All rares should be deleted from the game, they just defeat the object of the entire game, you find something on the floor, 3 years later you have millions of gp, to me that is pointless. Expensive items should be for those that work hard, not noobs that pick things up off the floor. But i suppose it is an accurate account of why pointless items are so expensive.

nice, but items are only worth something someone is prepared to pay for it, i say wiping there entire bank account and skills, then what could they do?

I think the person who places it there, could set a minimum price or whatever as the seller isn't there to haggle.
