High Alching.... it tends to pay for itself if you're alching the proper items. i.e. bows and dragon hides

I completely agree... your combat level is not necessarily a reliable indicator of how good a player you are. Ideally, I would like to be able to be able to choose between displaying combat level or total level... As for other skills, the capes of accomplishment are fine.

If speed... Then go for relatively easy to hit monsters such as Ogres in the Kings Training Grounds (they also drop the odd good seed) If profit... Then I'd suggest Blue Dragons in Taverly or Ogre City caves.

To add to my last post.... it's impossible to pick just three lol. I'd add Half Life (Team Fortress) & Unreal Tournament if I was allowed a top 5 lol.

It's just for formality sake really. Also, it covers any stat boosting gear that might get you through the door but won't do you any long term good for using the saw.

Hmm another couple... Music (the ability to create musical instruments lol... dumb I know) Morale (gives a combat boost, like prayer does can can be enhanced by musical instruments.

I was playing a lot of multiplayer browser based games about 6-7 years ago and was on the hunt for something new. I found http://www.mpog.com/ which had a great list. Most of the games I played before RS are gone now... like Planetarian and Imperial Conflict :(

Another World on the Amiga 500. Man I loved that series... Flashback was even better and took me much longer to complete. Recon I was about 11-12 when I completed Another World

I've heard the rollercoaster and zoo ones are the only ones worth looking at. Might download them if they become abandonware, but wouldn't touch them otherwise. Just too bad a rep'

I always recommend the highest level shortbow you can use at least until you're able to use the Crystal Bow. I usually recommend training against monsters that aren't too high a level (so that you'll hit often), such as Ogres and Trolls

The reason I don't balance my skills is, not because I'm a pure or anything, but to make good money on certain skills, they have to be quite a high level.

Most I've had is two also... dunno if three times is classed as a bug, since two would then be a bug and that happens quite often.

You can manage 1k nats per hour with singles (so that's 300k per hour or thereabouts). You can of course double that when and if you reach level 91 :)

The glories can be recharged for free in the Hero basement. Ideally you should about 28 of them.
