I have a Bgs and i like it. I've been playing lots of castle wars. and with just a Dragon battle axe spec and castle wars brace, I hit in the mid to high 40's. Btw im only 83 strenth. So, you would probably do alright with it, but not enjoy the full potential. If you want to borrow one for a couple duels, I'd lend you mine when im online. But not lending for hours.

I dont have a buniyip yet im only 63 summoning. So im going to go with guthans till i get one and test out the buniyip. As for the cannon, I don't want to use one as it would cut into my costs for doing slayer. I'd rather just melee my tasks and not worry about the costs of a cannon. Im only going for 85 slayer at the most. Most likely just 70-80.

I dont have any gear at the moment, so looks like imma go with guthans. Also is guthans even needed after i get 68 summon? Im nearly 64 summon atm so i should get that level after training slayer for abit. As for the fury I dont think i can afford it after i buy armour.

So far I've got Dfs Whip black mask dragon boots thats roughly 25.9m that leaves me 7100k, for armour, what are my best options for armour.

No need to worry about the sgs green, im like 25-30m off of even thinking of buying one of them.

But I'm looking for best gear so wouldn't the DFS be superior to the rune defender. Also, im not hurting for money so cost isn't a problem atm.

your dead set against dfs arent you toast :wall: I owned a bgs afew days ago but wasnt real impressed with the experience values it gave me. So i dont really want a god sword. Also I'm looking for a combination of the best experience and the most cost friendly gear. So I don't have to spend money on slayer, but make money ;) EDIT It sure did scare me from buying one. Now im really leaning towards dfs+whip

thanks for the replies guys. I'm leaning towards dfs for sure. Only thing im worried of about it is people reporting a bug with it disapearing. Is that just rumours or was that a real glitch.

K, so atm i've been fishing alot and I've came up with 33m. I want to go for 70-80 slayer as a side goal along with fishing so i wanted to know what things i should buy to get the best experience all around. I've been thinking of bandos armour, I've also thought of guthans with a dragon fire sheild and whip. I just can't decide on what to buy and how to train my slayer level most effectively.

8/10 Get the low level stats up to atleast 50, you'll be surprised at all the levels you gain doing that. 99 wcing and fming are nice also :

thanks jag, and 1800 is a goal of mine, prolly take abit as im only training fishing and magic as of late. Thanks for the rate, and I had been trainin slay for abit but it got boring, so i moved onto my fishing goal. I might take a break from magic and fishing and try to get 70-75 slayer as thats been a long term goal thats never been accomplished. Thanks :
