I had the impression that runetrack also updates the stats whenever you enter a username...it's like making a query. It's certainly work like that when I log out and enter my username. On topic: Elias has indeed gained attack, ranged and HP xp without slayer xp. He's most likely trying out monsters that he will camp after 200M ranged. Dark beasts are a possibility.

Rumours has it PETA is actively trying to make him stop his massacre, but without much success. He should become the first player to reach 3B XP inside 10 days. Coming milestones : 100M farming, 200M attack and 200M construction (9th and 10th) 2. Telmomarques : 2,87B xp. Inactive 3. Jdelacroix : 2,75Bxp (+16M). Still training smithing. farming and hunter, Jdelacroix also trained some slayer last week. Training slayer would certainly help Jd raise his slowest skills with effigies. He's still active and could come back especially since Skiller 703 seems inactive and Gertjaars will be thrown out in a couple weeks also.

I agree with Xensure that the term "contender" is thrown around a lot and sometimes with different meanings. I will be the first to admit I sometimes use the word concerning players that are outside the top 15 to identify them as future top 15'ers. I will also sometimes use that word to identify the players that I think are best placed to to actually get 200M in all skills. We also need to seperate current contenders (meaning players with high XP that are challenging either for rank 1 or less hours remaining) and future contenders (players with regular high XP gains, with relatively high XP - 1B+ and either lots of cash or high XP in slow skills). To be truly honest, at the moment, I don't see anyone under Tezz challenging the top 7 for a very long time. Kingduffy has picked up the pace and Kngkyle is coming in fast with buyables but they are 350M and 600M xp behind as of today. Dapledo is cruising under the radar with nearly 1B xp behind Tezz but with a very impressive low amount of hours remaining. This will really be an Elias-Suomi show for the next couple months unless.....well there are always surprises!

I've known Tezz longer than anyone that still plays RS, and I talk to him often. He doesn't like people knowing how rich he is, but I can confirm he's not even close to being over a few bil. He doesn't merch or accept donations, nor does he plan to, so don't expect any sudden jump in XP from him. Nice to know. Should we expect another non-buyable from him after hunter?

I dunno.. I still think the whole race to all 200m's is in fact hypothetical. It's not fact that all of the top players will continue playing long enough to get there. No one knows what tomorrow holds. If we can't hypothesize on this thread, where can we? Couldn't have said it better.

@ Brood Abyss I agree that long term it may be far fetched, but like I said, in a couple months I expect the top 3 to be Elias, Tezz and Suomi and to have comparable XP.

Tezz has 200M slayer, all melees and HP at 200M, he may be lacking in other standard skills, but he could power through prayer, herblore and construction for an easy 500M inside 2 months and throw a wrench in everyone's predictions!

Whatever reasons Telmo had for quitting do not change the fact that he was and still is a very important player of RS with a major impact on a lot of players and highscore trackers. Whatever reasons he had to train hard won't matter in the end, what will matter is that he was # 1 in both XP and highscores and he will be remember as such. People on this thread may have their favorites and cheer for them, but some comments towards a player that is not an active member of this thread should be toned down. Back on-topic : This situation will end up breaking my prediction of a 3-way race between Elias-Telmo-Suomi, but I think Tezz will end up competing with them in a couple months if he unleash himself on some fast buyables.

Kingduffy reached 100M FM for his 8th skill above 100M. Elvis should become the 5th player to hit 2,6B xp later today or early tomorrow. Kngkyle is 42M xp away from entering the top 15.

Green098 has passed Gertjaars for rank 12. Kingduffy became the second player to achieve all skills over 30M. Can he be the first to 40M?

I wasn't very clear, I meant that Suomi will reach rank 3 by summer's end. He will still be somewhat far behind in XP, but he will definitely be in a 3 way race with Telmo and Elias.
