  1. Oh gee, here's me figuring you'd study in school and work when you're getting paid for it rather than texting. I feel so silly now. Thanks, mom. Because when I'm standing at a cash register for nine hours straight and when I'm sitting in a class at a public school for seven hours, there isn't a moment of free time. Quit being a moron.
  2. So wait... You're not allowed to talk on the phone, but you're allowed to rack up a bunch of text message during the same time? How come? ... Because I can hide when I'm text messaging and it doesn't involve me talking aloud. It's really not that hard to understand man.
  3. Haha, heck yeah! It basically says that we're awesome.
  4. Wouldn't that make them rusty? :? Are you being serious? That's why you wipe the water off.
  5. I have. Me too. Hey Striker, you're already wrong, again.
  6. Oooh, you think it's ugly?
  7. So are you agreeing with Poopingman?
  8. I guess it really depends on costs too. Say if it was costing you 25 cents a minute to make a call, but like 10 cents to make a text, you could possibly save money through text something short. Ya, I guess your right, it can be handy, but seriously.... why around 4k texts per month? In my defense, I pay only about $5 a month for unlimited text messaging. I text a whole lot while I'm at work (like right now) and during school when I'm not actually allowed to talk on the phone.
  9. Shame superman wasn't there to save the day this time eh! hahah. Sorry, that's horrible. oops :x Poor girl, hasn't got a leg to stand.... sorry! Couldn't resist! :wall: Hahhahahahha. :P My friend at work today asked me if I wanted to go ride Superman at Kentucky Kingdom. I almost lost it.
  10. Please explain to me how it's a "stupid way to communicate". Just because you suck at it doesn't mean it's hard to do. That's like saying typing and using the internet is a terrible way to communicate, until you learn how. Cause I found it extremely hard to try and make full words. Not to mention everyone I talked to didn't even spell their words fully, so some times I had to try and distinguish between all these short forms. Not to mention that if I want to say something, I mostly likely want a whole conversation, which makes texting a very slow way to communicate. Thus its better to just talk through the phone. I guess for you, but not for me at all. I can text very fast, almost as fast as I can type. So having entire conversations isn't bad at all. And it's not like every time you want to say something, you want to have a long chat. That's ridiculous. Like I said, once you get used to it, it's not bad at all and comes in very handy. Just like typing.

  12. I text a whole lot. My dad told me that I average about 4,000 a month. :P But I also talk on the phone a lot, so I really don't have much of an excuse besides boredom and wanting to talk to people.
  13. Article my brother wrote about it: Just like the iPod before it,the iPhone will live up to expectations Tomorrow thousands of people will flock to their nearest AT&T or Apple store, eagerly waiting to get their hands on Apple's newest toy - the iPhone. Since its announcement by Apple CEO Steve Jobs this past January, the hype has been building around the iPhone like it's the second coming. Electronics critics have been looking for any type of leak, or any type of spin they can put on the device that Apple refuses to let anyone test. Online magazines like Engadget, The Inquirer, and Slashdot have all scrambled to publish the tiniest bit of news every chance they get - hoping to score new readers off of such a popular story. The iPhone is the most anticipated product of the year - but will it flourish like the Wii, or plummet like the PlayStation 3, both of which had similar hype to them? Despite all the hype surrounding it, the PlayStation 3 failed miserably after its release, and the iPhone could do the same. There certainly are plenty of Apple fanboys out there, willing to buy anything with a luminous Apple logo on the back of it, but not enough to support a phone that costs a minimum of $500. Apple won't be able to rely on just its consumer base to carry the iPhone. The question, then, is whether or not the iPhone is as innovative as they want us to believe. When the iPod was announced in 2001, it was ridiculed for being so expensive. Just like critics have said of the iPhone, no one believed the iPod would be worth the money. So what happened? The iPod delivered innovation in a market that was scrambling for a winner - and the consumers ate it up. Just like the MP3 market of 2001, the smartphone industry is scrambling. Sure, the Blackberry appeals to the business type - those suit and ties who are sending hundreds of emails a day - but what about the regular people? We need a savior in the cell phone industry. It's easy to understand why the iPod took the MP3 industry by storm. It's simple, it's innovative - and it's sexy. Apple managed to create a product that was easier to use than anything that came before it, and they turned it into a fashion statement. But can they do that same with the iPhone? -Brett Nolan http://media.www.kykernel.com/media/sto ... 9704.shtml
  14. Washing bearings with a substance is a really bad idea. Go with cloth and water.
  15. It's alright. Not as good as the first, but way better than the second.
  16. We have it down in Kentucky. I think it made more people angry than it did happy. Odd. It's been in practise in Ireland for several years and something like 95% of Irish people think it's good. Upon saying that I get the feeling that smoking is a lot bigger in USA than Ireland, as the Irish, stereotypically, lean towards drinking a lot whereas there's tonnes of [bleep] brands from the USA. I'm not saying im right about any of that though, just my personal assumption. Yeah, that could have been it. I also think it made people mad because they banned it from all public places, which included cigar bars/pubs. Those places lost tons of business when it happened, which angered the general public. Personally, I don't really care.

  18. Well that's obvious. Most teens are too immature and ignorant to understand a wide variety of things. But that doesn't give people the right to say "teens can never be in love."
  19. I've been in love, and I might be in love. I'm only seventeen years-old. Just because it hasn't happened to you.. that doesn't mean it can't happen. After all, you wouldn't know.
