  1. I'm currently running around ape atoll over and over so I can get a good level. Do I find it exciting and intriguing? No!, but getting the level brings joy to my inner being somehow.
  2. Stone is the little girl that says come in and make yourself at home and get cookies while i change.

    Thanks.
  4. I would be forced to go for a 120 skill if the capes looked that epic.
  5. Thus, is why I'm not getting involved in this discussion. You aren't exactly adding much to the discussion by posting then. Ontopic: Now the the quest has been released do you guys think the upgraded Void Armour is a must have for the average scaper?
  6. I fished longer, fun is subjective considering all gatherer skills follow the same basis. And reaching milestones is the reason I play so 99 fishing was a given.
  7. When you arrive at Stone's house Chris Hanson will be in his kitchen serving up cookies and milk to you.
  8. I've actually been training those, I got hunter to 80 and agility is nearly there also. I think if I pushed to 99 in both it would force me to retire runescape though lol.
  9. Life wud be boring, o and i still enjoy the game. When I cease to enjoy it I will take a break slash quit.
  10. I'm an undecided major student at the moment, but i'm taking some writing classes and even I could see problems with the article. If I was a professor of English at Yale it wouldn't matter, giving advice and critical criticism is not a bad thing. Nor does it require a B.A....
  11. You've made a number of claims about other people's knowledge of and ability to write, can you please explain to me what makes you eminently qualified to judge that? If you have a sample of your own writing that I can read, I would appreciate that as well. I would be willing to do the same for you if you like. Lol at you guys jumping Stone, you don't see me waltzing to the reviews section of a major newspaper, magazine, or any publisher and asking them for their credentials or previous work....
  12. Click based game means skills such as fishing differ little. I could compare fishing to any other gathering skill considering most you click fish spot, rock, tree, hunting area, ect over and over. While doing such things over and over might not be "fun" to some, the satisfaction of gaining levels is what makes it fun for me.
  13. Thanks for the clarifications Rach, but to be honest, what Stone wall did can only help writing skills. I sent him a paper of mine that I was writing for a College level class and he quickly pointed out my flaws. One thing I've learned from taking this course is peer review is the biggest impact on my writing skills thus far. Even my Professor hasn't provided as much insight as peers have. I do however think you are right about being overly critical and maybe two threads could be made? One for discussion and one for review? Not sure how that would work just throwing it out there.
  14. On topic: I just found another thread ranting about grammar and schematics which has some criticism towards the Editorial Panel and some responses also. I would suggest reading that if you want to see more opinions of the recent articles.
  15. Every time someone offers improvement to an article they get the "come write for us then if you think you're so good". Not everyone has the time to do such a thing . Yes, I see where you are coming from with all the critical comments about the article, but shouldn't the times expect that? It was discussed in the clan chat that I frequent that the majority of the chat enjoyed the times many years ago. They however began bashing the recent times. I really see no harm in discussing improvements upon the articles but that's just an opinion.
  16. Haven't you asked this question before? I would train dungeoneering to 85 and do frost dragons with a rapier that you get from the training. I did that and made like 35m in 4 days. I however burned myself out so yes it is a great alternative to bosses, but it is repetitive.

Still, you aren't as smart as you are pretending to be- if you haven't played efficiently for the last ~6 years, you'd have no idea what the efficient methods were back in the day. Firstly, pretending that being oldschool = lots of partyhats is a tragic logic. It's a myth. The people that still believe it likely still believe in Santa Claus. Secondly, having been one of the first 99 smiths wasn't a major advantage because of how bluerose achieved it. If you don't know the story, then you should read up on it, but the fact is, if you weren't first, you made almost nothing. Zezima didn't kill 49k blue dragons in rsc, it was in rs2, and actually, back then, it was the thing to do. Lilyuffie trained alot of her prayer levels there(99 prayer, the last classic skill 99 to be achieved) because of how ridiculously expensive prayer was(there was only burying). Ecto has never been efficient. Mentioning these methods, you are actually talking about efficiency. How? if you like something enough and can stick to it for the whole time, it is likely the efficient method for you, as you have to take enjoyment into account. Villandra is one of the most efficient people playing this game, she just has interesting goals. I doubt anyone can actually say that they enjoy smithing cannonballs, rather it's a burden you bear, and realistically, it can only be efficient if you hate runescape(as it's one of the most afk things in the game). There are loads more enjoyable and faster ways of achieving 99 smithing, thus why cannonballs are never mentioned. Golvellius, i don't actually think people are stupid because they aren't or don't try to be efficient, but rather because they don't understand efficiency or make stupid arguments about it(ie. fun > efficiency LLLLLL!!11). I think you are stupid because you fear coming out of the closet(and admit that you actually think before training a skill, thus rendering you efficient). So if i didnt play efficiently for 6 years im basically a noob who knows nothing. Man i feel for the people that have played eficiently and have maxed out in less than 6 years, what noobs right? Yeah you suck, go put your account up for rating in "flame this!" and I'll stop by and give you a good response.
  18. You heard right, I've been skilling. I want 2300 total so I'm working on my lower skills that I've always disliked. Need 85 hunter eventually, working on agility first before I advance with this. Working on this currently, 80 agility is my current goal as it will allow me to do the gnome adv. with pies and catch sapphire butterflies. Got 85 banked. Pretty boring to train but I'll get it done eventually. I also need to make about 30m for 81-85 crafting and that should also net me the effigies for 75 runecrafting. So i have plenty of goals in the works.

  20. Are you just arguing for the sake of argument? Stonewall was giving criticism, that isn't a bad thing. His "opinions" are to help Racheya's writing, even the best of articles can be criticized.
  21. Okay, seriously. I see your point and everything, but enough with the insults. Saying the author is wrong is one thing, but stating that author lacks logic skills is NOT the best way to show that you are expressing your opinion, however valid, POLITELY and CONSTRUCTIVELY, about the article. Sorry about that, annoyance showing through there. there is no right way nothing will change because the times is basically a circle jerk of friends who refuse to listen to criticism Racheya said she wanted constructive criticism a couple articles back and now we're dishing it out. It just seems people don't like criticism, part of that is telling the author things they don't want to hear. I actually agree with you though so maybe they will use the criticism to improve further articles.

Wallasalki's are located on waterbirth, you have to run up the mountain and go into the cave. Inside you go strait into the cave to the middle door support to find them. You'll need a friend to help you open the doors though.
  23. You would be using up a majority of your money if you did crafting without stealing creation tools. Herblore is always worth it, but if you melee it loses its luster. I would say don't worry about 99's and just get an assortment of your skills up.
