I think it depends on your method. If you are using Guthans, I would just get a kc of about 8. If you are slayer darting, get like 20. (Slayer dart means less runs/hour, and rune profit helps a lot)

also, if you have a chest, don't open it until you are out of the wildy. If it contains your reward, you can lose it all, as it counts as multiple items. If it's the chest, you'd only have 1 item.

the highest hunter exp/day on runemonkey.org is 2.2 million. So yeah, theoretically possible for 2 weeks...

I'd train at PC with a clan. Heart Unit, heart returns, Affliction are all good clans to join. They all have different lvl requirements.

It's profitable at any level (pretty much) but at lower lvls, you may make 20k an hour, while being able to nat craft for 250k an hour. EDIT: I said combat 100 because that lvl allows you to use guthans or verac well.
