Hextriplet. I believe Real Life Help and Advice is thattaway' *Points* Shoo. Shoooo. Anyway, why have you put Indian/Arabic/Middle Eastern together ? And can you add a option : Citizen of Earth ? You want me to separate it into Middle Eastern/ Arabic and Indian gets it's own category? List Updated. I change "White" to "Caucasian" and "Black" to "African Descent" because of some rants. White and black's fine with me, and if you get insulted by that you're way too easily insulted. Unless ofcourse the person is using it in an offensive way, which isn't the case here. And so far, there aren't even Indians, so making a seperate tag would be kinda stupid, but Indians and Arabs are 2 completely different people, so putting them together would be like putting Mexicans together with Northern-Africans (Morocco, Libya, Egypt...). They kinda look the same but they're both very different.- Genesis and The Big Bang
It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities. As I've said, the only thing that makes the christian god special is that the Christians killed everyone else. Alright, I don't want to turn this in a "Is God real" discussion, but you cannot ignore the amount of miracles that are credited to Christianity. It's not like christians just killed everyone they saw and that's why they rule the world or whatever. So many people who lost cancer or other diseases by the power of prayer alone, there are many examples, even to this day, and all of them are carefully examined by a board of bisshops and doctors. Look, I'm not a devout Christian (hell, I'm close to being no Christian at all), but I do believe in God and this has always been something that made me feel like it confirms my belief. Most so-called miracles can be explained, and for those that have no explanation, it doesn't automatically mean god did it. We don't know how something happens =/= god did it. As for the power of prayer, scientific research has been mixed, and some larger studies have shown no effect. One, in which recovering heart patients were prayed for, showed a negative effect. However, I'd say that's just due to some experimental error (you wouldn't believe that god intentionally hurts people, would you?), just like the studies that have claimed to show a positive effect. If you really want to establish a new idea in science, especially such a controversial one, you need a consistant demonstration of the effect in question, and that's just not happened with studies on prayer. You make prayer sounds like it's a steam engine. It's not something you just randomly turn on, it's not like you pray and *floop* everything just happens. Praying is something that shouldn't be done out of the pure believe that you'll get helped, but should be done to hold up a connection with God.- Genesis and The Big Bang

Alright, I made me one of those pretty maps of the surrounding area. My capital is Al Nour (of which I already posted the map) and Wastunia is a village that was also around the oasis that I've settled it. It had a lot of priests and such and they made golden goods, but a great flood ended up killing most of them and sending survivors into the desert. The oasis, btw, is actually part of a river, which is not unsimilar to the Nile. I will post my units soon, but I was wondering, what're limits/standards for OS, DS and MS? And how much RNG can an archer have? PS: My name on the world map is written wrong lol, Eygpt. I know it probably can't be corrected, but I'm just pointing it out.- Things that you LOVE
Me. No, seriously. Alright, no, I'm not that selfish lol. Anyway, I love helping someone, it's always great to know that you did something that helped someone else achieve something. Oh and Felix, I love you too :P- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
ROFL. To the above question, I'm not entirely sure how the kicking thing works, but Bowling said you can choose Ricochet playlists multiple times, so all damage to teammates is just done to you. Don't know if this'll be the only choice and if not, how the regular HC games would workd with the TK'ing thing. You know what'd be awesome? If snipers could headshot a chopper's pilot (only the regular chopper, not the Pave Low one). You'd have to see the chopper from the front, so it's not overpowered. That way both the sniper and the chopper are in danger of being shot, but the chopper has the advantage. You'd need 2 headshots for the pilot to die and crash the helicopter.- Things that annoy the hell out of you
Knowing that you really need to sleep, and actually feeling a bit sleepy, but somehow being too damn lazy to actually go to bed. This is happening to me right now... >.<- Race
I'm of Egyptian origin, so you can count me in as a Middle Eastern/Arabian/whatever the hell you feel like calling it.- Genesis and The Big Bang
