  1. Fyi, not being able to share items between two linked accounts just means people will use accounts that aren't linked. It is VERY easy to trade between two accounts on the same computer currently. A linked account thing would be interesting, but in a class-less game such as RS there is not benefit outside of specialty PVP builds. I think a linked account works better on games where each account is a separate class. Yes, I realize that's against the rules, but... well... so is botting?
  2. I was wearing darkmeyer legs boots. :P No vanguard boots yet. :( ftfy
  3. Tbh, if all your accounts were managed under one, er, account, it'd be pretty hard to transfer stuff between them unless Jagex let you. But, er, seriously, I'm not sure what you're getting at. As long as you keep free trade, it's easy to transfer stuff between accounts by just logging them both on the same world. And fyi, I have been able to log two accounts onto the same world using the same computer for years, using no advanced computer knowledge or programs or whatnot, just an internet browser and a bit of creativity. Seriously tho, you can either have an item transferable between two separate accounts or you can make the item not transferable between separate accounts. As for character list/number of accounts... RS is easy to make accounts for. I could make half a dozen new email accounts and half a dozen new RS accounts using said emails. If I ran into a limited amount of accounts that my credit card was allowed to pay for, I could buy a few ultimate game cards and/or prepaid credit cards... it really isn't that hard.
  4. That's just an outright lie Q. 90% of this blog is spam. There isn't a "bit" of spam. It's like, sending a cop to a jail to practice finding people guilty of crimes. Sure, there's the occasional innocent person there, but most of them are (hopefully) guilty.
  5. "Indirectly" is probably the most apt description. Thing is though, if they're not being part of the solution, then they're really just another part of the problem. Acknowledging that there "may be a problem" (Really? What was his first clue? Did his Spider-senses tingle?) is a mere snow-flake as compared to the pending avalanche of general distrust, dissatisfaction and disgruntlement (Alliteration! FTW!) amongst the "community" at large. Sadly, it seems that, for the most part, the only "community" that Jagex appears to listen to are the pmods and the maxed players who, sadly, are likewise going to be amongst the majority of people attending Runefest so I am, again, somewhat doubtful that we're going to see or hear much from THAT venue with respect to "rebuilding trust" nor do I suspect that they intend to really pay much attention to what is being said outside of that relatively small circle of influence. As pointed out back in early February after Jagex brought back the Wildy and Free-Trade I asked then if anyone had a feeling that, at that time, Runescape had "jumped the shark". After that "update", they followed up with six months of rather disappointing "updates", culminating in the disastrous "smithing re-vamp" Artisan's Workshop and the PillarSalt in the Wound quest. ... and as much as I liked them even the last two quests "Branches of Darkmeyer" and "Ritual of the Mahjarrat", while decent, are no "While Guthix Sleeps" in terms of quality quest material. Really. Meanwhile, the bots run amok, unabated like locusts piling over on every possible resource within the game, and they're growing in number and spreading to even more areas within the game. ... and a few days ago someone said that they're going to "rebuild trust in the community" ... Which community? The immediate small circle of pmods and maxed players that they speak to regularly? The locals living in and around London who can make it to Runefest? The massive horde of bots that really don't care? Or will they really come and talk us? Frankly I think the "thrust in the community" is the most likely outcome ... I just hope I get a kiss, first. If you go to RuneFest, you'll probably get the equivalent of dinner and a movie first ;)
  6. This pretty much :P. I'm going to merge LTK and Zaap in a bit, hang on. LTK's first post. That's the 3000th post. Nooo Enaid why did you kill my 3k post :( I demand you unmerge the blog. I never gave you permission.
  7. What. And Kimberly, don't you love me? </3 Why won't you join the harpies? :(
  8. Tbh, it'd be faster to delete the blog. @ Kimberly: You seem like a strong, beautiful cleaning lady global moderator. How would you like to be a harpie?
  9. I recommend it. In fact, watching it in 20 minutes. yousmell
  10. If the drop rate was dependent purely on what brothers were killed, making it so killing 7 didn't provide a higher item chance then 6 would be hell to code. Also, somehow killing an extra brother wouldn't affect the rate in any way.
  11. Got to disagree with that. Less information released to big audiences, the better they can keep bot scripters from finding workarounds before they're even implemented, wouldn't you think? Aren't all these insider sessions locked down by legal agreements not to talk about it? F that. They need to make a video of this bot discussion. I understand the need for secrecy on anti-bot measures, because they more that is known about the anti-bot measures the easier it is to find a way to circumvent it, but still. They've answered that before. Because sometimes loyal, honest players get tempted to the dark side (aka botting) and they think it's rather unfair to perm-ban someone who is/was a loyal and longtime player simply for one infraction. Which is actually understandable, if it wasn't for the rampant botting abuse it caused. Or maybe they just starting that to get more money from botters, idk.
  12. Because this thread never, ever makes sense.
  13. There's a reason I don't even try to understand what goes on here.
  14. Eventually, you should expect the price of the Armadyl rune to become high enough that most players will choose to sell the... runes? shards? instead of use the SoA spell. Plus realistically, the only place you'd use the SoA would be PVP, potentially bosses, and Glacors. I can't see the rune becoming cheap enough for most players regular slaying.
  15. The boots are a new item, a useful item and a rare item. That means it'll probably be around a month before the GE price is accurate.
  16. OMG OMG OMG NO WAI NO WAI NO WAI -has no idea who stonewall is-
  17. Um, is it sposed to induce rage by you not being able to play it because the back option on it doesn't work? Or nothing happening when you click a song? Also, try playing "I Wanna Be the Guy" You literally die every, like, 10 seconds.
  18. Well, interesting, but I'm waiting on the confirmation experiments.
