  1. 11% into the bowl and caught up on story voyages. This means I get to spend my time doing high resource and scroll voyages for the next... two weeks? Also caved in completely and used up 5k cherry wood on this: I think the best way of managing ports from here on out is switching focus between the hook, scythe and bowl, specifically when you have one or two bowl voyages out. Honestly you'd be wasting a lot of voyage time otherwise. My reasons are you'll need that extra slate and cherry wood down the line to make/switch out totems, lodgings and captains. Then again Jagex logic says they are trying to get some deeper replay value here. I'm betting players will just roll with random crew rather than opting for upgrading an area to hunt for specifics.
  2. From mod mark on his Behind the Scenes: Behind the Scenes: Teaser for an upcoming update: "the gods will be hunting for the rarest of rarest butterflies." What does this mean? Maybe its a concept to what the quests overall storyline will be? After all he did have to think of it off the top of his head (or so it seems). I suppose it reminds me of how the gods each have an image that they want and how they plan to shape the world into a representation of that image.
  3. A good end game plan might actually be to stock slate and cherry wood for lodging/bar switches when hunting crew/captains to fill out your ship requirements (mostly for the captains really, though).
  4. Yeah I'm sitting on 5k cherry wood I can't use for anything except maybe totems?
  5. I caved and started buying 2/3 jade deck upgrades and a crew member. Guess ill keep plugging way until the pincers.
  6. I got a new response... Who cares any more?
  7. I think void is jagex biggest legacy issue ever. They should just make void level 40 and elite level 60. From there they could introduce higher "offensive" armors as drops and such from bosses.
  8. Renovated lodgings: Daredevil's Lodgings: I am currently 3k cherry wood and 6.7k jade from ship four. When you got 70k+ chimes like me its better to reroll.
  9. Renovated lodgings: Daredevil's Lodgings: I am currently 3k cherry wood and 6.7k jade from ship four.
  10. Going to have my daredevil and refurbished lodgings done in four hours. I'm pretty amazed I managed to get all the bamboo and slate for them. Now I just need to work on getting another 2.9k cherry wood for when I hit that 10k jade benchmark for the fourth ship. I might just buy all the jade upgrades I can because its so tempting...
  11. 29th story voyage out at 76% and another 600 jade voyage sent at 83% courtesy of my stocked rewards.
  12. Or like Mu with gems :P Socketing is meh... I think socketing should have a lot more with it. I mean gems are fine, but the whole potential with the pocket slot for trinkets, totems, luck charms, etc. is fine with me. What's got my mind hinged on a good 'randomizing' factor is seeing an enchanting-like skill come into play. Almost like how prayers are. Players have asked for prayers for skilling and other crap for ages... It's been a near-silent murmur, but the concept is genuine, interesting and very much merits some exploring. I wouldn't mind seeing tiered enchantments for weapons and armor. Maybe letting pieces carry more than one enchantment? Imagine enchantments like letting you apply 'steel skin'-like effects to your bandos chest plate and permanently binding it to your character. Of course maybe training this skill would involve creating the materials from drops and the larger hunks of xp would be either breaking an enchantment for another... Yada, yada, yada... Lets see if its the actual skills coming or something else.
  13. Hey there I've been on this health and fitness this for almost 7 maybe even 8 years now. Back in those days I was 294 pounds and currently I am 187.8 (lowest being 182.8 December 20th). I've been spending the last couple months working on my muscle gain and before that it was mostly an unorganized mess of trying to hit general areas of the body with interspersed cardio. Now I am we'll organized writing down exercises, reps and weight. I don't do much cardio except for maybe once a week. With all that said I am currently a 27 year-old male, 5' 11" weighing 187.8 currently. I'm wishing to get down to 175 and maybe even 170 if there is more to lose. I am fairly certain I could drop down to that weight, but I am also looking to fill out more as well. I am interested I yoga and might even take that up myself as well to help with other things going on. The big question so far is this: can someone help explain hypertrophy a bit more in understandable terms. I am interested in using it for both muscle building as well as strength building. One major concern was the rest times between sets when going for muscle building. I understand the the optimal repetition range for muscle building hypertrophy is 8-12. But again I'm not sure what the rest period between each set is and wether its very strict. Next I would also like to train dually for both muscle building and strength. I understand that the aim for this would be sticking to roughly under 6 repetitions. From a PT friend of mine he has been suggesting I do 4 weeks muscle building, 3 weeks strength, 3 weeks muscle building and 5 weeks strength. Opinions, comments, etc? Generally I'm interested I knowing is getting to 175 or even 170 possible? Why are the ideal rest times between strength and muscle building sets?
