  1. Its actually about 70k xp/hr, but thats with doing coal too when both main con gold nodes are down. Not bad... I'd say a week for 97-99 mining at my current pace and play time.
  2. Hummm... Well anyways another tip to add to your guide: When you notice a jadinko lined up with your trap is "hooked" onto your trap making it unable to notice any other traps nearby. You should give these traps higher priority over others, check and reset these traps as they are tying up your potential resources.

  6. Finally! 99 hunter... Not a bad cape being dark grey and light grey. Well... 12 days of assists and a troll invasion from hitting 99 herblore. I really realized that trying to buy that last herb xp just isn't worth it no matter how much I try to justify it. Sooo I guess now it's off to get 97-99 mining with my mining suit, friends d pick. Mining jujus and pack yak. I am hoping to hit 99 mining before 99 herblore. Once all this is done I'm thinking of attempting c2 fishing from 95-99 to save myself the hastle of dropping fish and wasting cash on bait.
  7. Kind of funny that you mentioned this. I submitted an idea to jagex about a skill Improvement to smithing that involves finding armor design drops. These designs could then be used to learn how to create different types of armor that offer better defensive, offensive and strength attributes.
  8. 98 hunter! The xp per hunter juju pot is roughly 34-35k which puts the xp/hr at about 204-210k (with just mask and top). Should have 99 hunter tonight if things go well throughout the day.
  9. Oh heck no!... Well I've thought about going for trimmed completionist cape down the road, but that's like a looooong way aways. I figure that will be something to keep me barely sucked into the game alongside the periodic new content.
  10. Well not agility any more... I enjoyed training it because it meant something in ok run-ins and was a huge factor. It's a bit repetitive for my liking, but RC is much, much worse keep in mind. That's if you craft nothing but double astrals, otherwise the two are neck in neck for most repetitious. You might as well buy a 6-pack of monsters, and Penance horn that bad boy. I drink too many of those damn things as it is. I'll pass on that advice :D. I drank like 3 today already.

  14. Would it be helpful information to say that from 90 with arctic bear the xp is about 150k an hour at draconic jadinkos with commons? As I've leveled I've noticed that the xp goes up steadily and I'm assumably going to get 34k xp per hunter xp every hunter juju potion. Probably old news, but an interesting tip nonetheless.
  15. Does anyone know the item kept on death gold value for both of these? Currently I've found that the high alch value to the max cape is 50k which makes it a 100k value, but what about the completionist cape?
  16. I could see that jagex would design a concept such as fighting old baddies and incorporating a supply table similar to troll invasion, but maybe it's a bank for equipment? Suppose the dominion tower warns you of your handicaps and boss dangers before entering the boss room and that table is a bank for stocking in between run-ins.
  17. Oh wow I just realized something... The forest above varrock used to be called the haunted forest or woods.

The second and third new pictures are taken in the wilderness. :smile: In this first picture there's a 'Level:12' message in the top left and the third picture is clearly next to red dragon isle. The haunted woods is IN the wilderness. The haunted woods is also close to the very top of the chaos altar which is level 12/13. Sorry, but you are wrong about the third picture. You can clearly tell its the area where the lessers are by the clan wars by the clan wars portal sign on the map and the two nature rune spawns on the island.
  19. One of the more interesting updates... There are three new media picture on the runescape website. From the looks of it we get a view of inside the dominion tower and you can see what looks like a zamorakian symbol, a rewards chest and the dominion towers face. The haunted woods is getting an update with looming guard statues and an arching entrance. You'll also notice that there are will-o-the-wisps flitting about. One of the more interesting images is of the area between the northern boarder of clan wars and the lesser demons is getting a graphical update as well.
  20. Surpising I've actually been wanting to ask this question myself. Right now I'm getting 99 hunter and am finishing up 550 farming juju pots and was curious how many torstol seeds I would need if I did them alongside trees and fruit trees to 99? Ballpark figures and educated guesses are welcome. P.s. Not trying to hijack this thread because I see a common interest.
  21. essentially this combined with countless hours of dev time wasted on them in the first place, imagine how many quests or other worthwhile content could have been added in place of citadels. But instead they devote their time to pointless citadels that no one really enjoys As far as amount of development time, use, popularity, anticipation, etc., MA has to be the biggest flop in RS history. Definitely agree. I think Jagex really needs to just come out of the closet and make a public statement stating that they always plan to release quality content, but due to the frequency of content; and the the frequency wont change, and wide range of content that Jagex will not be able to always release content up to par to the players expectations. Matter of fact... Thinking about it a bit I almost sure Jagex has at one point released a statement like this in the past. Sad I didn't take a picture of it.
  22. Both MA and citadels have a lot of potential, but the issue is that Jagex is under a lot of time constrain and putting out such a marvelous piece of content would crap on everything else. This is why runescape will always be the jack of all trades.
  23. Yeah l0rt I understand. I agree with you death. The one issue with citadels is functionality. Jagex went mostly for customization of looks with a side prize of decent xp for making a contribution and an xp booster ring. Since their release players have made heavy note of jagexs work on citadels and how they were a great contribution to the community. Along with that players made note that when it came actually making it a hub of clan socialization and interaction they failed to realize the importance of utilities like banks. The citadels lack majorly in utilities that would make it a place you'd stay to do things. Of course this has been patched with bank spots, but what about other smaller utilities such as a range, water source, etc. Note: this isn't my best explanation of what is lacking in citadels, but I hope you get where I was going with it.
  24. Consider it your own personal "no-update week" then if you are struggling to cope with this as a game update. We all arent going to like everything from a gaming company thats trying to cater to everyone. They are only human beings so they can't do everything perfect either... Except I think mod Chris...
  25. Nest drops, random noted herbs, high effigy rates, and fast kills... Oh and sol drops?... Yeah!
