Don't quote me on this, but I believe modern psychology can usually "fix" (for lack of a better term) one's morals. Yes, it's impossible to stop these acts from happening. But, with a lack of weapons, these acts would be far less damaging. :) Modern psychology is a crock of [cabbage]. I have my set of beliefs alright, and even if they differ from yours, they're not as wrong as yours. Society has been known to be wrong many times. Look at history. Sometimes majority isn't always right. Case and point: The Western world.

This post is somewhat confusing to me... I don't believe God is a controlling being. But, also, I think that he judges actions we make. Without Heaven or Hell, wrong things we do would go unpunished. Heck, a major reason Jesus came to Earth was to rescue us from Hell. The idea of him judging our actions is enough to make a person change. The idea of me going to heaven and hell will force me to 'behave.' When the person changes, he doesn't change because he wants to, he changes just to avoid punishment, or in other cases, has to. And that is not free will.

Of course, but with strict enforcement and a better light from the media gun use could be down to an extreme low. How about making guns illegal for everyone? Not just teens. Most kids can easily acquire guns from their parents as it is. Again, taking guns away from people is taking away a personal freedom. This is your democracy your fathers and grandfather fought for, now live with it.

I have no problem with people dealing with their own problems, provided it doesn't end violently. In many cases, sadly, it does. That's why I encourage people to go to the teachers/police/whoever. A bully isn't going to hit a teacher, or won't be picking on you in front of a teacher, will he?

That does not help. I repeat, that does not help! What you need to do is to send a message accross, loud and clear. The message is "Someone's constantly putting you down? Making fun of you about something? etc.. Go talk to your teacher. He will help!" Send that message out and people will listen. You need to get rid of the "rat" label, and that's one of the best ways to do it. Im sorry, you must be confusing my headteacher with someone who will help - Infact, none of my teachers ever seem interested in bullying. Atleast if student can talk to me about the issues, i can maturely adress the appropriate teachers - They'll listen to a Sixth Former a darn site better than a year 7 or 8. Then your teachers need to be fired for incompetence. If a student can't talk to a teacher, that teacher doesn't deserve the job they have.

No offense taken, I debate, wether you agree with me or not is a rather moot point. ;) And you got the basic idea, but, If I were to post pornography (adult entertainment) yes, I expect it to be locked/deleted. If I want to start a discussion as to why circumcision isn't worth it, without posting any offensive material, it gets locked. Why? Why is posting about school shootings, death, less inappropriate than our sexual health? Or even health in general?

You show the results of drunk driving. Nothing happens, people still do it. You show the results of drugs. Nothing happens, people still do it. Violence is the same way. This is societies fault because kids can watch all these 'action' movies filled with violence. Ironically, they can't watch a pair of breasts, because, you know, someone naked is far more traumatic than someone getting his head blown off. This forum is a perfect example. We can't discuss circumcision. We can't discuss our sexual health which any 13+ year old SHOULD know by now, but some guy can post pictures of his calf blown off, why?!

Unfortunately, no. Why? We don't teach our kids to be open about this stuff.

Or, *gasp* tell someone that they're being bullied! Oh my god, I'm a genius! Not quite. Other children would lable that student as a "tattle" which will discourage them from doing it in the future. Nothing says "leave me alone" like a swift jab to a pressure point. It hasn't stopped me from telling my teachers. If people can rise above their so called labels, then we wouldn't have a problem. Violence is never the answer. Manipulation is.

Any woman with a high sex drive is immediately a [bleep] or a [bleep]. It's much, much, much easier for a woman to say no than it is for a man. Get your facts straight. Agreed. It's much harder for a guy to control the sex instinct. Sometimes girls can be pressured by guys into having sex because they are emotionally attached and feel it is the only way to show affection or something. Some are [bleep], some just feel it is a way of showing affection. Obviously the girls were pressured or whatever. Maybe they could've been raped. I don't know. Hmm, I'm afraid I partially agree. Instead of it being much harder for a guy. It's much harder for an individual. Remember, it's not just the men who are the over-zealously horny ones. It varies from person to person. Hormones are no excuse to behave a certain way. I do agree about the emotional-attachement though. Many people, yes, even men, are guilt-tripped into sex. I said it before, sex is what you put into it. It can be empty and meaningless or something more fullfilling.
