  1. yeah, I was having the same problem. I wanted to make some posts on the forum.
  2. Get a job 'ye hippie! :P Yeah, tuesday mornings officially SUCK. NOTHING works. Not even the armory. I was going to check out what PvP rewards I could get with all the arathi basin I've been doing but nooo it's down. By the way, I'm saving uip 3.3k honor points for insignia of the alliance on my gnome mage (blackrock). I recently bought a really nice cloak for about 100 honor points and I figured why not. I make 200 honor a day without trying. Oh and Kayla add me, Zedar (21 undead warlock)
  3. You may have been enticed to post this thread because of the other guy's thread, but he was more of an exception. We all know him around here... and hate to say it...Yeah...
  4. This thread is very insightful...I really don't know what to say, but I can't not say anything...great post...
  5. Yes, but you have been in a sasylum. Why don't you share your stories about that place, eh?
  6. 1. I think the word ease is misunderstood. Ease may not be individual ease but perhaps the ease of society. Do you see our modern day civilization breaking apart (without the whole world destroying). Our civilization would still be at risk of destruction were it not for globalization and new "technology". 2. Ease is relative to individuals. I'm sure if you moved to Guatemala "you'd be less happy". It is impossible to reach ease if the standard for ease keeps rising at the same rate ease is. This is obvious. 3. The happiest people were always the highest class. Why? Because there is people to compensate for their luxury...slaves and lower class. In modern society, this is impossible because of the middle class and humanitarian junk. I betcha the Romans who had slaves were happier than the "upper" class person who worked to get there place in society. 4. There's more people. More competition = harder to be happy
  7. Yes, but it would exist outside the universe, and so we can't measure it or think about it, so it's useless as a concept. Are you sure about that? No it would not exist outside of the universe and we can still measure it and think about it all we want. So it is very useful as a concept. I personally use this concept everyday. :-s No you don't. No being within the universe escapes It's laws. Thus, you don't experience universal time, but only how it relates to you. This is basic generaly relativity dude. The concept exists outside the universe because only an observer who is extrauniverse, yet still able to observe our universe, would be able to understand universal time. Yes, absolute time can only be measured outside of the universe because if you were in it you would observe it. I fail to see how it is a useless concept if we, humans, can't observe. We can still think about it.
  8. I had a good PvP day too. First, I went to arathi highlands and killed 4 horde after getting killed by a ??? twice. Then, a couple of 70s came and we killed 3 horde that were attacking refuge point. After that, I went with a guildy to Hillsbrad and killed two level 20s, a level 31, and a level 33. Only the level 33 was with help. Then, I managed to kill a senior seargent ???, with help of course. My ice spells and a few fireballs hit.
  9. Yes, do not ban. We know that Jagex probably makes many mistakes when banning. You always here the occasional tifer saying "my account was unfairly banned". Whether it was unfair or not doesn't matter. It's the fact that it can go either way. You have to think "WHY would a 126 jeopardize his account"? There's a larger chance you're wrong with a 126 than a level 3. Hell, jagex can't even catch the obvious ones why would they focus on a 126? It's better to give a second chance to them and automatically ban the level 3s that you know are autoing.
  10. Which one? I get on Yuri's Revenge from time to time. Dying breed though. Well it all started in 2000...or so when my dad took me to his work. His boss, fairly young and established man, showed me this game called Age of Empires. He burnt the game (remember these guys are computer hardware and software wizzes) for me and I started gaming. The rest is history.
  11. Absolute time as in the measure between the beginning of time or universe (was there time before the universe?). So aging only applies to relative time or an observer of time, right? So what does age have to do with the common moment? I suppose if you had like a being outside the universe (call him god, or bob, whatever) that started a stopwatch at the moment of the big bang and was counting the seconds, in that sense there would be an absolute time. But as far as we know, there is no transcendent being outside of the universe, and within the universe time is relative, so it is meaningless to pose the question (kinda). It's confusing as sin though, either way. @Ragen, yeah the faster you go the slower your time flows, and the closer you get a source of stronger gravity the slower your time flows. It doesn't have to be measured to exist.
  12. Be a littttle more fit than I am Be a LOT less lazy than I am
  13. That's why I quit! See for me it all happened when my friend Brice told me about this game (it was at the end of RSC). I wandered around and had fun. Before I even know about different types of armor, I said to my friend Brice, "Man! I want that blue (rune) armor! It looks sweet!". Then he broke the tragic news about how it's really expensive and how hard it is to get. A couple of days later he screamed to me saying, "Hey! Guess what? Some really nice high level quit and gave me his full rune! Oh my God! I'm so happy!". Today (before I gave/staked all my stuff away), I could afford about 1,400 sets of full rune. H ow ridiculous. There's no "I want this" besides a stupid paper hat or evil rabbit mask. There's nothing to look up to that's within reach that isn't considered "rare". I too hated the dark wizards and now i go there and one hit they're dead.

  15. Sweet! 1. Will I be bored all summer or will I find someone/something to do? 2. Will I go to Georgia Tech or a bettter/worse school in/out of state? 3. Is Viktor really that OBSESSED with Europe or is he just putting that on on tip.it?
  16. Actually, money's quite an attractive asset in my opinion. I consider her a creature. You fail. Actually, money's quite an attractive asset in my opinion. Butter's parents didn't even do it for 250 million dollars cash (even though they considered!). How the hell would i? rofl!!!1 hahahahahah!!! sooo true! You'd have to be either gay or female to not find her attractive. I'm neither and I don't find her attractive. Just look at her face!
  17. Yes, but if you were to stand outside a black hole and say your mother was cooking chicken in the kitchen. You stand outside the black hole the exact same time after the beginning of the universe as your mother is cooking chicken in the kitchen. So they are the same "moment". So it is the same "time". The age doesn't really have to do with the absolute time, right?
  18. Lol, I wonder if there's someone or something out there that has bought our galaxy. Now that would be ironic.
  19. agreed Well yes because their life process wasn't initiated as fast as ours. That doesn't make it a different time away from teh beginning of the universe We see Andromeda as it was 200,000 years ago because the speed of light. But I'm talking about TIME. Not "time" from a human perspective. Our perspective doesn't matter
  20. Well yes because their life process wasn't initiated as fast as ours. That doesn't make it a different time away from teh beginning of the universe
  21. I sound like your example. I don't have any major flaws (that I know of). I'm not stupid. I'm not incredibly ugly. I'm not unpopular. I guess I just have no balls. Please Santa. For christmas...could ya? It'd be nice to have them before prom  EDIT: I'm a sophmore so I was just kidding (I don't plan to go to pron). Can't say before homecoming because homecoming is before Christmas!
