No info gleaned for the fourth island other than requiring 140k miles traveled. The earliest you'll see it is probably in another 5 days since people will be gaining on average around 8-12% a day. I'm currently 50% through, but I have no doubt there is someone with close to 60%.

Just passed the chimera voyage and got him in one roll. I'm going to buy him when I get the deck upgrades. Currently at 42% and 11 voyages left. Also to note I'm at 749 port score. The next hypothetical title upgrade comes at 800.

If it scales that means priority should be deck > crew > ram/hull > port buildings > rudder

It's a reference to the edge of the world. On another note I've been giving a lot of thought to how the best crew load out would look like. My ideal current/end game set up would be something like this: 6x seafare 6x combat 6x morale 3x trader (trade for 2 more solidarity at end game) 2x solidarity Ill have one captain for morale, combat, and seafaring. Ill probably try for a fourth captain that is even ended.

I am in the same boat (pun intended). I keep getting low end slate, but mostly gunpowder. At least I can use it later so it's not a complete waste of my time.

Refitted workshop a couple days ago (bank plus area for crafting new armours). Spent some time in the skulls getting gunpowder to pay off the renovated shipwright (2% boost to ship stats). I'm also really close to buying the reffited lodgings (2% chance at better crew). After that I'm working on the referbished warehouse (5%+ chime, 10%+ bamboo, 5%+ slate for 1k slate, 600 bamboo) then renovated bar (3%+ better captain attraction, 2%+ adventure attraction). Should end the night around 25% into the hook.

Yep Jeremy thanks for jinxing me. Not that I need the scroll pieces just yet. I may have both the shipwright and lodging update tonight depending how my gunpowder missions go. After that I could concentrate on the cosmetic portal upgrade or continue on with the slate upgrades. I'm going to start posting all my upgrade pictures on my blog so expect to see them in the morning.

I think as far as progression goes you'll want 5 seafare, 5 combat, 5 morale, 2 product enhancers (i.e. Eastern overseer), 3 speed. Honestly depending on your interests numbers could really change between speed and product enhancers.

Yeah definitely come when we enter area four we will be needing the third ship. Has anyone considered what it might be like only having 3+ ships and not enough power to get 80%+ on all three if they are duo or trio spec voyages?

The game is quite messed up. The system should be - the combat related characters fight bosses for materials (dragon scales and whatever) and after that they trade them to skillers who make the armors and weapons. This way both the combat characters and the skillers would profit (a skiller wont be able to make an armor/weapon without the materials so he'll need a combat character to get them and vice versa - the combat character wont be able to make the armor on his own). Why can't both of them do it?
