The day RS2 came out. I logged on at school and transferred my items back to RSC within the hour. Then 8/3/05. When Runescape Classic died. F2P closed.

I side with you 110%. I pulled off 225-235 (forgot the actual #) dry runs. When the streak was over I got dharock's legs. I haven't done barrows in a while...that's tempting.

I think this makes it the...8th time starting this game again since it's been released. Stuff happens. I quit about 10 months ago. I'm back. As you can see, I quit at "1337", and damn construction made it 1338. I feel this is enough to make me have to play again to get to like 2000 or something. Point is I have time to blow in the evenings again. So. Client suggestions? Or are we not allowed to discuss any, in which case I have and always have used firefox to play. You can see my stats. I don't want to pk or stake. I just want NPC interaction. Because of that, I think I'll continue farming/slayer. Cool? Link me to some guides for either of the two. If you have any suggestions that you feel would fit my needs, feel free to state them. How's construction? Fun? Look forward to random encounters with ya'll in game.

Has anyone here passed the A+ exam yet? I'm taking it on September 17th and October 1st (hardware first, then software). I'm just lookin' for some studyin' tips.

Satellite internet is great IF you're in an area where cable can't reach. You'll get exceptionally faster speeds on satellite than you will with dial-up. The ONLY problem with satelite, ping wise and signal strength wise, is natural occurances. A thunderstorm can degrade the signal, and of course, the signal has to go through the atmosphere. Any natural situations, mainly clouds, going either from you to the satelite or the satellite to the ISP location, can degrade the signal. That's just me rambling about the ups and downs of satellite. Ping wise...I found this on a google search. "High ping times (1000 ms or more) are normal for satellite connections." Give it a try, if that's the only high-speed service available to you. If you can get either DSL or cable, though, go for one of those.

(That's just being a lame narc.) Your computer problem is most likely, as dragon said, in your RAM. Could you provide us with basic system info of your computer? (processor speed, RAM, OS, and manufacturer. That can all be found by right clicking my computer and hitting "properties") Here's a couple basic solutions, or at least good attempts at fixing this problem. A) Buy more RAM B) *This is if you have some kind of clue as to what you're doing* Go to start > run > type msconfig > go to the "startup" tab, and see what programs are starting up during the boot. If you find something that just isn't necessary (like a game launch program, such as Steam, used for all the Half-Life games) then uncheck it. C) You can always try a basic system clean up. Run a form of spyware remover. I recommend Lavasoft Adware Remover. This program can be found here. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Once you've run that basic spyware remover, if you really want to optimize your computer...try using Advanced System Optimizer. It's a nifty 30-day trial that can be deleted and reinstalled when you need it. Just run the basic checks provided with that program. It's rather user friendly. That can be found here. http://www.systweak.com/asov2/confirmdownload.asp Last but not least, a basic windows defrag (assuming you're running a windows machine) would be the last thing you do. I hope this can help you out. The things I suggested could always be too much for what you're trying to do, but who doesn't like an entire system cleanup every so often? That Crunch Killa guy that a couple people have mentioned, I found out about 8 months ago that he went to my school...just graduated. As for Goku Tiger... Killed him in my networking class the same day my friend told me about Crunch Killa going to my school. I give a lot of old pkers props...such as destroyer, who taught me how to pk. Fearthequeen was a good friend, and she thinks I'm hott too :P Who else...Ah, can't forget Aka Son and his legacy of characters. That dude's got good taste in music. I also give props to DSM. Whenever he'd end up owning me in the wild, just for the shear fact that I stayed and fought 1 on 1 when he was clearly 35 levels higher, he'd come give me my rune back. Good guy. I'll also never forget my pking inspirations...Nemsis and Devil KKC...Crusade = best pking movie. Ever. Also, my last call out goes to Partizan. He was 89 50 99 I believe when I met him. All I can remember is that I was a [cabbage] low level, and he helped me out and gave me a reason to pk. The one time I won't forget is when he came out into the wild to help rid 3 higher levels from killing me. He was pking in a santa hat + rune, and he only had about 10 lobs left, but still came out to beat the [cabbage] outa those autoers. All I remember is seeing a 30 then a 31 go down as I ran out, and I passed by his team mates going to help him out. It was hillarious. I guess the people who say "oh he was the best pker" or "she was the best pker" all say that because that person had some kind of e-impact on them in the game. It's more of a call out to old friends, other than who was the best.
