  1. The easiest way is to take her down with blood fire blitz in gano. Using a shield might help, but isn't necessary. You honestly can't get easier than that. One useful tip is to stand kiddy corner directly to the left of the middle artifact. From here you have easy access to running to the left or right for the firewall gaps. When you get confident enough you'll learn to run halfway to the next artifact while casting. Also it might help to use soulsplit in conjunction with blood fire blitz.
  2. I'm betting player owned neighborhoods! Ad probably shops for 'friend-discounts'.
  3. I'm fine with closed betas. And honestly the KK would probably not be a good idea for closed beta, but it was just an example and nothing more. Honestly I think the prices for all of the weapons are fine, but I'm still a bit peeved that we haven't seen an on par crush weapon with the others.
  4. Street prices now?
  5. I meant the cherry wood rudder in terms of scythe voyages. During those voyages it knocks off nearly a quarter of the time (I don't give a rate rear what anyone says because as soon as I bought it my times dropped 43 minutes). Edit: Ouch Jeremy... Mildly funny, but I feel for you.
  6. Okay let me restate jagex isn't pretending that they can catch all of the bugs. They are doing to content testing what they did with moderating the community. They are putting the testing it in the players hands, those who purchased the silver/gold premium membership. While having open beta testing might be a much bigger expectation for players I think they will keep most of them closed to keep some surprise for the rest of the community. I would imagine not every piece of content will get thrown into the closed beta servers, but for the sake of the argument lets say one big update every 2-3 months? Ideally I would like to see the showcase one update a month for content testing, but you know that's probably a far cry for jagex.
  7. Edit: yeah the only rudder that should take priority at this point should be the cherry wood one. It's the one rudder that makes you hit the speed threshold for that area and get your scythe voyages times cut significantly. Because I am waiting on other 10k captains to roll in I've actually kept one trait voyage for opportunist on the docket. Currently I have a 10k combat, speed; 2.5k morale, seafaring and this other guy... I don't even know his spec he is so shitty I can't tell... I want to replace him with a 10k captain, but all I get enticed with are these crap wanna-be sailors.
  8. Kalphite king is going after one guy who's standing behind two other people blocking the kalphite king from being able to attack the person so he never actually hits anyone. Everyone attacks kalphite king with steel titans and maxed gear and the KK goes down in 45 seconds. So a tactic people used years ago at Barrows rears it head again? You'd think Jagex would know by now to give boss monsters the ability to knock people aside or walk through them. Still, good on players finding a technique that works. Seriously Jagex, you have beta servers set up, why not use it. Give some incentives to encourage players to try out beta every week such upto 10 spins, 200 runecoins or 1000 loyalty points after 3 hours of beta testing at particular areas every week. Oh, nope, they're big on the surprise update with the always occuring, soon to patch (hopefully) bug. Silver and gold premier club membership is for just that. I'm going to operate on the assumption that they are giving people enough time to sign up to get a member base for the closed beta tests I the year. I would also assume that the king was already in tests with their current test team which we all know isn't large enough to catch everything. On another note please, spare us. You know jagex can't possibly test content from every single angle. Besides the king is pretty much the beefed up offspring of hope devourer and runebound behemoth. He has a certain points of defense from style, has an AOE and knockback. The only issue is a slight oversight by jagex for not increasing his knockback effect so they can't completely use the hope devourer tactics. If I were you I'd expect a fix next update increasing his knockback.
  9. So ca someone explain what is going on in that vid? I don't got a good enough connection to stream it.
  10. Not too bad, I can easily hit duo 7400s on my voyages, which is >90%. Do you even crew? PS: Whoops, thought you were being sarcastic at first. My mistake. The duo was actually seafaring/combat. I just sent that one out at 87%. Annoyed I couldn't get higher because combat was the strong arm of the two and couldn't been manipulated the way I wanted. I got 40 minutes before my morale crew comes to port then ill sed that one too with a couple nation packs maybe. When they get back ill probably buy 4x cannon and then the last ram. Edit: I got 6/6 morale, 2/6 seafaring and 4/6 combat bowl crew I think. As you can see I'm lacking in finding seafaring crew.
  11. two 600 jade voyages... One 14k morale and the other 8k seafaring/moral. THANK YOU!
  12. Whats the street price on all three drygore mainhands right now?
  13. How are they underwhelming? Their defense rating should be at a much higher rate of stat increase.
  14. I would advise doing ape atoll until 70 (and further until 85 for advanced gnome course). Bring food or a knife to cut pineapples to heal from failures. Also hunter then is kind of blah, but going with red salamanders should suffice and pull in 70k an hour.
  15. Me and a buddy tested claws against dual cls's and they are about on par or maybe a bit better.
  16. I think you are right on the group techniques krampell. Though most are massing, but you might find some 5 man teams running. If i could venture a guess on change in tactics a staff would be much more efficient in a 5 man because you might be able to avoid his AOE more easily. After I get my chaotic claws I am going to see about finding a group of friends to take him down for a bit. Edit: Drygore rapier damage: 1102 Drygore longsword damage: 1102 Drygore mace damage: 864 Now... Chaotic maul damage: 1848 Do you see an issue here? I certainly do. I'm beginning to think the maces are geared for melee prayer users while war hammers are geared towards specifically melee. So when are we going to get us some high end war hammers?
  17. No death is imminent... I was wearing gano hood, poncho, leggings, cull gloves 10, asn, seers I, rage fires, comp cape, fks and master wand with torment, deflect range on and getting instant KOed when I couldn't get out of the AOE. Edit: I got a feeling people will need to switch between using resonance and reflect. Because one is a threshold it would be risky to use metamorphosis leaving you with one ability to protect you. Instead I think using asphyxiate and another threshold might be the only options if you want to play it safe.
  18. 2307 defense from comp cape... Wow. I'm not entirely sure how big that is in post-EOC terms, but I'm sure that the max defense rating was around 7500-8000 before this update. Also I am very interested in getting the drygore mace because we are seriously lacking in a one hand crush weapon. I suspect that this one might be the more expensive of them all. Also any word on what the exiled kalphite queen's unique drop is? I'm assuming the king drops all six items.
  19. I think the best method is blood fire blitzing the king, but honestly yeah the green/blue blob AOE seems to insta-KO like 5+ people all the time. My tactic here for this was to hit resonance and then preparation every chance I got. I guess you could use reflect as a backup if she tries using her AOE twice in a row. I wonder what effect using ice blitz has on the king? I would assume he is invulnerable to binds.
  20. Notice the barbarian notes update. Also the king is immensely fun, but death is imminent.
  21. Yaah... By the way after unlocking another region ever other region under that one gives you half the distance.
  22. Tetsu Legplate scroll 1/4: Yeah I think I might end up finishing tetsu armour just inside the bowl due to how long it takes to progress through it (even when you are sending 1-2 bowl or 1-2 scythe voyages). honestly though things have been getting kind of boring in the player-owned ports. I've got all the story lines caught up and I'm on the last set which might be the finale since they are the last zone story lines.
  23. I suppose strength then is what I'll aim for. My concern has been losing a lot of weight and not filling out though... I have baggage :P.
  24. I really don't see them putting loyalty rewards into the mainstream lore. Lets explore other avenues... I've seen some interesting theories posted on the RSOF.
  25. 11% into the bowl and caught up on story voyages. This means I get to spend my time doing high resource and scroll voyages for the next... two weeks? Also caved in completely and used up 5k cherry wood on this:
