  1. Yea, I was wondering about that when I tried to make a cake :?
  2. Good thing I got most of my training in already :D
  3. Just want to say...that is probably the best method if you're against a large group of clueless meleers (which does happen) but most other times it really just doesn't work very well. Yea, I spend most of my time in the less populated worlds where you don't see many Ancients or Rangers, just all Melee.
  4. All the more reason I spend more time on skills than you. :)
  5. Oh yea... Ummmm, still selling those 20 whips at 1M each? JK
  6. Well if you want to say that, I have around 1.8M more total XP than you. The main of that XP being in Melee based skills. Which I avoid training. From what I see, every single one of my non-melee based skills overrides yours. besides con(which is a moneypit) Joseph. Ok.. if you want to continue this flame war, I'll just exstinguish you ^_^ Hoopster211 Total Non Combat XP - 7,749,099 Ubel Zum End Total Non Combat XP - 6,496,653 In Conclusion, I have 1,252,446 more total Xp alloted into Non Combat skills. Have a nice day.
  7. Well if you want to say that, I have around 1.8M more total XP than you.
  8. First of all, edit your duplicate thread of this. But I hear running ess in world 66 compiles laws pretty fast, just bank at Draynor, Pest Control, or maybe your house in Rimmington.
  9. I'll come :) Time to dust off the ol' armor
  10. Wow, that's kind of like how Google does it, lol. Must of took you a while to do that, I like it.
  11. Also, thank you to ChewyShoe for explaining some of this to everyone else. He actually got me inspired to start merchanting and try to do what he can do. Was it though? I'm not convinced... Sure you got a good deal on the Santas buying for the price that you did. BUT other people were selling them for 12.5M and Santa's do regularly go for that price and occasionally more. so ok you made 500k, but you could have made an extra 1.2M if you'd have sold at market price of 12.5M. Further to this in your list of items that you sold the same is true: Full Rune sold for 180k - could have been sold for 200k (20k lost) Rune Scimmy sold for 20Ak - could have been sold for 25k (5k lost) 30K Airs sold for 450k (15ea) - could have been sold for 600k (150k lost) 100 Laws sold for 25k (250 ea) - could have been sold for 30k (5k lost) that's another 180k right there..... So total could have made an extra 1.4M.... Now I know that some might argue that it would have taken more time to sell at the top end of the price range - But surely that's what merchanters do??? There were a few reasons for this. For the law runes, it's difficult to find many people buying laws 300ea 100 at a time, so I decided it would be betetr to get rid of them quick. If you check the forums, World 1 Varrock, and World 2 Falador, almost no one buys air runes at 20GP each. Maybe if they need a specific amount and are willing to pay a larger price for it. And lastly, it would be better to sell the rune items at a loss of 25k then waiting there for 20 more minutes, with less knowledgable players offering 'corrupted items' (such as spinach rolls), and the many people scamming there. This kind of fits to "beggars can't be choosers."
  12. Merchanting is harder than you may think. It's not like there's just a store set up in the Falador park that you can buy stuff and sell them immediately back for a higher price. It's just as hard as going up to those rune rocks and mining the ores, it's just as hard as going to that KBD and killing him for those nice drops. First people were talking about how merchanting is easy and it's harder to gain levels and go do things like cut trees and kill monsters, then you come along and say it's the easiest thing, and you get high end items every trip, and 2M is something, if it wasn't, then you would bring 2M into the wild for traveling money. Just because you have your big 120M doesn't mean you can bash on me for my accomplishments. This is the opposite of what Arcticrunite said, first I'm a little show off wearing all the fancy items, and then I'm some little noob with a worthless 2M. You basically just said that all merchants spam noob prices, don't have any skills, and don't play in spirit of the game. In your view, merchanting is when you buy things at normal prices, and sell them extremely high, well it's not. It's when you study and look at the prices, make a prediction of when you think a certain item will go up, and you buy it at it's withdrawl. On the other hand, I have plenty of my skills leveled up, with 1349 overall level. I spend endless hours cutting that magic tree, I spend all those moments training at the shadow warriors, and I use my time to alch all of those longbows. I do exceed my goals in this game, and that's why I decide to move onto other things such as merchanting.
  13. My idea was mainly for melee, if I saw you coming with ancients, I'd either run away or just log out =P
  14. A good trick for when you have your own flag is that you run across the little island in the middle, and stand right next to the bridge, so anyone following you gets stuck across it. Then when they finally click you again, and come over to hit you, just run to the other side of the island and do it again, they should be stuck in the spot you just were, it really helps relieve damage with large groups on you.
  15. Oh, guess I misheard you, sry.
  16. He doesn't mean that. He means they should have a certain amount of posts. I think 20 would be enough.
  17. It might be a little difficult to get 50 Construction with only 20k.
  18. You have 20k? ...
  19. I had 28.1M right before the POH update, at like 24M now after 53 con. lvls and 4M loss from the update.
  20. You were a little naive with your choice of name... But welcome anyways.
  21. Anyone below 1M total XP.
  22. Honestly, I would go to some secluded place with a lower level following me, kill him to see if it actually works, and then go to world 12 and try to find my old friend that took my D sq when I lent it to him. I'd kill him, take whatever he had, and then just report the bug and leave it alone.
  23. Sry Double Post
  24. ... There's atleast 4 different places you could easily find this out: -RS Knowledge Base -Tip.it Construction Guide -Search Button -Ask a friend ingame EDIT:And your sig is messed up... you might wanna get to fixing that soon.
  25. The only thing that comes to mind of their advantages is that they can loot death piles from previously killed people.
