Live Concerts
Got me some tickets for Werchter 2012 a week or two back. Last year I went one day and saw Linkin Park and QOTSA among others, this year I'll be going all four days with a bunch of friends. It's so exciting waiting for names to get announced.

I listened to Eminem as a child too. I'll let you guys make the call. Though seriously, censorship sucks. I seem to have so little time and so much things I want to do. I can't wait till it's summer again and I can spend all day doing whatever I feel like. Also, I usually turn on the radio in the morning while I'm dressing up for school. The annoying bit is that I usually leave for school at 8, and I'm usually dressing up from 7:55 to 8, so almost the whole time I'm listening to the pre-news ads. No music, no news, just dumb ads. That annoys me.

What were you doing in Amsterdam :o? It's known for a very specific industry. School trip. And the tour of the city we made included that specific industry you're talking about. Just to draw a nice contrast: the reason we went through the Red Light District was to go see a church. The church is literally a few steps away from the windows where ladies of the night offer themselves to men. Only in Amsterdam  Yesterday night was a great party, had been ages since I let myself go like that. At around 4:30 or something the DJ's stopped, and we (around 10 people who stayed) just sat around on couches listening to the radio and talking till the morning. I ended up taking a short nap. The atmosphere was great. Then I went home with this song on my iPod and just spent all day listening to music and browsing the web, all in all a chill day. No school tomorrow, teacher's strike.

Rob's favorite albums by genre
I was listening to Fighting With Tools as I read this. Couldn't agree more, though I prefer Handlebars (if you haven't seen for it yet, be sure to check it out, it really adds to the experience). Nice list.

Today...
The last few days were spent mostly drumming on my new kit; needless to say, I'm very happy with it :) Wednesday's my birthday, which will be celebrated very thoroughly that day. The next day, we get up early and leave for two days in Amsterdam with school which should be a lot of fun. In other words, this is gonna be a great week.

Number pads. More specifically, the fact some pads have 1 2 3 at the top and others have it at the bottom. If number pad manufacturers can't even agree whether 1 2 3 should be the bottom or the top row, then how are we ever supposed to reach world peace?

Pff, just spent three hours setting up that electric drum kit just to find out I don't have the proper headphones for it. Talk about frustrating. Personally, the SOPA protests make me feel good, just a little bit. It's like the internet's all united against a common foe. A day where both Wikipedia and 4chan are trying to reach the same goal is a strange day indeed.

Been having a good week. I'm covering Creep with a few others for the school play, I'm playing rhythm guitar to my friend's lead. Just so happens that guy is the reason I actually started playing two years ago. Also, it sounds pretty good, so I'm optimistic, though the rest of the play is pretty damn weird.

My laptop has these buttons on the F1-12 buttons, for example to start playing music, change the volume, stuff like that. Really useful stuff, but what annoys me about it is that I have to hold Fn to be able to use the F keys.

Good thing my hair curls upwards and thus stays out of my eyes. Wait no, that's not a good thing, my hair sucks.

Most Embarrasing moment
Usually, I'm the sober one when others get completely wasted. I remember one of the first times we went drinking, we were gonna sleep in a tent. There were three of us, and one of us had drunk too much (he happens to be one of those guys that gets wasted pretty fast but still drinks along with everyone else.) We ended up waiting on him to throw up for like an hour in the cold so that wouldn't happen in the tent, then waited some more to make sure he was actually asleep and not gonna choke on his own vomit. After that hour and a half, we just said screw it and went inside to sleep. Needless to say, the guy woke up pretty confused: he was alone in the tent with the taste of vomit in his mouth and no memories of the night before. I'd say my most embarrassing moment would be one of the first times I was in a bar. The group I was with kept on buying shots of jenever. We'd already drunk beer before that and you know the expression: beer before liquor, never sicker. The stool beside me was free. I was sitting there, staring in front of me, somewhat confused. A pretty girl went to sit on the stool beside me. I thought I was gonna cough, put my hand up to my mouth because that's the polite thing to do when you cough, and was surprised when I felt something else on my hand. I quickly got up when I realized that and went to the bathroom to clean up, when I came back everyone was laughing. I'd have laughed too; must've looked pretty ridiculous with all that water on my sleeves from when I tried cleaning it up.

Real life help & advice
If you want to know UPS' prices, here. Extremely detailed, it'll tell you how long it'll take to ship and how much it'll cost. This is the same thing for FedEx. I'm assuming you'll find the same thing for every major shipping company under their "Shipping" tab. Also, holy crap that's expensive. For the running, it's a bit late, but wrapping your thumb in your hand and squeezing it should help a bit; the slight pain you generate from that will take the priority over the pain from the running (at least, that's what I've read).

Speaking of eyes, mine tear (as in, release tears, not get ripped) pretty easily (like when it's moderately windy and pretty cold and I'm on the bike), so it looks like I'm crying for no reason.
