  1. After this update I didn't think my hats would ever sell but I logged on this morning and .... \ I guess people still want their own partyhats
  2. Before the update my hats were worth 1.55b according to the net wealth transfer thing in trade and just after the update it said 1.29b gf 260m :XD:
  3. Haha good fight bounty hunter. Was lucky that he was my target because I managed to get out with it all except boots, serker and runes even though about 8 of his mates rushed in after he died. He was standing around in no armour for some reason so I just ran in and specced him out in one spec l0l
  4. The singing and lyrics are awful but the drums make it a little better than the original. I Set My Friends On Fire's version is the only one I can listen to and enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNVYE1CcTLg
  5. Finally someone who feels the same as I!! I was excited about the shop update... finally a chance to get runes whenI want and how many I want (based on how much money I have). My mates would say, "let's go CW" Then I would have to spend x amount of time getting bloods to play because I didn't have enough for the casts. Problem solved. My RANT---> Battle staves. Runes don't come cheap. Which is why making battle staves were a life saver. I would buy the staves for a big profit then I was able to buy my bloods. NOW...as stated...I can't do that because it will take longer, much longer, to every gather the battle staves (unless I world hop, but even then I am doing what....competing with other players). Use pizzazz opints?? Are you nuts?!?!? I am saving up to get infinity gear and you want me to use them for battle staves! I hope Jagex realizes that they have really hurt the "true" players and come up with something for getting battle staves. In the RS forums, there is a suggestion for a battle stave update, involving players making their own. If you can find it, check out some of the ideas. Some people have been asking why we have removed these items from shops and put them elsewhere. We have removed the battlestaffs and seaweed from shops because they were things which were balanced on having rather limited stocks. Battlestaffs have a pretty hefty cost mark up once you've added the orbs which was a lot of the reason for making them. And if you could get unlimited amounts of sand and soda ash the crafting xp rate is actually pretty insane for very little effort. Fortunately before it was hard for many players to buy these things in volume, so they sort of self balanced, otherwise we'd have actually considered them broken. Unfortunately if we left these items at limited stocks then as we removed other autobuyer targets such as runes and arrows - these would have been quite an obvious target for bots, the price mark up from shop prices on these objects is actually pretty good, the legitimate people buying these items could quite soon be ranting at us, due to the bots selling out their stock thus that they could buy none. A premptive strike was clearly needed. Our aim is to keep these items at limited availability, but to change the ways for getting them to something not autobuyer friendly. Our aim isn't to make these things any harder (or easier) to get overall. If we've not got these altenative methods quite right, then I'm happy to tweak them For example I understand that the mage training arena pizzazz cost might be a bit prohibatively high for pracitically buying battlestaffs right now. I am looking into this to see what a sensible cost in pizzazz points would be. I'd like to get people using that area a little more anyway :) We will also be increasing baba yagas stock levels of battlestaffs, to 20. Getting seaweed from nets while fishing monkfish is quite good and was originally meant to be considered a bit of an additional reward for completing swansong. Unfortunately it possibly got a bit nerfed when we then released the trade ships, but its still there. Theres plenty of other less conveniently located spawns for the lower levels too. I'll certainly be thinking of other ways for players to get seaweed too.
  6. So, you're whole basis of whether consuming alcohol at all is based on one experience? Err, not a very legit way to prove a case, let alone make a life decision on. Especially considering that the alcohol wouldn't be in your system for that long :-s . Maybe you just had a bad gaming-streak or something  ? That, and you're basing your decision that "alcohol is evil" off of "it makez m3 play games l3ss g00d"? Dude, if it messed me up for one or two days, that would be one thing. But two [bleep]ing months? Sorry, but it makes your counter-argument fall apart here, seeing as it screwed me over pretty damn well. That was the only time I was messed over so badly. 'kay, that's surprising to say the least :-k . Did you ever realize that alcohol is a type of drug? Or for that matter, the hormonal rush from sex? If you haven't, you need to. (Single-ness and no alcohol as a straight guy FTW. Who needs either one anyway? LOL  ...) ~Mr. Devnull So, your stance is that both sex and alcohol are bad? What exactly is the point you're making about the "hormonal rush" from sex, anyways? And did you know that part of that hormonal rush releases chemicals that have been scientifically proven to bring a couple closer together in their relationship? I'm just gonna laugh here. ... Why, you ask? I have actually heard of couples that get along perfectly fine, and they've never done 'it'. Again, argument shot down (and in flames)... :? Virgin, yes, and plenty of mind energy spare due to it, part of why I game so damn well. Alcohol, like noted above, yes. BTW, have I sliced you into mini-size spaghetti strips enough? Hmm, don't answer that, I've already turned you into short bits of spaghetti with that cheese-grater. ~Mr. Devnull (p.s.: I dunno why, but before I saw this reply from you, I was having this "House"-related nightmare in regard to a doctors' conference on a space trip. Maybe it has something to do with the headache you're giving me.) On average it takes about one hour for your body to process one unit of alcohol. This varies depending on your body size, sex and the amount of food in your digestive system. If your liver isn't functioning normally, the process takes longer. One unit of alcohol is roughly equivalent to half a pint of beer, a 25ml (pub) measure of spirit, or two-thirds of a small (125ml) glass of wine. This means that one pint takes your body about two hours to break down, and a large glass of wine (250ml) about three hours - longer if the ABV (alcohol by volume) content is higher than average. So if you have seven pints during a night out, it could take as long as 17 or 18 hours to leave your system. - Two months? .... I don't think its possible to consume that much alcohol by 'accident'.
  7. I honestly think last months varrock update was very disappointing, they just made a city I never go to look a little bit better :? . Hopefully the bow is good though, range really needs an update.
  8. u could, but why would u have ugly crap that has not set effect when u could pay 1m more and maybe use a great axe occasionally when ur low on hp. instead of being like oh hey this is good def and has no other capability to it.
