Idk how Hybrid works, but you generally calculate Magic Damage by (Magic Damage % Bonus) X (3 X magic level boost) Adding Hybrid, you'd multiply the amountuh, damage without Hybrid with the boost hybrid gives. Dunno if you'd multiply for each Hybrid piece of multiply your hit by the total % boost Hybrid adds. Honestly, the best way to figure out Magic Damage is look at the % boosts to damage you get, and start adding and multiplying them until you get something that's consistent with what you hit and what it says. EDIT: Fixed up my post because I realized it's probably not as clear as it could be.

But they aren't supposed to be actual wings; they are meant to be a shimmering magical aura, the same as the vague colour shapes we get on weapons from auras. To me its perfectly fitting that they are flat given their context. How would you know the exact intent of the wings? In the fantasy world they could very well have the capacity for flight. Because RS isn't a 3d flying game, so the closest we'll get to flying is floating. Plus, none of the revealed screenshots show someone floating.

PPS? That the new slayer dungeon spell thinger? Personally, I always found magic to be too much of a pain there. CBF adding "choose fire surge" on top of switching everything else. Got a feeling that PPS thing doesn't need that tho...
