  1. Oh man, I wanna see this movie. But ofcourse I live in Belgium, like the movie'll ever come over here. But I'll have to remember the title. Also, I hated the Excorcist, it was boring and not creepy. It was [bleep]ing weird though, but not creepy. Just some WTF? moments, but no "Holy [cabbage] what is that noise I think I pee'd myself!!" moments.
  2. What's this talk about media servers? I've always wondered what those are... And yeah, no backwards compatibility. Shame, since I would've liked to just remove my PS2 and be able to play my games on the PS3, but I still have some fun replaying some old PS1 games.
  3. Yeah, I stand corrected, 3 grams is enough for about 10 doses or so. Sorry for that stupid mistake, it's what I heard. That's why I added imHo, I knew there was probably a mistake somewhere in my post, so yeah. Anyway, I'm still leaning towards legalization.
  4. Tough choice. I'd probably just check it out, see how it all works, and go on from there. I mean, it really depends on the situation at release and such.
  5. No way I'm changing my username, I love my current one.
  6. I don't really like TDU. I've got the PS2 version, which is basically a toned down 360 version, but I didn't like it at all, I mean sure, yeah, the graphics were great, the cars were nice and looked brilliant but that's it. IMHO it didn't have too much replay value.
  7. IMHO, weed should be legalized. There are many valid opinions on this here, but I'm leaning towards legalization, because people'll do it either way. The only bad part is if it functions as a gateway drug, basically meaning people take weed, think they're great and go on to bigger things. I don't know if this is actually a true phenomenon, since I've only heard of it, but it sounds reasonable, especially since everyone is different. PS, Belgium, a small country neighbouring Holland (weed capitol of the world), allows soft drugs, but only in doses of 3 grams or less (which would maybe be enough for 1 joint...). The thing is, there is no way to buy this in Belgium, so basically this means it's legal to buy, but you can't get it, and you can't stock up on it to save yourself from going to Holland each time you feel like smoking some weed or whatever. Also, ofcourse, drug dealing is illegal, so the only legal way to get drugs is to go to Holland and buy a 3g dose. I think you're also allowed to have a small weed plant for personal use. Ofcourse dealing it is not allowed.

Ah, thanks, it works now. Stupid Imageshack lol. That pistol above me is awesome, and the rifle is pretty nice too btw
  9. MW 24/7 (great site for MW2 news) made an article on the dedicated servers thing on the PC. Bowling (community manager), Zampella (IW CEO) and West (project leader) all explain why they made the switch from dedicated servers to matchmaking (IWNet). Tl;dr? Basically, it wasn't too piss off hardcore gamers, but to help the less hardcore ones, the casual gamers that were just looking to play a game without spending half an hour finding a good server first. It'll throw you into a game with players of the same skill (not necessarily rank) and allow IW to control the servers better (so there's less cheating.) They say people still have the possibility to make a private match, in which they can tweak game settings to their liking, so if you want to have clan training or whatever, you can still do so.

Alright, went ahead and made 2 weapons from scratch. My assault rifle is made for medium to close combat, and can also be used to infiltrate buildings if the folding stock is folded. The long barrel helps accuracy. The laser sight is used especially for indoors, while the red dot sight will be more useful outdoors. It contains plenty of bullets (around maybe 50) in the AK-styled magazine. Comes in desert colours, but is available in other colours too. My pistol will only in emergencies or if I want to finish one person off silently, which is why it includes a supressor. Also has a laser sight to make aiming easier. Both made from scratch, it was fun to experiment and try to mix and match :) PS: I can't post images for some reason, it says I can't use the image extension I'm using on this board. I tried using both JPG and PNG, I don't understand what the problem is.
  11. Not having to worry about stuff like school work or whatever Being able to rewind time And I'll keep the last one for a moment where I really need it. PS: Cracked owns.
  12. My Dutch teacher plays this, she's like... 40-50 years old. I kinda find it boring, don't know what people like about it. Also, what I heard is you need to be on at a specific time to harvest your crops and all, sounds annoying. Relating it to RS is a big step, and I doubt people playing Farmville would suddenly get interested in Runescape. That's like claiming people that like FIFA 10 will like Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. They're both in the same genre, but it's a very wide genre. Also, Farmville is viewed more as a casual Facebook app then an actual game, IMO.

Aww man, I used to love Chocobo Racing, I was like 6 while playing the game at the time, and I played with my sister, who soon afterwards had a grudge against gaming (it's a pointless waste of time). I also remember playing GT1 and GT2, waaay back. All of this on PS1. I really had a lot of games though, those were just a few.
  14. Aww, shame. I'll miss ya Xec, good luck in this real life thing you're talking about :P
  15. I went paintballing a while back, great fun, especially if you hit a guy straight on the helmet (which I did in the last game, where everyone got like 5 balls and nothing more.) But damn it, it did hurt, at one point our team was trapped in a shack kinda thing and they all started shooting at us execution style from up close.
  16. Man, I love the Barrett. I'm not really a sniper but I picked it up yesterday because I felt like it. And man, it owns on core game modes (especially Crossfire Ground War).
  17. Planet of the Apes: Hardcore edition.
  18. I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy, IMO all consoles have their own advantages and disadvantages. I own a PS3 and a Wii, and I've played a lot of fun hours on both of them. And I don't mind the 360 at all, I do see that it's better in some ways then a PS3 and such. So yeah, to answer your question, I don't really consider myself a fanboy.

  20. Guys, I've got a problem. I'm trying to log into Steam, but I forgot my acc name, and I don't want to make a new one, since I'd have to repurchase TF2. Can someone check my name in the TIF group? Or at least tell me the group's name? EDIT: found the name, now I'm just trying to make Steam send me an e-mail... EDIT2: I'm sure that I typed in the right name (I looked for my TF2 receipt, and it said my name), but it just won't send me an e-mail. Can someone help me?
  21. Oh man, this trailer looks awesome. To sum up what I find most awesome: Customizable call-signs (everytime you kill someone, this box pops up with all their info) Double attachments (as seen in the end) Throwing knives (how [bleep]ing awesome is that?) Ingame host migration (no more "Host ended game" while you're owning everyone) Also, riot shields seem pretty decent, I was afraid they'd be overpowered, but it doesn't look like it. Although it seems boring and unrewarding to use, unless you get XP for blocking shots or something, the only thing the riot shield guys are doing is running around lol. Oh, and did you see you get something for 4 killstreaks? It said "Air drop", maybe some kinda ammo increase or something? I can't wait for another trailer. O.O
  22. Nice straight-to-the-point guide, and like the person above I never completely understood combo runes. But why do you say talismans are expensive? Can you only use them once?
  23. Actually, MMG already confirmed it in his Q&A: I don't think there's more info on this, so so far I'm going with sailing!!@@@@
  24. This is a nice guide, everything is explained nicely. I don't have specific goals atm but if I do, I'll be sure to use this :)