Alright, I'd like to start off by stating that Genesis was not meant to be a representation of how it really was, but a way to encourage the Jews of the time (who were living under the Babylonians). The priests basically made the story to keep morale high, to promise the promised land. And to show the power of God. Second of all, you'll always hit an end with logical answers: if I ask "How did the universe begin?", you'd answer "The Big Bang". If I asked "How did that begin?", you'd answer "Matter colliding (or whatever lol)". I can keep on asking and you'll eventually hit a question that you just can't answer with logic. Where did the first matter just come from? Was it just there? Was there once nothing? So IMO, Genesis isn't the true story of the creation of the Earth (and IMO creationists are [developmentally delayed]ed), but the Big Bang is still a theory. And also, why can't they both (I mean Christianity here, not Genesis) be right? Why can't the Big Bang be done by the hand of God?- Inside Jagex Games Studio 28th October

Woah, I missed a lot in 2 days. So, do I need to make a unit roster too? And can someone else mark me on the map? Idc where exactly, just near a coast. PS, to reply to the poll thingy: I think a small hut could be built in a few days, but this would ofcourse offer close to no safety. I think for a decent house it should take like... 2 months? Something like that? Depends on the manpower, I guess. And also on the size of the building, the stuff included in the building, etc...- Brütal Legend
Alright, thanks, it worked out :)- Brütal Legend
Received the game in the mail today :D Went ahead and played through the single player, got stuck on this part [spoiler=Spoiler]After you repair the bridge, and Ophelia attacks you (you know, after both of you set up a stage). That battle is hard, any tips? Anyway, I like it so far, the RTS/action combo worked out well and this is probably the first time I played an escort mission and enjoyed it (the AI on the vehicle I needed to escort was decent, but the way you fight off the enemies was fun IMO). Good story (so far), good voice acting and the game looks great.- Tip.it Kingdoms
I edited my map to go with the terrain rules which are in the first post, but they're in different colours though, since it'd take ages to colour everything in a different colour again. That's why I included a key, all the stats of the terrain are the same, just the colours are different. Hope this is better:- Tip.it Kingdoms
Look, I'll happily adjust my map so it goes with all those rules, but it'd be useful if there was a list of terrains and their specs.- Tip.it Kingdoms
I'll vote for a simple Earth map, it's easier to use since you wouldn't need to mark every single thing on the map. EDIT: so my map fails? I thought there'd be some mistakes. The reason I put farm land seperately is because those are the only spots where they farm, the rest is just regular grass you can walk over, but the farm land has crops and such growing on them, and a lot of irrigation channels and such that are necessary for desert farming. But I can also just count it as grass (or plains), if you want me to.- Tip.it Kingdoms
Alright, my hometown, think I've got everything covered.- Tip.it Kingdoms
Meh, I'll just call the region around me Egypt lol. Also, do I need to make a map and such of my surrounding area?- Best Song Covers EVER!
This guy is from here in Belgium, and he covered the Timberlake/50 Cent song Ayo Technology on a guitar, got a lot of a recognition for it over here, don't know if this is known abroad, but judging from the fact there're 19M views (almost double the total population of Belgium) I'm assuming yeah. Meh, it beats the original IMO. Also, how is Mad World not mentioned? The Gary Jules cover is so much better than the original by Tears for Fear. Oh, and more from Belgium, a band, Sylver, covered Abba's Lay all your love on me, with a bit of a techno sound, and it sounds pretty good IMHO.- Tip.it Kingdoms
This sounds like a very interesting game to participate in. My tribe: The Egyptian Nomads (gotta stay true to my roots :P) Living in the desert plains of western Egypt, these warriors have been hardened by the tough circumstances in which they grew up in. Most men can handle a scimitar and some are master with bow and arrow. The Nomads found an oasis and settled around it, calling it Al Nour; this event marked the end of their trekking. They became trained fighters and formed an army, out to conquer the rest of Egypt. Al Nour has bad defense at the moment, but there are skilled craftsmen in the village that arm the soldiers. Let's say a population of about 10.000 people in the town of Al Nour, of which 5000 men, 3000 women and 2000 children under 18.- Brütal Legend
I can't wait for this. I should get this "within 4 weeks". Ever since I played the demo I can't wait lol.- Mechscape IS Stellar Dawn.
Lol, tbh, MechScape sounds kinda childish, and they probably did this to emphasize that this isn't just RuneScape with robots.- Paranormal Activity
Lol, Friday the 13th isn't scary, it's just a gorefest.- South Park - Season 13 Pt.2
"Dey took his dawg!" Heh, those rednecks are hilarious, but last weeks ep, Butters Bottom [bleep], was better :D - Race
