  1. You can by the 'book cover' and put your pages in it until you complete the book. Right now I have 1 page of a god book I need, and as soon as I get a 2nd page - I'll buy the book cover so it goes back to taking up one bank space. My bank is always full (my friends can vouch for that  ) majority is taken up by farming and herblore items. I don't work just one skill at a time, so I have a little bit of everything. I think quest items should have an area of their own, like the box used in the Burgh de Rott quest where you put several items into the box - which only took up one space in your back pack. I've been tempted to drop the monkey greegrees many times, but I'm not going back through that mess to get a new one. Sometimes it takes Jagex a while to realize perhaps they should add that new key from a quest to the key ring (I dropped the Meiyerditch key the day I got it because you weren't able to put it on the key until later). Dropped the yak and jester outfit after I was done with quest, it would be nice to store in house instead of going back to the islands to get it but if I want it THAT BAD, then I will make that journey. I've had the freaky forester lederhosen for a year, I got a hat about two weeks ago - then the rollback happened and I lost the hat (along with other stuff I gained that day). So perhaps in 3 years I'll get full lederhosen. At least for zombie you can "prompt" that random by burying bones - that's what I did and I got full zombie and both emotes. I'm waiting for an RS "wallet" for all the forms of currency - ectotokens (yes I use them :P ), pieces of eight, castle war tickets, agility arena tickets, tokkul and so on. I thought the bolt pouch concept was neat - but then they put a limit of 200-250 bolts - I had thousands. And yes, proud packrat here - I like having some useless collections. It brings a smile to my face to see my burnt monkfish grinning at me
  2. TROUBLE BREWING Date: 2/17/2007 Saturday Time: 2 PM Pacific/ 5 PM Eastern / 10 PM GMT World: 104 Location: Trouble Brewing Mini Game on Mos LeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢Harmless RSN: Vhellcat Contact info: PM me on these forums please. To participate in this event, you will have to have completed the following quests: Zogre Flesh Eaters; Jungle Potion; Big Chompy Bird Hunting; Cabin Fever; Pirate's Treasure; Druidic Ritual; Rum Deal Talk to Bill Teach on the boat at Port Phasmatys Dock or if you already have a rum bottle from Honest Jimmy itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll teleport you directly to game area. If you havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t done Ghosts Ahoy, you will need to make sure you have 2 ectotokens to get INTO Port P. This is done by grinding bones, (bones, pot) and getting slime (buckets) and worshipping the ectofunctus ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ you will NEED your Ghostspeak Amulet to GET the ecto-tokens from the ghost disciples. No items in backpack. Recommended outfit: something light, boots of lightness & hunter capes help. No helmet/headgear. Wield best woodcutting hatchet you have. MÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢speak amulet optional. Make sure your bank has 1-2 free spots. There is a DEPOSIT chest there. I recommend having a charged glory (if not wearing MÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢speak ammy) or a ring of dueling equipped so you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have to walk past the jungle horrors and other creatures to the bank. RuneScape has a Knowledge Base Article on this mini game if you require more information. Hope to see you there!
  3. Have you played a game where people didn't have a CLUE what TEAMWORK was? I have, plenty of times. And it's frustrating. I'm all for defense where it doesn't rely on other people as much such as cutting down ropes. I do like the idea of the ballista requiring team work but good luck getting that to work. I agree the current catapult seems to be more dangerous to your own team then to the enemy. Since most people fire the catapult at ONE enemy but the catapult area is surrounded with your own team mates and causes damage to everyone nearby. Mostly your own people. I'm still waiting for something to be done about 'flag holding'. Good luck with the ideas!
  4. =D> Same with BEING hit... in a group of people which one of us got hit for 30?!?! Scramble to check your stat screen (hp) switch back, eat, etc... (At least in PC you have the damage counter, I see no point in arguing who got what hit :XD: ) So that's a yes, great idea to all who thought of it
  5. Actually, haven't you noticed the influx of lower levels on P2P? F2P is overcrowded and they realize the "best" spots are on P2P and they are joining members. I remember when I joined members it seemed the majority of low levels were around combat level 80, now I see level 3's everywhere I go. I don't think F2P should disappear, but not because of the economy. I just think that F2P is a marketing tool in hopes of enticing people to join members for more benefits: skills, quests, gear, etc... some players will never join members but then you have people like me who got bored on F2P and joined P2P
  6. I have the soundtrack... heh all very energetic party mood music \
  7. Sometimes you don't even have to kill cows, some people train mage and range and let the cowhide stay on the ground - free cowhide! I'm one of those, try to do it myself, I don't buy items that I can get/make myself. So I pick the flax and spin bowstrings which also benefits me  Good luck!
