At the moment it just looks like a bad cut and paste job. The gnomes, for example, are really blurry. No magic wand tools here =; Fair enough if you cropped them yourself, I expected you to have just grabbed them from a site and slapped them on. First fake? Really it is just some cut-outs on an image. A good fake makes it look real, as if it were only one game.

Well, the colours weren't hugely different and you're hiding the centre of it behind the render. ;) You can still change the font in paint. Lower scan lines about ~5% more and brighten the signature, it's still way too dark. You haven't feathered your render either, it's so choppy in places and doesn't blend at all.

Just a little one. :) I tried to get the "border" to get the desktop items to sit on them, but it's too much work at the moment.

(Well you got d/c if you exited, not sure if it does that now.) From what I know, the only tip.iters who currently play it are me and Oy, who has introduced me to the magic of TAO. I'd recommend the orangey colour or a white/light blue. Render is choppy in places, feather it. Scan lines are too opaque, reduce their opacity to ~30%. Colour better (as mentioned above). Don't use a flat hue&sat layer. Better text, you've got lots of space yet use the smallest font possible. Background looks very unsaturated. Saturate it and possibly add a slight bit more contrast.

Both great games that I've played for hours, both actually very different from one another to. I doubt they'd make a new one, think how long ago 7k was made. I sure wish they made it abadonware though. :( I've only been able to find demos of it, which suck. Oh yes we do. They come in a small cylinder of paper, they're like softmints, but pastelly colours, pink, orange and so on. If you can't find any, try strong mints. Refreshers?
