Holiday event! We always look forward to them as a time where we can get a cool emote and a whacky item. But somethiong is fishy about them... Events lately have been seeming to give free players member-like features, Such as f2pers are able to hunt implings Similar to Doing Impetious(sp?) Impulses. Last year in easter f2pers were able to summon a creature and have it attack And in the event where we got the grim hood. f2pers were givin an agility course to complete. Training agility, another member feature Is it just me? Or are these "Fun" Events made for advertisment. I mean alot of ppl log on to do these event so they don't have the blank icons and items. Post your thoughts

Well, the parents brought the kids up to be like that. I think you should blame the parents. Alfie has about 8 other siblings, and I think that all of them are half brothers/sister. His dad doesn't live at home, and thinks that making babies is good money (That makes perfect sense :| ) Alfie doesn't go to school because his parents can't afford it. Tell you something already? Tbh, you cannot blame parents for that I was born to wait till i was married, i didn't but my know you can't do anythign about it, Sex is natural, teens and adults love it

Anyone who believes in karma wouldn't spend so much time gloating and laughing about misfortune falling on a child. If karma is a cabbage, so are half the people on this thread. I can't believe all of the nasty, heartless comments from mods and admins in this thread. It looks like Tip.it has gone the way of the RSOF. What a shame. Heartless? Nasty? I would like to think that comment is unfounded and radical. Most of my apathy, and humor comes from the news source, I am not a fan of most news outlets as biased media annoys me - this story was very poorly researched and did nothing more than establish an emotional jerk from the audiance, the poor kid got hurt on the internet - internet is not safe. The internet is dangerous, those damn adult's are out hurting kids, good chance the hacker is a minor too, most of the game is kids. Honestly, The kid deserves to be banned, I know too many "kids" who were banned harshly in classic and treated as adults, I suppose to me any other sort of justice is unfair and largely the fact that he is unbanned, makes me feel like cheating occurred. While I do tend to speed from time to time, the fact is - in life, most things have punishments. If I speed, I might get a ticket, but I live in a small town where sometimes I hit that dirt road and it's just me for miles. Comparing cheating - something that can get you kicked out of uni or in trouble in school - is bad. For starters we don't know the whole story and we likely never will. But for a news article centered around RWT and it being ripped from him - Thats not exactly going to win you over friends. While it is sad his entire christmas is now gone, it' was also used to something that in our game, is a very hard and bad offense that carries a stigma. Rules are rules, and he broke them, considering this rule changed the wild, trade and the game alot - it's not like he abused the penguin bug. I find it hard to believe a seemingly ok 11 year old would go to a gold website - not realize it's illegal if he plays the game and not know what he was doing was wrong. an old adage went "items come and go, xp is forever" - quite often in classic. In his case, he broke a rule and doesnt deserve his xp, but he has it, so he should count himself lucky. i couldn't agree more! its juts as soon as a parent hears this, they immediatly jump the band wagon and start hatin on jagex :roll:

I don't know if you've read...but it said the parents gave consent to have sex with him. But he could have used protection or birth control, thats ignorance on the teens part, sure everyone love to have sex, but if your dumb, u get what u get...

What i feel You have the right to love who you want to love Male or Female, personally i woudl never sleep with another man, but i do not find it horribly discusting if someone else does it, i just donm't want to hear about it... You are your own person, do not let society\religion tell you otherwise

I do not blame parents for this, the two that had Unprotected sex are the ones to be at fault alot of teens do it, juts some are actually smarter and some actually dumb enough to risk the consequences

Okay i got a question My "Girlfriend" and i are pretty much going out, but not really I see her at work everyday, we kiss hug all the stuff couples do, but shes "not my girlfriend" We went out before, but due to her Ridiculously hard a school she goes to we kinda keep everythin on the dl... Exactly, i think parent failure to actually see what kids are doing online is why this kid got hacked, plus jagex states you must be 13+ to play, the news cast immediatly takes action against the company, i bet u they didn't even go to the site and read the rules

Jagex shouldn't be responsible at all for this IMO, how many parents do u think actually read all the rs rules? Also the boy is only 11 years old... post ur thoughs

i agree 100%, the only thing is with the already untradable ones, don't allow them to be regotten, cause those arew an actual symbol of seinority But it would be evening everything out, the items converted into coins would be just fine. i think... haha But players who collected all the rares will ger mad, and ppl may go above the gp cap, so that may be an issue, otherwise iagree 100%