  8. I picked free plank respawns (there are some spots :-w ) and I then I got clay (crafting guild) and limestone (east of Varrock) making the fountain in my garden over and over. Now I just let Tears of Guthix (Juna) take care of Construction for me :D Good luck!
  9. I'm not sure if you're required to do the mini-quest first to receive the small pouch before getting pouches as drops. Did you do the Zammy Mage (in Varrock, southeast chapel) mini-quest? Once you do this mini quest you get small pouch from him, then try killing to get the others. Good luck!
  10. Many great ideas and comments. I would like to have the option to 'explain' why I reported the person. For example rule 1 covers more then just offensive language (covers spamming to flood the chat screen as well). Sometimes people try to get around the filter or use different languages and I'm not sure how many languages Jagex knows but if it's offensive and I understand it; no matter the language I would hope that I wouldn't get in trouble for reporting it (if they didn't understand it - it could turn on me and think I was abusing the reporting system) because Jagex wasn't aware it was offensive in a different language. I've seen people get around filters in a creative way and not everyone notices it (and no I won't tell you how :P ) so when I report someone I'd like to say: avoided filter by *doing this* I have gotten paranoid on reporting some offenses because I don't want it to 'backfire' on me if I didn't completely understand the offense OR if Jagex didn't understand WHY it was reported. Also where is the option to report offensive names? :-# *I don't understand why people feel the need to say: Reported - this usually creates an argument and then the person reporting the person who reported on him/her. I think people forget ABUSING the reporting system is ALSO an offense. No need to start an argument, report those who break the rules and keep making RS a good environment to game in
  11. I like the idea, I don't have a problem with having my map in another tab but it does get RISKY while in Wildy (where I always get lost :ohnoes: ) Also mentioned offhand was the dungeon maps, I think Jagex should allow us to have an atlas showing these areas we have been to. Good luck with this suggestion, very well put! =D>
  12. Thank you, I've also stated that somewhere (maybe just in my head  ) If I don't have public chat on, and if I don't have trade to accept trades from everyone, I shouldn't have to have you follow me around either. And yes I can try to shake you off my back but why should I waste time doing that when I didn't ask you to follow me in the first place :P
  13. I think this idea sounds neat! Especially the fact that the design is only visable to other players if YOU were the one who smithed the piece and wear it. =D>
  14. Wow such a hard question for me! I've been very fortunate to have some really good friends and I've gotten several items - all of which I appreciate and have sentimental value. From sea turtles (I can't get them and I like them!) to Dragon items. The best (according to other people) I got for free was a Guthan's spear while doing Barrows. The best (for a farming ninja such as myself  ) is when I get Spirit Tree seeds
  15. Hmm, I never knew you couldn't die at the Barbarian course once you reach a certain low HP and failing obstacles didn't do any more damage of course a random can kill you off #-o As for the agility pyramid question, I hope someone tests it out! I don't fail too often and if I do I heal and never reach a low HP level. MrDg, you must be lucky! I've been to the wildy course a few times and I have NEVER been alone! :ohnoes:
  16. I'm still reeling from the update where they changed the run option location and the emote interface changed. :P
  17. Contact was not a hard quest in my opinion. Lunar Diplomacy was harder (dream state jumping eletroshocking hurdles!) Juna does add some words of wisdom from time to time. I'm going to try and pay more attention 8-)
  18. Isn't this the case with many things? How about the "PC" generation who don't actually train the stats but use Pest Control points towards it. People who live at PC to get their combat stats up. I'm glad this is one less "power" train option =D> Or at least, making it a bit more of a pain to do. I understand that many may not like my old fashioned to training approach and that's fine
