  1. 75% of the time I have my public chat turned to friends...this always makes me scared that people are reporting me for being a bot.
  2. Recent situations I've had weren't because of being report-trigger-happy. Example1: I saw someone saying some really rude things in the middle of Varrock, and I honestly thought they were inexcusable, and reported immedietly. Then I discovered that someone else had told him to say those things for free armor. So really, the guy who was giving the free armor was breaking the rule (encouraging others to break rules) but I wasn't sure how to report that. Example 2: I walked into a bank to find many people yelling at a guy for trying to scam (he was claiming to be selling a frog token). I reported the mess and then he spewed out that he didn't know it wasn't tradable, and logged. Now, if he was telling the truth, then I reported him falsely, but he could very well have been lying to try to keep out of trouble.
  3. Generally interogation is the first step to take, right? But what about when you come across a rule-breaker in Runescape? If you find someone who is breaking a rule, it generally only takes you 2 seconds (4 if they have a long name) to report them, then sometimes inform them that they can kiss their pixel-butt goodbye. But sometimes...I feel bad, because after informing someone that they have been reported, they explain, and sometimes I may have been mistaken. Unfortunately I can't really take my report back. So...how do other people react? Do you think jumping to the report button imedietly is a good idea?
  4. Like it's been said before, some updates are there for the sake of updates. I personally think these guys are just nice to kill. For low levels to train, they can drop some decent stuff. Better than chickens.
  5. If you didn't get exp for making the item again, it would be pointless. Rather I think you wouldn't get exp for desmelting something. I know this isn't guild wars, I was just using the games as an example so you'd understand.. so I'd appreciate if people would stop flaming, it was just for discussion. I'll get it locked or deleted if people don't stop bothering me in game.
  6. Well, yes, it'd probably be 50% or less :P In FFXI I'd say you have 10% chance of success even if your really high level. In Guild Wars you always get something, but it is usually worth like 5gold :P So it would be like desmelting a steel plate and ending up getting 1 iron ore. I understand it'd make smithing 99 relatively easy compared to normal, but it'd still be useful for those annoying useless weapons you find.
  7. In other games I've played, it has been possible to destroy armor for materials. Examples: FFXI's "desynthing" refers to breaking down an object with a high chance of failure, and Guild Wars' "Salvage Kits" which you can use to salvage almost any item for different materials. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to resmelt armor into regular bars? This, of course, would not be profitable, but it would make leveling smithing less tedious. It would likely raise the price of armors, however, because people would have more use for them other than simply wearing them. This could be good or bad depending on if you're a buyer or seller :P I got the idea while leveling in the Ice Caves, and the pirates kept giving me useless iron and steel weapons. I would have liked to be able to smelt those weapons back into bars so I could gain smithing experience. I'm not suggesting this to Jagex, so don't flame me by saying they won't see it here. I just want people's input. :)
  8. .... you're kidding right? I'll get my log pics if you're serious, sarcasm doesn't really work online EDIT: Here's my log pic. Again, good luck competing
  9. I've retired from the easter event, happy egg hunting friends! I enjoyed others' pics too :D
  10. Umm.. ok, relax? He said he's killing lessers and wants a buddy, so would you take a level 3 to kill lessers with you? Doubtful.
  11. I'm retiring to work on goals that will actually get me somewhere. Good luck my fellow rabbits!
  12. Okay :) so shall our competition go "first to 1000"? or... "amount of eggs til end of event"?
  13. I always tell people I report them if they say something innappropriate, however calling someone a noob isn't against the rules (otherwise 95% of players would be banned). You likely will not get banned because Jagex can see the context and notice that you were in fact being sarcastic, and not actually asking for personaly information.
  14. 1. I'm in a tight spot financially, and I'm more comfortable with my accomplishments as a free member. 2. I did a few weeks ago, but my 50+ hour runescape addiction has settled a little, and I decided not to pay. 3. Likely not.
  15. Well, it's bad, but I suggest you edit the pic to block out the guy's name. It's against the rules cause it can turn into flaming.
  16. Cool pic :) I posted the suggestion for you: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=439314 Watch the thread I guess to see if the admin want people to send in pics
  17. Hehe, don't you love people who only care to read the first post? :P
  18. I was wondering that myself... I'm not sure they heal for anything. Maybe like 1 or 3 :P Although, if you examine them, it says "Best before 24th April" so keeping them probably wouldn't be a good idea. At first I thought that they would "melt" (ei disappear) on April 24th, but instead they might just give you an "Ick!" message if you eat them after easter. Maybe the blue egg will turn you into a zombie bunny after April 24th! :?
  19. I'll post something in the website suggestions area and put a link to this topic for reference. Unless someone has already done so.
  20. I'm sure if they posted that they were working on it and were accepting cropped images, people would help. Especially if they get their name put as at the bottom of the guide :P Uh-oh! school bell (tone rather). Will be home soon....
  21. Just consider this the "mini-fire-wave" spell
  22. Woot, our savior! Sorry to hear you lost your staff, is it hard to retrieve? Is it possible/do you have the other two staves? (to show us the other god spell animations)
  23. Aye, happy easter. Those smilies are all giggling in different order..they're oddly creepy
  24. Try standing on one side of a long fence or wall, like south of Varrock, heading to Lumbridge. The path will then be a lot longer than the regular "half-a-compass" league, so chances are you won't reach your target location before the emote is up
