If he meant "Fluff ya" I think he would have typed it...a lot of people break rules constantly, it's hard to hold a conversation with out breaking a rule :P I wouldn't destroy this guys crown over one letter, but I'd deffinately send him a message and tell him to watch what he implies. Anyone else could have reported him imedietly for it

I was chatting to someone about the drop in ess price, and he said it was likely due to a lot of bots being banned, but then the supply would be low, so the price should rise... I've been buying ess for 5-15gp ea, and I've seen a lot of people shouting low prices lately. High alchemy should be a lot more profitable if prices keep dropping. However, I've found that the prices of food have almost doubled! Good for me :lol:

I think the rule is for very specific things like last name or town. Often players can guess where you live by what server you frequently visit or the times you play. I don't mind if a friend asks the country I live in, but when random strangers start asking for info, it's really annoying and I report them

As for past event items, you can buy them from players for ridiculous amounts of gold...

People often buy bones in large quantities for leveling prayer, and they burying them at bank so they can keep withdrawing more

The only way to make a random event occur faster is to do what ever it is that makes the event occur. For example: bury bones in large quantities for shade, mine faster rocks - therefor more rocks than usual - for golems, cut down weaker trees for tree spirits, etc.

for variety, I'd asume. But it didn't work :P You still see everyone walking around with the same weapon (generally scimmy in F2P)

Lol this is the way people "MPK" in games like ffxi where there is no PvP. Either lure you into monsters or drag aggresive monsters to you

Eh, picking up an item like that isn't greed. If it's just laying there, good luck getting it before someone else. If someone dies right in front of you and he drops and item like that, I'd want to track him down and return it.

I suspect he was trying to get me to swear, which is against the rules (not supposed to try to get people to break rules. But regardless, his offensive language was enough to get me reported. Oooh, now I get what you mean, forgive me, every time I report someone it is generally because of a scam, so the term kinda stuck in my head. Will edit

lol, I love scaring scammers away. A few minutes ago someone was talking to me about my stats while training. He asked to have my loot (hobgoblins drop runes) I said no, he claimed he would steal it all anyway and report me for item scamming (anyone else make the link here?! :? ) So I said "I'll bite you! Rawr!" and he went "!!!" and ran away... it was kinda funny

I'm not sure, I was really confused, so I reported it imedietly, hopefully they can see withdrawn items during offer, I asume they can. But it read on the second screen. And ya, either he was really good or really new to scamming cause... mithril armor?! come on... that's so cheap :roll:

I was in Varrock east bank and decided to try to sell off my old mithril armor (full set with square instead of kite shield). I'm the type of person that merchants hate :P I take low prices because I either don't care or don't know what the item is worth. So this guy offers me an addy simmy for my mithril outfit, and I'm thinking "I wanted gp.. but w/e, I have a friend who could use this" so I accept, and I see the addy scimmy in screen two, but then when I accept the trade, it's gone! I report imedietly and he runs off. I'm kinda crushed that I don't get to surprise my friend with a shiny new weapon, but it's no big deal. Then the guy comes back and says "thanks for the free mithril noob" and so I tell him "thanks for letting me report you", he freaks out and says "dam! you want the 10k for armor?" He sends a trade, offers me the full mithril and 4k.. heh.. I accept and he runs off. I can't exactly take back my report, and I don't feel bad about it. Because he attempted the scam in the first place, he deserved to be reported. I'm just glad I can resell the armor and buy my friend a weapon now :)
