I have a white phat and have never made over 1mil merchanting ever since I started playing rs. I have made my money primarily from selling drops I get from slayer and eventually selling whips from abyssal demons from when I hit lvl 85 slayer. It's not such a good money maker now since whip prices have dropped to 2mil or below. All I can say is just work hard and be dedicated to the task at hand.

I'm sticking to the spotted kebbits until 57 then I can do both the spotted and the dark. I might even see you there.

Use Full Guthans to heal unless you wanna use a lot of food and frequest trips to bank interrupting your training. Definitely use the black mask when possible. Keep in mind that some slayer monsters require the use of the nose pin, face mask or spiny helmet ( i might have missed something else). Training slayer is very good for combat training and also you get good drops for money. Good luck training slayer. I enjoy it a lot and my goal is to continue on to level 99.

Daggs under the lighthouse are pretty good for training melee.

Red Phat price has also dropped to around 200-205mil yesterday. Red Phats were selling for 225-230mil before this week. -
For me the easiest skill to get to level 99 is cooking. Just buy the raw lobs or sharks and head on to rogues den. Then sell everything you cook.

Thanks for the guide. I'll give it a go tonight when I get home. The quest cape is my fav cape.

Why would someone accept to be teled out when they are there to fight the brothers and possible get a nice reward at the end? :-k UMMM GEEE IDK.... maybe SO THEY DONT DIE? :ohnoes: :XD: \ think b4 u post plz I'm not sure if you've even fought the barrows brothers or not, but I've been there a lot of times and as long as you are prepared and your levels are high enough, it's very difficult to die there unless someone is distracting you or trying to tele you and thereby rendering you helpless to the brother which would be the main reason for dying. So why would someone want to be teled out when they don't ask to be teled out? The main topic of the thread is people doing "tele other" with the main purpose of killing the target and getting their stuff. I hope you can understand the topic.

I really don't care which skill it is as long as the cape matches full drag and red and white phat.

Any high lvls that refuse or cant get a fire cape?273 names!
aglips replied to antonwhy's topic in General Discussion
my RS name is Aglipoy. cb lvl 124. tried 1x, got to JAD and died after healers showed up. Takes too much time to get to JAD. I'm working on my other skills atm. might try again in a few months. -
melee = abyssal demons range = blue dragons over at taverly dungeon melee = hi alching in edge bank. fishing = fishing guild (where else?) WC = seers mage trees or my own yew trees
-
Unfortunately I high alched quite a few valuable items in my time. I high alched a whip, santa hat and guthans pl8. That's why I never have any nats, fire runes or lava staff equipped whenever I wear or store my phat, santa or D armor. And I make sure it says wear or store on the left top corner before I click on them. I think I've learned a very expensive lesson.

You also cant range all the monkeys on karamja. some will just laugh at you. The others you can range.

So you used to have a crystal bow that turned back into a crystal seed but were able to accidentally recharge it into a crystal shield. Very Interesting. Didn't know you could switch from bow to shield or vice versa. Anyway, equip the shield and go to the rock crabs and lets them all attack simultaneously. You won't be needing any of at the rock crabs and almost no chance of you dying there. That should degrade your shield quickly. Good luck.

You need to start the Death Plateau quest. You can buy the climbing boots from Tenzing for 12gp. Look up the quest guide to find out exactly where tenzing is.

I've only really killed the leeches for all my pouches (small, medium, large and giant). It usually took me around 10-30 minutes but drops are all random. So just be prepared and wear armor and bring some food.
-
Aren't Phats considered a "rare" item? Maybe you been santa's and mask prices don't increase faster....
-
Blue drags in taverly dungeon. very good xp and a blue d hide and d bone for every blue drag u kill. That's all I trained on after lvl 60 ranged.

I got my Red Phat by selling whips I get from Abyssal Demons drops. I'm close to trading it in + gp for a white Phat.

:( I left my stuff in my house & now it is gone!:(
aglips replied to sirsam99's topic in Help and Advice
Unfortunately your stuff is gone. If you were in build mode and dropped items on the ground then turned off build mode, you will get a warning that you will lose all the items you dropped. I got that message last night when I dropped all the noted tables I had then tried to tele out of the house. -
I 've only killed the leeches and have gotten a pouch in the first 15 minutes that I've been there. You just ran into a bit of bad luck there. I guess it also depends on how quickly you can kill a abyssal monster. The more you kill, the more chances you have of getting a pouch.

so far I've only used steel and iron nails and noticed better success with the steel nails. just my observation, no scientific studies done.
