  1. lets face it. jagex needs to revamp the runescape interface. most importantly, we need a HUD on the top of the screen with a hp bar/monitor, and a prayer monitor. Also there should be a slide bar on the side of the skills list to make room for more.
  2. :!: :P THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THIS TIP.IT TIMES ARTICLE 8-)  :!: i must have ESP. I was actually just wondering about this. I didn't know much about official worlds, but i do know about the air crafting on world 16 and the trading on world 1. I was just thinking about posting to find out if anyone knew more worlds with special activities. Yes, tip.it needs to make a sticky about all the non combat companies so they're easier to find. plus, i just came up with the idea of worlds for people with certain total levels/combat lvls. i didnt realize this idea was already brought up and considered. Just a sidenote: world 1 is always full, so ores, trees, etc respawn much faster. Since most people are busy trading, the training spots arent very busy. So i use this world for faster mining, wcing, and some other skills
  3. what if for a limited time, jagex let a few more rares into the game, but not for noobs. for example, for one week only, everyone who beats the tzha'ar fight caves (while wearing a fire cape so they cant get it their first time) gets a christmas cracker. This kind of thing would lower the rare price, but not by much
  4. i wanna see some annoying rich guy sell all his rares, then go to world 1 and buy all the rune sets and high alch them. thats the kind of thing that messes up the "economy of runescape"
  5. i'm bumping this topic because my firemaking lvl is higher now and you people might take me seriously. Let me rephrase what i said, firemaking does have some use on p2p but still none on f2p, and i'm a f2per. However, i give it credit for being the easiest skill to train, it only took me an hour to get to my current lvl in firemaking and i have a great strategy. i just bought willows for 12 each in the lumby general store and lit them right there. Its much cheaper than buying from other players and much faster than cutting the logs yourself.
  6. at least jagex included a minimum price for runite armor. if the price of rune goes too low, people will just start high alching it, then the price will go back up with less supply
  7. even if shields cant attack, i still think that dragon armor and other high level armor should have specials
  8. i can see the point of this: if some weapons give a defense bonus, why cant armor give an attack bonus?
  9. cant they just put a scroll bar on the side of the skills list? Then they can add as many skills as they want.
  10. That makes sence, as the Fury is made from onyx, which can only be obtained from down there. true, it does make sense, but no one would spend the money to buy it anyway
  11. no, i think most of you guys missed the point. crab meat is eaten in 5 bites, but it isnt STACKABLE because you can still only restore 10 hp per inventory spot. Also, stackable food would be horrible for the wildy because it is eaten too slow and by the time you try to restore, youd be dead from most pkers. My point is that if you have enough "potato chips", you can stay in an agility dungeon, or pickpocket for a long time without going back to a bank, since these skills run the risk of some damage over time.
  12. thanks for the responses people! now... lets see if anyone can get this outfit together for some pics... 8-)
  13. if there was one set of equipment that only the richest, strongest scapers could wear, what would it be? my idea so far: cape:fire cape head: blue phat amulet: ammy of fury (or onyx necklace b/c its useless AND expensive) ring:ring of stone or berserker ring feet:infiniti boots hands:infiniti gloves legs:drag legs torso:drag chain shield:drag square weild:abysmal whip ranged: like 1 bil  rune brutal arrows thats all i can think of so far. i'll edit the rest with suggestions i call this set FULL ELITE edit: thanks for the suggestions, i can fill in the missing parts now
  14. ikraz66 replied to kiddioo's topic in Help and Advice
thats true, but for us mere mortals, you could try full initiate armor, rune mace, and holy/unholy symbol.
  15. thats a good point, it might be a good idea to ask jagex if that is bug abuse or not. i definitely dont want to get banned
  16. fine, its up to you, i cant get on the official forums anyway to stop you! (only PAYING members can do that :( )
  17. really? if i had the money, i'd buy them for 200 each! with 1 mil unfermented wines, a lvl 1 can max out his cooking exp (with 100% success of course)
  18. not really, bulk is at least 1k IMO. I did 100 once, took me over 2 hours in the phoenix gang hideout since i tried to do homework at the same time. ("tried" is the key word lol). BTW, I timed it and grapes spawn about every 30 seconds on a server with about 1000 people.
