What article? If you're referring to Racheya's article all it is is an overview of the majority of tip.it's opinion on the wilderness returning. She worded it well and I'm glad to see she stayed somewhat unbiased.

The sig looks pretty terrible, the picture quality is terrible as well as the font. I also don't think having profanity in it is wise.

I leave this thread and come back to Call of Duty game development and coding in comparison to Jagex Coding. :mellow: I'm majoring in business with a concentration in computers and I've seen how much code goes into just one action such as running. All of a sudden everyone is an expert in programming and javascript, yet they don't even address the topic at hand, that being Banishing the Revenants! Back on topic, anyone got any feedback as to what happened at this event? Or are we going to continue talking about how jagex should code 6 updates a month rather than 3.

I've never been hacked but I'm sure if it happened I'd be interested in buying a dongle like WOW offers.

Has the event even been held yet? How do you guys know that they won't spawn rev's? Or are you guys just going by what others have said about the Community Events.

Jagex should just quit updating and trying to hold community events, then no one will have anything to [bleep] about.

Tried the party thing one more time for old times sake.. I probably will just get 99's alone now since it didn't seem as fun as it was years ago.

I don't really rush slayer, it seems more fun to just do a few tasks when you get bored. I sometimes get hooked to it and do it for a week then go back to casually slaying. I still cannon, use overloads, and turmoil on all tasks possible. The thought of doing slayer for 6+ hours strait irks me though. I suggest getting Rapier, enough gp for a stash of 10k+ cannonballs, extremes, and piety/turmoil with a nice stock of prayer potions before you get serious about slaying.

Revs suck to fight though, add in that people will be able to pk you in the dungeon and that the statues are probably going to be quite rare... True, but there will still be people willing to take the risk for the rewards that these rev's will offer. My point is that deflation won't be as crazy as some people are making it out to be.

Statues aren't being removed from the game, they're going to be dropped by Rev's in a pvp dungeon. I could understand the economy going into a deflation period if the big gp makers were actually being removed..
