  1. Do a bit of slayer and use it to get melee stats up. Also the tasks can get you some decent rewards and stuff to do. May not be the amount of cash you're looking for, but you get slayer exp, combat stat exp and some good drops. :
  2. I tried Shilo fishing again, forgot how boring it was... I'll take a look into the monk fishing and check it out. I just wish I could stick at one skill for some cash, not possible for me lol. :wall:
  3. Isn't cooking trout profitable? I checked yesterday and raw maximum was 31gp, while cooked minimum was 31gp.
  4. For defense bonus, get Torag's Platebody and Platelegs, relatively cheap and better defense than all the others. Although Guthan's is preferred for slaying.
  5. That amount of cash is basically gwd'ing. And you'd need stats in your 80's-90's.
  6. Stick with those two pieces, best cheap defense. For Slayer: Black Mask/Torags Plate/Torags Legs/Fury/Barrows Gloves/Dragon Boots/Obsidian Cape/Whip/Rune Defender.
  7. What kind of things would you be training on? As a good set up would be: Niezinot/Berserker helm Torag's Platebody Torag's Platelegs Dragon Gauntlets Dragon Boots Obsidian Cape The Barrows plate and legs only add up to about 200k every 15 hours, so if you make at least 17k/hour, you won't lose any money. Plus Torag's gives the best defense bonus out of all the sets.
  8. Buy lots of feathers and alch them? : Remember to mention how much cash you are willing to lose per alch. #-o But when the markets right, yew longs are quite good.
  9. Sorry, I must have made a mistake on the title , how silly of me to think that I needed help fishing when I actually wanted to runecraft. [/sarcasm] Are monks fast a 63 fishing, or still pretty slow?
  10. It depends on your levels and speed I guess, I was level 90 combat when doing it and using adamant armour (sometimes rune for fun, it hit's 13's. :ohnoes:)
  11. I just got full placeholder sets (seperate bank tabs) for: Runes Ore Wood Hunting Fish (Part) This includes item placeholders and all tools. That should keep me occupied. :
  12. Can fishing be compared to mining in the way of money and speed? Because 61-85 mining the fast way is 0gp (Powermining) While 61-85 fishing (random level) the fast way is around 50k per 1,000 fish (Shilo Village)
  13. We could work together, and make billions. : ...Or quit and die a lonely death.
  14. I will probably get bored straight away. #-o
  15. Not that bad for little effort. I just don't know if I can cope with mining for weeks (?) to get to that level.
  16. Sorry, I didn't mean the ore price, I meant what kind of cash you could expect from it if your world hopped the ore's for an hour or so.
  17. I did at one point do some granite trips (40-61) and kept a lot of it in my bank, which I used to junk some stuff (now all gone somehow) I'll look at mining, how good is the rune ore cash?
  18. *wish I kept my phat* Hmm.. What is a good way to get 85 mining and also what kind of money can I make from hunting?
  19. I did have a notion to mine till 85. I got bored within around 47 minutes. I know that coal to 85 will net me quite a few million, but I find it so boring. If I did have no cash, I would be motivated to do it though. :?
  20. By 'easy money' I mean one that has no high initial cost (fishing only needs feathers, rod and harpoon). 1) I have written up a plan that uses all my charms to their maximum efficiency. 2) I am at 56 prayer, all the cash will get me to 68 3) Currently at 42 construction, no house (demolished) - What use would it serve?
  21. It currently is invested in armour, yet I have no interested in fighting just now (even though that is what I am doing) and I would like to raise raw skills such as fishing up to a level in which I can earn easy money. Yet I lack the motivation to train this skill.
  22. I have just had an insane idea, which may prove good in the long run. It basically means selling everything I own and spending all the cash on skills such as prayer/magic/herblore/summoning. I am only doing this because i'm almost broke anyway (4M cash left :ohnoes:) Pros: A lot of money going towards skills I don't normally get up (prayer/summoning) \ The empty bank will force me to skill a lot for cash (fishing fastest?) It gives me a fresh new start. : Cons: I have absolutely nothing. #-o It might cause me to stop playing due to repetitiveness of skilling (again, fishing fastest?) So, is it a good idea?
  23. I know that 1k fish at Shilo (both) (un-cooked) will get you around 50-60k cash, but not sure if it is faster, since raw monks are about 7 times the price.
  24. Well as some people know, due to my bad luck etc. I am now almost completely broke, and I decided to make some money fishing, as I heard it's easy and quite profitable in the long run. My fishing level is at 63, I just want to know what levels are good to do what, amount of cash I can make between levels, estimated times and all that stuff. :wall: I was considering Shilo fishing 63-70 or 75, then doing monkfish for the money.
  25. yeah, I was short on cash at that point in time, and I'm not far off for 70 mage (not spending cash on runes though), so I thought I would alch for some exp.
