Very fine line between being inspired by something, and copying/ripping something. The reason I am mad at these people is that they are going the wrong way. It's the blind way which will mess up their skill if they keep imitating. To become skilled, you have to go on your own way. That applies to anything.

I remember it had more posts than mine, soon again though as you have one crazy smithing business. :) Well I got 3+ hours ahead of me tonight to work on sig making. Yes, I make all my pixel sigs in Paint. The sig I'm using now was drawn by me in RL with normal pencil, Wyrm added the BG and text.

Idk whats ur problem masterxman, but ur acting like you directly copy and pasted characters from your siggy to his own, which he didn't. Also if you want to go into 'omg his looks like mine if ur twist ur head and squint' then were u the first person to ever do something in pixel? i don't think so. It's not like you invented pixel siggies :roll: I use to think your sigs were cool, i was tempted to buy one, buy i wouldn't give 1mill so a stuck up good person like you. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN: Wether you rip an entire sig, or wether you just slightly copy my style, I still think it's unacceptable. And yes, IT IS A BIG DEAL if they just "twist ur head and squint", because there is no need for it. There is no excuse for not finding your own style or way, there are a billion ways (YES EVEN MORE THAN A BILLION! I ONLY USE ONE! INCREDIBLE I KNOW!). Get your own style, it's not that freaken hard. Fact is I think it's bad if it happens to anyone else, not just me. Is it so hard to understand. EDIT: I just noticed that the giant's foot is an exact rip of Lazy's foot in his sig. I'm TIRED OF THIS "it's ok" RIPPING!

Says in the first post, like everything else. But yes, I make these in paint alone. I don't like the other stuff, too complicated for my tastes. I like the simplicity of paint that matches closely with RL drawing.

Please find your own pixel style as I'm cracking down on copying. umm dude these look absolutely nothing alike..... nothin..... i repeat nothing... dont get too worked up over something to you looks like one of your sigs.... and i repeat absolutly nuttin nadda zip I'm talking about the style of the shading and stuff, my style being copied there in a bad way. Out of all the billion colors of paint, he uses the exact same ones as me. Would you dare to say he didn't look at my sig while he was doing his?

I'm also wondering if people even read the title. Well right now I am finishing coloring Night's sig for his contest. I want to post that within an hour so I can start on a few orders and finish by tonight. Also got to memorize all these cal 2 trig integrations and derivates lol. HW comes first! it's not like you can live on RS money....or CAN u? [ ebay lol ] Yep main reason I got no time now. But hey if anyone wants to pay me with a scolarship go ahead lol.

i just checkd that site.. there are to many maps.. im not gonna look all pages i put allot of effort in mine.. they take about 5/6/7 hours each except maybe the ones i made for this thread and my first two.. Search for the author "misterxman" in the multiplayer section of downloads.

Reason no new sigs posted is because of no time. I need at least 4+ hours per sig and that is something I don't have. I also can't start a sig and work a bit, then stop, then work a bit, or else it comes out horrible. :(

I try my best with the short amount of time I have, but yeah if I had a lot more time I'd do better.

A great thing that if the pencil fad works, no one will be able to rip "styles" or "learn" how to do it in 2 minutes. :twisted:

Well people have tried to start new fads. I used to make pencil drawing sigs, closed that because took way too long. Anyone remember the M&M sigs? :D

I'd rather recieve respect from people who know how wrong it is to do what these style stealers do. STOP DOING THIS! I am not joking when I say this. Just because I have a lot of sigs doesn't mean I can't remember them. I can recall every single sig I've made and will know if something came from one of my sigs. Don't insult my memory any longer.

While I like your cause, I think a sig that likes pixel should be pixel lol.

Come back when they rip your sigs and style and we will talk. You know if your style was that original and never could be thought up by anyone else then you could get this upset. Your sigs are very simple with a lack of detail in things such as the armor and gradient like shading. You didn't revolutionize they way people pixel. Someone could have easily made that style a day before you and then you would have been screwed. OK OK people learn to read first. ALL I said was that I'm upset that people keep trying to use my style, that's all. I didn't say I revolutionized anything, I didn't say I'm good, I didn't say I'm bad. Stop assuming things when you gonna say something. I'd be mad if people took my style wether people loved it or hated it. It' still MY style, and I think I have the right to keep it for myself. You are saying it's ok to use other people's styles, and ONLY bad when those people are really good? Give me a break and just tell me you have no respect for yourself. Stop posting lies in order to sound like you know what you're saying. If you knew what you were talking about, you'd now that how good or how bad someone is has nothing to do with how mad that person would be if someone took their style. Again, once someone rips your sigs and style, tell me if you still don't care.

I smell some smoke, I want to see what he posted about me behind my back. I haven't had time to check forums lately, so if anyone could clear up what happened, that'd be cool lol. BTW-Great sig Vlad, I remember when you posted it about earlier. :)
