99 fletching and woodcutting seem to be good choices. They wouldn't take you very long if you went for those.

I haven't had a rate this thread since I dont know when. I usually try to only post worth while rates so I've held off a long time to bring you all this thread. I would like for you all to rate my stats and my bank, as well as my progression over these last 2-3 months. Make sure to compare my stats and bank from june to the bank and stats of july 29th and rate me on that progression also. Got this level afew months back, first time ive posted it on the forums. Only got it to 99 because I accually do use the skill. I've gotten close to 600k more xp after i got the level from me basically using the skill. [hide=99 fletching][/hide] This is my june bank picture and my stats from around the same time i got the level above. I put it in here for you all to see the progression i've made. [hide=June Bank and stats] [/hide] As you can see above my bank was pretty dry after losing guthans and my torso, so I decided to train farming and try to earn some money back. Here were my levels from that goal. [hide=Farming levels] I didnt screen shot 71-74 farm but I did screeny these ones. [/hide] I also got 77 and 78 farming but missed those screenies. Those levels were consecutive then i moved on to another goal after becoming bored of farming. The next goal of mine was to fish and invest my money in a santa hat. I had made about 6m from farming at that time and I had just enough to purchase a santa hat for 12m. I have to give credit to Th3 Crusader for mentioning the santa suite poll which gave me an incentive to buy one. I held on to that santa till about 3 days before they crashed and i sold for 17.3m a pair of gilded legs and a gilded skirt. At that time i had gone from 73-85 fishing and had racked in about 6m from those levels roughly. I started taking screenies at 85 so here those are.. [hide=Fishing levels] [/hide] After that I took a break from fishing to get these 2 levels. This craft level i got today. Now Below i will post a current stats picture and a current bank picture for you all to compare to the june bank and stats at the start of the thread. Now after compiling all this data and taking pictures and such I ask for you to please take the time to atleast give me a rate please. Also I would do with some constructive criticism about my upcoming goals. As of now my main goals are 99 fishing and 99 magic. Any suggestions on how to complete that would be much appreciated also. :thumbsup:

The workers use 75k a day so take 75k times 10 and thats 750k, now you always want to keep a minimum of 750k in the coffers to get maximum work out of the workers so add 750k to 750k and you have 1500k, now add 75k to be safe and put 1575k in the coffers. Make sure to keep your favor up also.

I see the same thing with the forum lately. To me its turned into /b/ and most of the rate this posts are of the same thing over and over, gwd drops.

lolz i was born in 1991 also. so i'm giving a 9/10 also, 3 99 stats isnt bad. ;)

it does look like a sailboat if you look at it sideways. I dont know if it will be this month, or the next but I see a new skill coming soon. It would fall inline with skills being every 6 months also.

if you want speed then willows, for money then do yews.

Maybe they bought their account and don't know what items to wear for the best stat bonuses. Or they could just be trying to not risk their good armour.

Looks like some sort of guide about boss monsters. Whats there to discuss? Maybe add details about each boss and create some discussion value.

Some of you have been talking like one side of the discussion is being put down. This is a two sided discussion, neither side is better. Last night, I bought 450k worth of dragon bones because killing dragons was making me nearly go insane. My balance of self-sufficiency and buying up skills is nearly balanced. Some skills I buy, others I an self-sufficient in.

The thing is, I'm not accusing you of not doing it the enjoying way you like. It is your preference which is more enjoyable. I know people who love buying skills and training them as fast as possible. Yet I know many who take their time. I, myself incorporate both aspects of self-sufficiency and buying up skills as I bought some pray levels and I bought all my construction levels. While I always have farmed for profit.

About that. When you're a newbie, levels come very easily, it just seems like each 5 minutes you can make new stuff and it's very exciting. You don't have to worry about exp rates or anything of the sort and just enjoy yourself. But when you get high level, that's when things start to become like work as you said. You need more and more exp exponentionally. There's a limit at how much fun you can have doing those repetitive actions. At which point, many people will just try to have fun completing goals since they cannot get any more fun from the skill itself. Since for instance, they get no more fun from fishing, they will just buy the fish and get 99 cooking, and they get enjoyment from completing their goal. It would really be great if we could really enjoy the skills we have as they are, but that isn't possible. When you've planted your first strawberries, ranarrs, trees, etc, well you've pretty much seen them all. When you've fished your first load of sharks, all the other ones after are going to be the same. All the excitement from the newbieness is gone. But it would help if ALL skills had good and interesting things to do at 90+, usually there isn't much to do after level 80. Someone has understood what i wanted out of the thread. :P I know people who love farming still at level 98 and farm everyday. I know people who have over 14m xp in certain skills, well just because they enjoy them. Not all skills end at 80. Some can still be enjoyable and used as a method to train other skills. Not all skills in runescape are the same though. So fishing and farming don't have to be the only examples.
