Should I become a member?
I am wondering what the pros and cons are to being a member. Since this is the P2P board, I figure most everybody is a member. How much does the game really change when you become a P2P? Here are my stats. It would be great if I could get some feedback as to which stats I should level before becoming a member (since I don't play enough RS to become a member right now). Attack/Strength/Defence/HP - 52/53/51/52 Mining/Smithing/Crafting - 56/48/42 Fishing/Cooking - 58/55 Woodcutting/Firemaking - 41/40 Ranged/Magic/Prayer - 40/34/35

need help on how to make good money
If you're looking to level up while you make some money, than I suggest either mining coal or buying coal for 200gp and smithing it into steel bars (after mining the iron) then selling those for 600gp. If you don't want to improve your skills while you get rich, then I suggest the Air Crafting Company. They are on world 16 (a free world). What you must do is bring 25 un-noted essence to the air temple and trade with a person in either blue robes or black robes. When you trade with a blue-robed player, they will trade you 25 noted essence and 125 air runes. Should you choose to trade with a player in black robes, they will trade you the noted essence plus 2,500 gold. The idea is that the runner (you) can take the noted essence back to the bank and un-note it, then bring it back. I made 100k in just three days, then spent it on coal ore and made steel plates. I then bought nature runes and low-alched the plates. Hope this helps!

How can I make money?
Thanks guys for all your suggestions, but right after I posted this, I discovered the Air Company. I can now make enough money to purchase the coal I need to level my smithing. Still, if you have any other ideas, let me know!

How can I make money?
What is the fastest way for a F2P to make money? In the past I've tried catching lobbies and selling 1k of them for 100-150k, but that is VERY boring and time-consuming. Here are my stats; if anyone could assist me, it would be greatly appreciated. Attack 48 Strength 50 Defence 51 Ranged 40 Prayer 35 Magic 33 RuneCrafting 23 HitPoints 50 Crafting 42 Mining 55 Smithing 46 Fishing 56 Cooking 52 Firemaking 40 Woodcutting 41 I am willing to level up some of these stats (like mining) in order to make more money. I also prefer not to buy any of my supplies from other players. Thanks!

Skill Clubs~Would you get in?
You're right. It was a long starting post. But I think all these are great ideas. Put me on the supporters list!

F2p melee training: rune scimmy vs. baxe
Personally, I favour the scimmy, though it would probably come out to 6 of one, half-dozen of the other. My reasoning is this: as a lvl 58 warrior who trains on lvl 82 lesser demons, I need a fast weapon to counteract the speed of the demons. However, said fast weapon must also be able to dole out decent amounts of damage to monsters a few levels above myself. While a b-axe would certainly cover the damage part, it cannot match the attack rate of the demons; a dagger or short sword, while having the capacity to strike more than once for each attack the demons present, can not equal the lesser's damage without a greatly enhanced strength level (which I do not have). And I suppose the only reason I prefer the scimmy over the long sword: scimitars look so much cooler.

Dragon Slayer
I believe it is possible (though I have never tried it). I would imagine that mage is a good deal harder than melee or ranged, but I suppose with a decent magic lvl, killing Elvarg would indeed be possible.

F2P Have Nothing! Give Us Rights!
I agree with parts of both sides of the issue. I agree th F2P should have more things to do, but I also agree that, since we do not pay, we should not get as many rights as P2P. The only thing I really want (as a F2P player) is a couple more quests. I finished all of them and now have nothing useful and fun to do except PKing. I really don't care about another skill, because, quite frankly, "carpentry" just doesn't appeal to me that much.
