If we get a nice juicy lump of new rewards from the duel wielding dungeoneering update it will be justified. It will be clearly justified by the obviously large overkill amount of tokens saved after you hit 120. Also jagex is clearly showing its intent to improve visual appeal and game play ergonomics. Give them credit for their good work. There is always something to complain about, but at least showcase something positive.

Yeah I agree on the heads up thing. Its fine having the beta.

I think it's more aimed at dual wielding within Daemonheim, as that's something that they planned(?) but never got around to during the beta. If that's the case, I'm wondering how it will work with the bind system; if you need two free slots in your setup, that definitely limits its usefulness. I'm speaking more in terms of what isn't necessarily announced and could come, after all people have been wondering since EOC release why there hasn't been any chaotic magic duel wield items.

Yeah I'm excited for the charm collector. I'm also interested to know if the duel wielding will introduce chaotic wands and an offhand for it. As for instanced god wars... I saw that coming. I also called having a "heroic" version of bosses. You could probably bet that they'll drop better gear too.

For some reason I thought we had 5 totem spots earlier. Lmfao... Yeah I might do 4 telescopes first to knock out the scrolls then go to 4 jade statues. Besides its not like the jade and cherrywood won't come easily enough to replace the telescopes when I'm collecting scrolls.

I personally can't wait for their stance update coming. Ideally I hope this is something easily switched much like the old combat.

So I'm thinking 3 jade statues and 2 telescopes is the way to go now?

Yeah I feel you on that one. Though the only mask I do want is the mask of little kings because the helm looks awesome. The mask of the abyss would be nice to get my abyssal head just as I did for the mask of broken fingers.

Runescape 3 is coming this summer...(BTS Bonus edition)
Posts in the rest of the thread seem to suggest that most of the changes are going to be behind the scenes, so while the release might not change much, it means they'll be able to do a lot more with the game in the future. Yes that and the majority of what's being discussed is pure speculation on the potential of the updates. Though changing the world, even in just our perspective, is a huge, huge thing for the game. Players like me have been dreaming of the Edgeville attack by the dragonkin on a larger scale. Just imagine what it would look like after the next myreque quest. they stated they wanted to destroy a city in that one.

Well they fixed the issue, but no reimbursement was made.

Just quoted your post just to say this: Living is the means of fulfilling your life. Living entitles you find interests whether it be hobbies, entertainment, noble causes and work. Runescape falls under the entertainment aspect of living. I certainly hope there is something that everyone finds to suite their entertainment needs.

What's the number on port upgrades? 27? If so then just need the last workshop and warehouse upgrades. I'm working on the jade portal upgrade at the moment.

They put the 3 spins back, but wasn't reimbursed the 2-3 I never got.

Honestly I could care less about WASD, but more about rs getting off the grid. The biggest remnants of old-old runescape are the map drawings, grid layout, pathfinder and probably the old fungus model. I think that model still hasn't been replaced (long live the old RSC fungus!) I could easily see all of these (minus the fungus) getting reworked in rs3. We could end up with an actually overhead map much like the wiki pictures. Also I think jagex might downsize the grid (they stated it was possible to downsize it x10 its current size) to allow a lot more free movement. The path finder would be an interesting fix. If I saw just implementations of automatically maneuvering barriers except doors or gates that would be great.

Honestly I can't wait for the "dude GTFO me" comments to end when WASD movement comes (hopefully). Then again that might usher in the era of "FFS you are clipping with me!" I think I wouldn't mind Runescape adapting the phasing such as WoW. What's more enticing is the thought of what kind of phased areas we might get to see. What's more impressive is the phasing of not just scenery to interact with, but NPCs too.

Lmfao my exact thoughts. I suspect that people will team to get wands and offer tips to pay for help.

Got my crawling hand drop 5/100 kills into the mask. I forgive Jagex for gypping me out of a spin last night just because I got this. Now I just wish I got the mask of the abyss.

Runescape 3 is coming this summer...(BTS Bonus edition)
I'm in disagreement as this update is something of a cornerstone to the game. This is also not a one-off BTS as they stated there are going to be other releases for information. Though it might still be eclipsed by something such as when rs2 beta or EOC beta came its still monumental. I feel that hml5 gives us the potential for a lot of game breaking content as far as usability: - further map drawing and camera option. Finally we can feel the feel grandeur of the atmosphere at 3rd person view versus a glimmer full of haze. - "tear and share" - lets call it docking - for all windows, bars, etc. Now we might be able to finally center dock our chat, ability bars; or even critical align the buttons. - (likely) non-setting character stored material - meaning maybe many of the changes as such in the world will not rely on ghost-overlays. A great example is the All Fired Up hot air balloon docks not unlocked being shown as boulders. This is potentially the biggest issue they may be able to resolve is it greatly hinders the player from changing the game world outside of instances. This is a potentially massive update, but currently its potential is only seen as just that "potential." Give it, and this topic, the time to pan out.

Don't worry I'm on my way with all but sea singer bottom, tetsu legs and death lotus chest. After armor trade goods and pieces made I'm actively hunting scrimshaws. Currently 120+ bones saved too.
