  1. Yeah, it's good when you've got more experienced friends goading you into pushing your limits. I randomly discovered the game and knew no one when I started, though I've turned out all right. Now however, I have family and friends whom I've gotten hooked on the game; all of whom turn to me when they need a quick answer. My point is, though it may be daunting learning new things like merchanting, it always helps to have a friend who is good at it explaining i to you.
  2. Not horrible, just could do with some minor editing... Like deleting the poll. No deleting the poll wouldn't accomplish anything :shame:. However, I do agree that doing a variety of things would of been an intelligent option :wall:. BTW, Merchanting all the way baby!
  3. It's insane how well though out this is. Mayhaps you should insist Jagex gives you a job. With people like you behind the wheel on updates, things would go a lot smoother in-game.
  4. Wow, that would look hillarious. A good idea, but it would look so...not right. Maybe make 'Mage's Sheilds'. Have them come in the varietys like staffs, but also work like a sheild.
  5. As cool as that sounds, think of the possible abuse to this. Say you're mining, and beating a noob to all the ore. Then they'd start firing these warnings at you, to distract you, and get the ore you've worked so hard to mine. A good suggestion, but it needs substantial tweeking.
  6. Um...I'm not sure I understand what it is that you mean...
  7. Um...I can see the chaos this would cause...you think it's bad enough now that the people who get sucked into RuneScape and have no lives are always walking around saying 'Lokkin 4 BF/GF', well, things would be 100 times worse...and of course the marriges would take place at alters, so have fun getting a noob-free rejuvination on your PrayerPoints. Honestly, that has got to be without a doubt one of the worst ideas I've ever heard (an I'm goin easy here). RuneScape: Now with 100% promotion of you not having a real life. Batteries not included.
  8. Sounds like a good idea, except maybe have the different types (bronze through Dragon, stats reflecting the base mace). And, after a recent experiance with C Wars, I'd say this weapon seems almost perfect for that too...
  9. By 'pyrotechniks' do you mean Fire-Works, because I think the closest thing you would get to that in the days Jagex have chose to set RuneScape in would be a faulty cannon. Now, potentially there are better uses for the fire making skill...more evil ones perhaps. For instance, forest fires, burning down buildings, setting crops ablaze...very destructive things befitting an evil army (such as we are mounting). Ahem, anyway, other things could be used to, like making Bon-Fires. I can see that now....walking into west Varrock and there are 20-foot-tall four-square-wide fires everywhere. 10 trees = 1 Bon-Fire. Muwahahahaha... Yeah, I guess that fits the evil M.O. I'd like to see that skill adopt.
  10. I think there are a few good ideas on this, and it would not be hard to hybrid them. For instance, the fourth option labled 'Buy from Player' or what have you would be good, but instead of the shop being a seperate place/out of the bank/in your inventory, make it a seperate tab on the HUD. Almost like an inventory add-on, with all items stackable, and set prices on them. And, maybe have it start off as only being able to hold one, and pay gold to someone (maybe a bank teller) to upgrade the size of it. Each size upgrade costing progressivly more. And , of course, miners would love to do this to store extra ore, so possibly a limit should be put on it, like you must leave an item for sale atleast 24 hours before removing it, and it be mandatory for any item in the shop to have a price, and also that there be some way to keep the priced from being outrageous...maybe like no more then twice RS's estimated value of the item...Anyway, just spit-balling ideas, and I'll conclude with a shop would be a lovely way to sell items, the current system S:idea::idea::idea:S.
