the things on the side are: Pedal jack for Star Power pedal (I can just plug in my Rock Band drums pedal), strap peg, wire, headphone jack. [/hide] Now I finally figured out how to play... *special* games on my Wii. Ugh, I don't even know if I even want World Tour now. The guitar is easy, co-op sucks, the only thing thing left is singing and drums. And singing is my least favorite thing to do, so the drumming better be good.

Yes! My SGplorer is complete! *pics coming when i find my camera cable* I'm going to try my luck at getting World Tour (Game-Only) tomorrow without a pre-order. Wish me luck, I know the full band bundles are sold out at my local GameStop.

Yes, you can buy the stand-alone drum set at GameStop or Amazon. (Probably all other gaming places too)

It doesn't look that hard, open notes are just confusing at first, but even after watching it just once it doesn't seem that tricky at all, just think of it as an extra fret. It's the same as learning the bass pedal for drums, except since I've never played WT I wouldn't know and it's probably insanely hard \

Yes, indeed. I can't wait for World Tour, I have to settle with just the Game for now because I'm running low on cash and still have to be able to afford the RB2 tournament, Saw 5 with my friends next week, and either Legendary or Gears of War 2. I'll end up getting the guitar for Hanukkah, so hopefully my SGplorer is ready by Sunday! I'm also still grounded, so I hope that my parents will give back everything by Sunday. I haven't played Guitar Hero or Rock Band in like 2 weeks... (besides 2 songs at my friends house, and one Easy song with the Wiimote, lol)

So I'm seeing this on Halloween with some friends, I completely forget what happens in the fourth movie, so I have to re-watch it now.

Haha how did you remember that? Yes I'm pretty sure its me your thinking about. It started working the day after I posted this, and hasn't gone down since. I didn't do anything to it, just went a second time to make sure everything was plugged in.

Theres plenty of ways. Leaks... imports... Sears... I think he might be from Europe, where it's already out. But I'm probably wrong. EDIT: Yup, he is from Europe. I'm going to get the Guitar Bundle for World Tour since the guitar is amazing and my RB1 drums are good enough. I'm having little success with my Wii GH3 Customs at the moment, because I've only gotten one copy working properly and it lags during the songs. EDIT2: I'm installing GH3PC at the moment for customs, and I don't know if I've told you guys this yet but I just finished making my SGplorer. I took a PS2 SG that I got for $20, bought a used Xplorer for $25, and swapped the guts so now I have a working SG guitar for the 360. I have 6 buttons on my workbench ready to solder on for Start, Select, X-Box Guide, Left/Right D-Pad (for practice mode speed in RB), and a Killswitch (button to strum). I have to do that since I couldn't align the Xplorer circuit board with the SG's normal buttons. I also have a headphone jack to solder onto the Select button so I can have a Star Power Pedal. I can't wait to bring it into the Rock Band 2 tournament on November 1st and show off :D I'll post pics when its done. EDIT3: (Lol third edit in like 5 minutes), has anyone seen this new Logitech guitar? It looks like the biggest waste of money ever, I have no idea who is going to buy it.

why would you hope its bad? i hope its good so its worthwhile to see... Ya, why would you want a movie to be bad, I would want any movie to be good so I don't waste $9! I doubt this one will be good, the fourth one wasn't great, but still better then the third one. I really want this movie to be good, but I have a feeling it's going to suck.

Rock Band 1 = 58 Songs Rock Band 2 = 84 Songs Current DLC = Around 300 That adds up to 442 as of now. They still have four albums to be released this year. The Colour And The Shape = 12 songs Texas Flood = 10 songs Best Of, No Doubt = About 12 songs Nothing's Shocking = 10 songs That's 486. 20 Free DLC = 20... songs... (lol) Rock Band: AC/DC = 18 songs That's 524. Not including the weekly DLC that gives us 3-6 songs a week (the albums are included as "week" DLC)

So I have a network drive with all my music on it, and I can't access it. I was able to access it a week ago and then it just stopped working. All the connections are fine, but when I go to "Map Network Drive" (this is on Vista) and type "\\nas\media" it says: Windows cannot access \\nas\media Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose. When I click Diagnose it says: Windows sent the request to the DNS server and the server responded that the name was unknown. I don't know much about this kind of thing, so can someone help me?
