Have you guys ever done a Nuzlocke Challenge? It's pretty much Pokemon on hard mode The rules to do it are: -If your Pokemon faints, you must release it. Even your starter. -You may only catch the first Pokemon you meet on any given route, city, cave, or area such as the Safari Zone -If you fail to catch the first Pokemon (First couple of routes are exempt until you get your Pokeball) you meet then tough luck, you get no Pokemon from that area. -You must nickname every Pokemon you catch. Having a personal attachment to your Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, or Bidoof makes the pain that much harder when you lose it. -Some people like to add extra challenges such as no healing items, only 1 Pokemon center visit, or no buying Pokeballs. Feel free to add any rule to make it harder. I'm running this on Diamond at the moment. Should be interesting.

I use the thermal scope on Wasteland and Estate, both of which are very large and grassy maps. Even though I can see someone hiding in the grass at a decent distance without it, what about the people who are in the grass on the other side of the map?

You're bad kid. This is why I play CoD4, its just straight up scopes, none of the BS of giving bad players like riku who can't snipe advantages. An even playing field for everyone pretty much. God forbid someone actually play to have FUN right? You don't always have to have the "greatest setup" that everyone uses. Have some fun, use stuff you normally wouldn't. Put thermal on a P90 and run around with it. Have dual mini uzi's with lightweight and marathon on and just run around the map. WHO CARES. It's just a game ffs. Quit flaming people for doing stuff you don't. It's getting annoying and is just plain stupid. By your and riku's arguments there is nothing wrong with camping with 2 claymores set up OMA DC tubing from windows. I don't know if OMA was intended to be abused like that. However, the thermal scope was intended to be used in the way that I'm using it and has a direct counter to it. Not to mention the fact that you pretty much said I was incapable of sniping without thermal even when I do use the normal scope.

I don't see how using the game to my advantage means I can't snipe. Not to mention that you do have the option of putting on Cold-Blooded yourself and turning gray in my scope, which really, if anyone is glowing on my scope they deserve it because I'm playing hardcore. And on one of the maps I snipe on I'm forced to use a normal scope, which I do fine with.

Problem? What now? I use a thermal scope and cold-blooded with my sniper. I also use a HBS. :razz:

By definition, anime is Japanese animation. Shows such as Avatar, The Boondocks, and Samurai Jack have anime styles to them, but can't really be called anime. Err... TV commercials annoy me. Lately they've just become "words words words words words this is our product, this is why you should buy it, this is why it's better than everyone else's, blah blah blah phone number" Why is it that everywhere else in the world is able to sell product without so many damn words?!?! I saw an African condom commercial once. A woman was walking down a street with an umbrella and a guy just walks over and puts a condom on the umbrella and walked away. No words, but it nailed the point that those comdoms were damn strong to fit on an entire umbrella.

Astro Boy, Speed Racer, and other low-budget anime from the 80's and back?

The fanbase probably, but anything that anybody likes has an annoying group within them.

At least you gave some reasons why you dislike anime. The only thing I'd say is a "bad" reason would be "They always do ridiculous stuff". I've always seen the point of television as providing a way to escape from reality. Nobody would watch anything if everything was just normal life without any abnormalities. Anyways, I'm coming to hate video games that involve singing into a microphone. Only pre-teen girls buy it and they do it terrily (my cousin). Not to mention the fact that she's taking up the 360 whenever I want to play Street Fighter or CoD... <_<

Saying any form of art is bad simply because it exist is as bad of an argument as you will ever get. Either discuss with arguments or don't discuss at all honestly. There has to be an actual reason why you dislike something. At least say what you've seen and why you dislike it.

No. The fact anything actually is anime is what makes it bad. You're also being a fanboy by trying to state that there is some kind of anime bs that everyone will like. Not everyone likes it. Also the fact you're being elitist about something as stupid and insignificant as anime is pretty annoying too. So because it's animated... It's bad? Not all anime is the same you know. Just like there are different TV series that some people love and some people hate, there are anime series that cater to different kinds of people. Taking Naruto and it's fanbase then applying it to all of anime is like taking Degrassi and it's fanbase then applying to all of television. Everything by Miyazaki is a masterpiece. Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle are also just wonderful.

Though the elitists that hate those three because of their popularity can be quite bad too. Fanboys of anything are annoying. I watch a little of everything though, I know that there's way better series than the training and powerlevel styles of Naruto and Bleach. One Piece is certainly the best of the 3, but Luffy is never getting any closer to finding the treasure and becoming the greatest pirate.

You guys may be watching the wrong series. There's really something for everyone. The worst fanboy/girls are those of Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece.