  19. The one click option would make it faster, but i'm still suggesting that it is faster if you can pickpocket without the menu at all. you would save half the clicks, pickpocket faster, and reduce your risk of carpal tunnel syndrome(a tragic side effect of playing runescape too long :( )
  20. i may have forgotten to mention, i never actually tried this in bulk, since i'm still a f2p player. :wall:
  21. i'm sure it's been suggested before, but there should be a type of stackable food (the way that runes or feathers are stacked). Obviously this might be such a big advantage that jagex wouldn't be inclined to allow it, however with certain restrictions, they should consider it. In order to keep it from causing unfair advantages, it should be a p2p only food, and obviously only restore 1 hp each. It should also be difficult to make, requiring a somewhat high cooking lvl and hard to find ingredients. Therefore, this food would have an expensive sale price. This would make it bad for combat training. Low level combat trainers wouldnt want to use it because of the hefty price, and high level trainers and pkers would find it too slow and impractical to restore health. It would, however, be a great feature for skills with a risk of small "injuries", such as thieving and agility. If you had enough of these, you could stay in some agility dungeons for hours without visiting a bank for more food. Or, you could use it to restore health between monsters. here are some ideas for a stackable food: 1) pemmican(or jerky)- take some raw bear meat, add spices and salt, then wait for it to dry in your inventory or bank. As it dries, it shrinks and becomes stackable, but loses some nutrients, and therefore only heals 1 hp each. If you fail, it might turn into spoiled bear meat instead.(pemmican would make bear meat much more valuble) 2) potato chips- use potato with knife to make sliced potato, then add olive oil (found in the shop in mort'ton). cook on a range. chips have a chance of burning. ------>an alternative would be "sacred chips", made with sacred olive oil from the shades of mort'ton mini quest. instead of restoring health, these would restore 1 prayer point each. (this is just a fun idea... but i dont think jagex would ever really make a "stackable" prayer restoring item)
  22. I'm not sure if this would work, i'm f2p and i only know about this skill from the guides. Anyway, i understand that to pickpocket, you need to right click and select "pickpocket" to avoid attacking. I wonder if it might be faster to pickpocket if you keep your combat lvl below the "victim's" then you would only need to left click to thieve.
  23. I think that wines are severely underrated! They give 11 hp each, are availible on f2p, can be made at a fairly low cooking lvl, and give an astonishing 200 cooking exp each. Plus, thanks to the culirinomancer's chest, they are extremely cheap and easy to make in bulk by member cooks. Wine also has some unique and not-well-known properties that make it by far the fastest exp in the game! :!: As you probably know, once you reach level 35 cooking, you can make unfermented wines by adding grapes to a jug of water. As far as i know, wine is the only food (at least in f2p) that doesnt require a range/fire. In ~30 seconds, the wine automatically ferments into [good]wine, or bad wine. You get 200 exp for each good wine, and your success rate increaces at a higher cooking lvl. One little known fact is that if you bank the unfermentedwine, then quickly note it, it can stay in this form indefinately! Then you can trade it in bulk to someone else, as long as you keep it noted! The reason that this method yields the fastest exp is that wine ferments all at once, in your bank, so if you were to buy, say 1k unfermented wine notes and bank them, and your success rate was 100%, then you would get 200k COOKING EXP. IN SECONDS!!! :!:  think about this: lobbies restore 12 hp each, only 1 more than wines, but require a high cooking and fishing lvl. Salmon restores 9 hp each, 2 less than wine, but takes more time. the standard price: lobbies are 200gp each, salmon is 75 each, and wines are..... only 5gp each :?: :?: !!!! I know that they reduce attack :? , but this isnt a problem for mages or rangers. fun fact: the general shop buy price for good wine, bad wine, and grapes is 0 gp, but unfermented wines sell for 5 gp another fun fact: you can even trade these unfermented wines to people with cooking lvls lower than 35 and they still get the exp (but the success rate is VERY low!) just a sidenote: if anyone knows the cooking lvl in which you stop making bad wines, i'd like to know for reference (and maybe it should be added to the cooking guide) EDIT: wow! i had no idea that this was some closely guarded secret. Sorry to anyone who cares for ruining your training method  .
  24. unless i'm mistaken, mining speed is not affected at all by mining lvl, only by the type of pickaxe that you use.
  25. ok, I don't know much about macroing programs, but i'm working on the assumption that most bots use at least some auto clicking in their coding, and that they use the mini map. Maybe they require the map to always point directly north. like i said before, Jagex can make it rotate slightly and ramdomly to throw that type of autoer off. maybe the mini map could also zoom in and out a little.
