I did put one on the plate voyage and that is why I pulled 27 plates. I plan on using a merchant for all of the 25/50 voyages, but if success rates are crap on the 5 voyages I'll just skip the merchant. If thats the case I might just make one of each of the totems then.

Yeah I can see how it is, but I like to think name/form should generally fit function. The function of ports in the end is to bring in some monetary gain as well as usable armour. Keeping in context with the function of ports, the jade statues are supposed to offer a small boost to trade goods. These goods are the 'essence' of that monetary gain. So the jade statues should fit to enhance the function and if not it should be patched. It would seem that it might be a bit before enough player base catches on and enough voices complain about this while 1% thing, but thats ok. Also here is my superior tetsu helm. Kind of excited to get 5 more chi globes and my 4th scroll for superior sea singer hood.

So back to what saradomin wizard was asking... Can you make the bar and shipwright purchases and switch between them or do you have them treated like separate upgrades?

1/4 jade statues bought and placed. I plan on getting all four totems as jade statues despite them being 1% mods at the moment. I am confident that they will get reworked to something like 5%.

Just sent out an 88% 25 plate voyage with FotS active. I have 14 plates so I'll be getting my superior tetsu helm in the morning. Edit: Also send an 85% for 25 chi globes with 10 banked. I'll be 5 short from sea singer helm and I also don't have the 4th scroll.

Inb4 someone else or I decide to recap on the auctioneer style of WoW. Personally I think the whole "staying in the know" for prices is great, but I think jagex should let us see what we are buying versus blindly throwing cash into the GE in hopes we hit a good mark.

I think having to replace things are fine as long as its not too frequent. Personally paying a upkeep of 5 fights for a recharge is more effective that them being completely destroyed, I feel the whole "destroy" theme very disfunctional.

I believe something with such longevity and work should not have pale mockeries made of itself. The issue stems from adaption of players and the constant evolution of the game. I don't blame people for being upset because seeing something change due to the newer generations interests puts the older generation at odds. The issue in the end, ultimately, will be if jagex wastes their time updating these 'splinter' servers. My thoughts and a good guesstimate, are that they simply will not update. If they do it might be on rare occasions such as when f2p gets updates or an odd patch. They cannot and almost definitely would not waste dev time on dead ends or for nostalgias sake unless there was potential to make money. The only way I see this occurring would be to generate revenue for the main game and its current interests by forcing current membership mug like RSC had in the past. I could also see certain things such as the old dragon claws costing runecoins or something to that effect (for those pvp servers). Maybe even paying for character resurrection?

They better not make these other servers... I'm sorry, but if you make a game then stick to the planand see it through. This is just a horrible stress-fracture from what I can see...

Honestly once things settle as far as progression in ports it wont be the warehouse costs that you'll be complaining about. I can already tell that its going to be finding crew/captain replacements and/or switching the shipwright or lodgings for those aficionados.

Just got commodore last night (1600 port score): I'm more of a fan of Cap'n though. So after all is said and done I'll be going back to that :D.

Gambling for tokens? If you can play card games for tokens, I'm sold. Considering they weren't exactly happy with selling floors to leeches (who are mostly looking or tokens now)... I would not be surprised.

Why even bother selling anything in months when they will be worth nothing :P ? Unlocked Ox today, hopefully will be able to hire 2 on rerolls (passed barmaid tip and adventurer resource voyage with merchants :D ). Having lots of issues to load the game :S , anyone else having this issue? May as well get some money due to Ports not seeming that useful for much after the armour. Scrimshaws are a nice bonus though. Meh... I'm sitting on a nice cash stack. I could also sell floors if I really needed it.

So I decided to calculate my waist to hip ratio and waist to height ratios. I bought this Men's Health book citing sources saying waist to hip ratios are better predictors of health (as far as visceral fat composition) than BMI. With that said my waist size is 34 in. and my hip size is 39 in. Divide waist/hip 0.871 and they advise that people aim for under 0.9. Also the book stated that a waist to height ratio was a good predictor of heart health. So I divided 34 in. by 71 in. and got 0.478. While numbers may be just numbers I'm generally pleased with where I sit. I feel that this tells me I have a decent composition despite what I might see in the mirror. This doesn't change the fact I might want surgery later on if muscle can't fill me out. But it does tell me that being over 180 is healthy. Even right now its a reassuring thing to have myself speak this out loud.

That's the general feeling of all mainstream pvm/pvp mantage or extremism videos. The techno/ electronic music and whacky custom cursors... All that to look cool. Or they genuinely enjoy the style of music they put in their videos? If I like hardstep, I'm not gonna put Taylor Swift in my video to please you. :P. Id put her on a hardcore ok vid just to taunt people... You still lose :P.
