LOL sorry mate... gotta tell you the whole truth though. Perhaps I was just really unlucky. But I read other players posts on the official forums (on Monster forum). It seems that 1 in 20k is the average drop rate now.

Several years ago I was in a band and we obviously couldn't afford to copyright anything we made (really expensive) Anyway, we came up with a cool way that stands up in court. Make a CD of your stuff, then post it to yourself via Special Delivery in a container that is clearly sealed (the special recorded delivery stickers covering the seals). Because these are dated and timestamped, they are apparently valid as a means of authenticating original dates :) Hope that helps lol

Any trekkies out there? They've announced that they're going to be making Star Trek 11 and releasing it next Xmas (2008) Apparently it's the same guy that directs Lost and MI3. It's going to be about Kirk and Spock when they were young.... sounds a bit dull eh? LOL I just sold my entire stock of blood runes. If they do release the blood altar then prices will tumble. Better get rid of them while the price is still good.

I wonder what level the new slaying monster will be. There's been a rumour for a while that it'll be level 92-95 and drop a new dragon item (probably dragon boots). Hmmm, shame very very few of us will actually be able to attack a monster that high.

I think the only breakthrough recently was the introduction of pouches. It potentially double the amount of runes you carry therefore comes close to doubling the exp you earn per trip. Another improvement is the mass drops of talismen from certain high level monsters. For instance, I now have just under 1,000 water tally in my bank. I could use these up in less than two hours earning 30k exp (by combining with tiaras)

About 2 months ago I spent a total of 5 weeks in the Smoke Pits killing Dust Devils. In that time I killed 16,500 of them (I know this as I tracked my hitpoints) Notable Drops: 1 x Half Shield 1 x Dragon Spear 0 x Dragon Chains I'm told that the drop has been further reduced to 1 : 20,000

I would love to support this as I've been the victim of harrassment myself more than once. However, Jagex would need to at least double their staff to handle the number of extra abuse reports that they'd receive

I'd say lvl 95 mage would be more useful in terms of pking. But I find range harder to level, so I'd probably pick range for that reason

Just noticed something... is your character epotato? You'll need slaying level 55 so that you can use Slayer Dart. Very important.

In my opinion... magic already has enough content.

Willows are 12 gp each from the General store when many are in stock. So, that about 6400 gp for cost. The Lumbridge and Rimmington general stores usually have thousands in stock from the nearby cutters. Rimmington has plenty of space for a burn line just south of the village. What about luring at the Dagannoth Kings? I estimate that about 1 in 5 of my trips results in someone deliberatly trying to lure the Rex onto my party in an attempt to kill us and get our weapons. This is NOT clearly signposted, so would Jagex consider that against the rules? It's still luring right?

Hmm. Magic is the most important skill for Barrows, followed closely by Melee. Range isn't important. So i'd prioritise development of your magic and melee skills buddy.