  14. If equipment wasn't so 'generic' a a random stat generator for gear would be fun and interesting. Why might be more suitable for runescape might be what maple story uses as refining. Basically an item can be reforged with slightly better stats. This process can be repeated several times with increasing chance of failure after a certain point.
  15. Success on my special and barmaids tip voyages for a whopping 1400 jade. I got a 120 jade voyage coming in that'll put me at 3250 jade or so.
  16. Office < warehouse < bar < shipwright = lodgings. The rest comes at the end mostly.
  17. Figured I'd get this picture here. Finished the tetsu laminar scroll: Next up is going to be the tetsu legplates. I'm also well on my way to ship #4 and getting the renovated and, right after, the daredevil lodgings. I sent out a barmaids tip for 800 jade at 78% and a special assassin voyage for 600 jade. I currently have 6.6k cherry wood and 1750 jade. I got a 500 cherry wood voyage too, that will be sent out because my focus on bamboo didn't pan out for the resources I wanted. So if things go well in the end I'll have 2.5k/3k bamboo, 1.3k/3k slate, 7.1k/10k cherry wood, and 3.1k/10k jade from my resource goals.
  18. I would advise getting all of your voyages out because it helps push you through each zone much more faster than just getting the best voyages done. You'll start noticing that you will have a large surplus of cherry wood at the end of the scythe and that's probably because jagex probably expected the player base to not be as determined to brute-force the potential for each days voyage allotment. You should be able to get out all of your cherry wood voyages in a day if you use a VNC (virtual network controller) with your smartphone while out doing things. I advise using Logmein as it it loads sections of the screen at a time rather than Teamviewer which tends to try loading the screen in a window-blind fashion. If you can't use a VNC then I believe your next best option would be to focus on a lesser resource area because you'll still receive your highest zone voyages quite frequently.
  19. Lmao nice jade pun. Yeah I would use up spare voyages on getting other resources. Honestly don't worry about focusing on places like the arc when you want jade too. I've been focusing on the arc to get 3k bamboo for the last two lodging upgrades and getting plenty of bowl voyages too. On another note I got my barmaids tip for 800 jade. It was a triple spec voyage and I sent it out at 78%. If my barmaids tip and special voyage both come back successful in the early morning I should have around 3100 jade saved. Also I need another 500 bamboo then ill focus on the hook for 1750 slate for both lodging upgrades.
  20. I hope my bare maids tip is good be right back to check it...
  21. Got another 600 jade voyage and sent out at 79%. Should be 1/4 the way to the fourth ship tonight.
  22. Try only using one or two after maxing. I think you get others to fill it plus better ones.
  23. In the bowl I go out around 70-90 percent.
  24. the scrolls or the actual armor?! if then armor then how? ~~~legoman187~~~ The scroll mate... Sorry I know everyone is dying to see pictures of it. Edit: Just successfully completed a 600 jade special voyage. 1500/10000 jade down. Working on 3k bamboo and 3k slate to finish up my lodging upgrades. You've already acquired all the crew? Im at 7/18 crewpeople from the bowl, then jade farming begins . Had 2 story missions today.. i really need to get 90 slay :P No I haven't yet but the crew is pretty efficient at the moment. I figured I'd get four ships first.
  25. I'm willing to bet jagex makes an instance for the harder version of the kalphite queen and label her their first 'legacy' boss. This will be similar to WoW raids and herioc versions of raids. This kq will have obviously better drops, but I'm betting she will have unique drops.
