1. Live expense - $50/yr is a little cheaper than a brand new game, but it still adds up over the years. I've owned my 360 for a year and a half now so that's just a bit over $100 on online alone. Is being able to play multiplayer online worth that much? As far as I'm concerned, it's a decent price because Live still offers better online experience than PSN or w/e the Wii network is. But once the PSN catches up to Live, there's no way is it justifiable for Microsoft to charge us about $4 a month. 2. RROD - My first 360 died on me a few weeks after purchase. But since it had warranty, I got a replacement right after. It's been working fine for a year now. IMO, Microsoft has to offer a life-long warranty on these things because it's their fault that they released the console too early. 3. Cost of accessories - $100 for the wheel and $100 for the wifi adapter? that's outrageous. 360 is the only console which doesn't have wifi included and at this day and age, that's [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed. What was Microsoft thinking? Even the Wii has it. 4. Power supply - this thing is [bleep]ing huge. 5. the D-pad - 360's controller would've been the perfect controller if it wasn't for the d-pad. Honestly, the placement of the buttons, triggers, joysticks are perfect and the ergonomic shape of the controller is better than any other controller. The only other controllers that could be considered better would be the Gamecube's and the Dreamcast's.

It's not that Nintendo is catering to kids. It's just that they're catering to non-gamers. Mothers see this as a good thing, so they tend to prefer buying their kids Wii over 360 or PS3. Even though 360 gets flack for "children" on Live (which doesn't make sense because it's mostly guys in their 20s), I'll bet a month's pay that Wii has more child audience than any other console. Then you'll never understand. People don't say it's better, just more 'mature' Super Mario Bros. is a great series. It's the fact that Nintendo whored him out so much that irritates people.

Dude, sorry to tell you this but HD DVD died a long time ago. It's dead. No one publishes HD DVD movies anymore.

for the stats... I guess the Wii Fit is fine. From what it looks like though, you're better off working out for an hour at a gym a couple of days a week than spending an hour everyday with the Wii Fit.

i got two teeth pulled like 2 weeks ago, but they werent my wisdom. dont worry it doesnt hurt much, but i had to get 5 painful needles before they did it :wall: . the only bad part was slobbering everywhere after and the weird feeling of touching the empty space with your tongue! I have no problem with normal teeth lol... But I've seen my friends lose their wisdoms. Most couldn't eat properly for a day or two and one even had those puffy chipmunk cheeks because of the anesthesia.

Yeah, that's what you call this: An opinion. Resistance was one of the best games for the PS3, yes. But it's [cabbage] compared to other games. It has an overall metacritic score of 86. Pathetic compared to Halo 3, Mass Effect, GoW, and Bioshock (timed-exclusive, but was an exclusive still). Same goes for Motorstorm which scored worse. Oh, and cut the crap, Killzone 2 isn't coming out this year. You're no longer stating an opinion, you're just LYING. Or maybe you really did think it was coming out this year? Lol. If for him investing around $500 for MGS4 and LittleBigPlanet is worth it now, so be it. Let him spend his money. But if he's buying the console for those "future" games, then he should wait. Who knows, maybe if he buys one of the SKUs now, he'll get the again if Sony releases a new version or lowers the price.
