on a f2p server, i just bought 700 str pots(3) for 600 ea. i know the standard price for str pots(4) is usually 1k ea, plus, if i combine them together, i can sell the extra vials. could this possibly be good merchanting in the end? and would i just be better off selling them as str pots(3)? i hope i dont lose money in this -.-

on f2p, fly fishing is muuuuuuuch faster than lob catching or harpooning. If you use barbarian village, its also close to a bank. you make more money fly fishing also imo because its easier to bank it.

...according to high alch price, not street price. No one say green phat. :roll: also, what's the best item to high alch for profit in f2p/p2p(similar question, not the same thing)?

i have a bunch of magic, def, and str ammies in my bank collecting dust, and the demand for them doesnt seem high. Is it generally better to high-alch them or sell them?

how about this: use gold jewelry with cut gems with hammer on anvil to add gems to gold jewelry. no need to melt it down.

lets say you can cut 1 willow every 4 seconds, including banking time(and it probably takes longer than this on average). that means it would take you 4,000,000 (4 mill):shock: seconds to cut 1 million oaks. that's the same as roughly 1111.1 hours, or 46.3 days straight. That would be days without eating, sleeping, or getting hand cramps, and certainly not hallucinating for lack of sleep :mrgreen:. Ok. lets be more realistic now. lets say you spend 5 SOLID hours per day doing nothing but wcing oaks (not including time that you are afk and miss some logs). If these conditions are true, you could complete your goal in 222.2 days. Somehow i doubt it would go this smoothly. If you sold all your oaks for 35 ea which is nearly impossible to do these days, you would make 35 mill gp. This isnt even enough for 2 santas! Although, it doesnt sound like you're doing this for money. do you STILL think you can do it? GOOD LUCK!!! :twisted:

i support both ideas a lot, and i actually thought about the left click attack change already (great minds DO think alike! \ ) only one problem though. Jagex doesnt like pures, and obviously they want to make it harder for people who limit their combat levels. This is the advantage of a higher combat level.

i disagree. god armor is decorative armor. it is also supposed to be the same price as normal rune armor. other players make the value higher only because they are willing to pay more. in addition, jagex would never change the stats for an existing armor, especially if f2p players can use it. a prayer bonus would certainly give god armors an unfair advantage in the wilderness. By the way, there's a reason that no one wears decorative armor in the wildy.

i do not support. if you could un-forge iron or steel, then you could buy a whole bunch of armor in a store, and turn it into bars. If you sold them, you would make a huge, unfair profit since the store price is much less than the street price. This would also KILL mining as a moneymaking skill. what we need is more demand for ores, not less. instead of melting gold jewelry, how about this? all jewelry should start out as gold, then you add the gems later.

i dont see why people actually use d axes for wcing, especially while afk. According to the knowlege base, they cut the same speed as a rune axe!

i should have been clearer in the first post. i was talking specifically about items that are worth a lot more than the store price. many weapons and armor, including rune, are cheaper or the same price when you buy from others.

you can actually buy these two items cheaper in the champs guild and the dwarven mines, respectivelly, for your information. Rune items are usually not worth buying in a gen store (unless they're trimmed :lol: )

and i have a solution to this problem as well: add a RATE LIMIT AIM has one, for instance, if you send too many messages in a short time, you are muted for about 1 min. This would prevent people for spamming the chat window too much.

yeah, but for those of us who cant type 100+ words per min, it would be a big help. We all know the chat system needs to be completely revamped. this is just a quick fix. plus, lots of people do it anyway with auto typers, which is against the rules and dangerous for their computer. So this would do more good than harm.

The lack of an in-game copy/paste feature has let many players to use auto typers to sell their items in crowded banks. I know the chat system stinks, but this feature would be a decent fix for busy places so that you can post more often and people can actually read what you are saying. The result would actually be less bank spamming since you can sell/buy what you want and leave the bank faster.

And did you manage to get it? Best item i ever saw was addy skirt(g). I couldnt click fast enough to get it though :oops: (world 1). I also saw someone who claimed that there were 150 santas in the gen store, but they weren't there :wall:

I could swear half the Scapers joined to annoy... i said i DARE you. not i BET you. and i am lvl 60 but my combat lvl on that sig is only based on my mage and range lvls, since the others didnt make the high scores.
