I started a campaign with ze germans. The only regret I have is that I chose the unit size as normal. There's only 12 berserks per unit. I'll go for the large units in my desktop (laptop can only handle so much). I'm glad the germans have the dogs. Funnest unit ever. One thing that pisses me off is that the units will retreat then unretreat more than once :evil:

Sit-ups are pretty useless. Do a thousand and them and they still won't do much for your abs (which people think they're targeting). Do crunches instead.

I always divide my army into two lines. Three at times when I put my archers in the middle. 6 units of Spartans last a very long time.

I dunno about Master Chief. An icon of the Xbox series, yeah. But people I know who has the game don't really care about Master Chief storyline. They just like the multiplayer. SSBM will be a classic. I don't think SSBB will be though. Besides, they're not done making the series yet even though they claimed SSBB was the last one. Oh well, as long as fanboys are happy that Nintendo's swimming in money.

It's easy to cancel out a flank though. Just remove the Spartans from the Phalanx formation, position them, and put them back. But yeah, I guess the German speed gives them an advantage over the hoplites.

I can confirm that it's total across your careers. Where do you guys find good weapons / armor? What's weird is that the guy in the Normandy actually had Spectre weapons :shock:

thanks for the tips, i'll bare those in mind :) is it easier or harder in combat, when your character's focus is mainly biotics? and i'm pretty sure i was the Vanguard class. not 100% sure though. It's a lot easier when you get to the higher levels because your powers recharge so much faster if you put them i nthe right talents. Just make sure you have at least one squadperson that can use a sniper and basically just support him until then.

You're gonna be relying on your teammates a lot until you get to higher level because your powers will still take a while to recharge. Like I said before, singularity is beautiful I'm gonna go Inflitrator one time to get the Sniper achievement. And you're right, soldier is boring. No biotic / tech powers is dull

Germanians have nothing on the Spartans. Those guys are built like a [bleep]ing tank. There's only one unit above them and that's the Urban Cohort. Their javelins are better than bullets. The pigs are the worst though. I remember playing the first time and saw it in the unit list and I'm like 'oh, that's cool" So I made a couple. In one of the battles I got to use it, I sent it out first and it fired up (now that's even cooler), but what happened was it turned around and destroyed my first line of hoplites. :? :lol: Yeah I know. But the thing is, RTW gives you the option for an RTS battle. I know some people (like indy) who don't like battling and just like the turn-based strategy part of the game.

Too bad he had to ruin his legacy like this. Shoulda stayed retired

Lol. Sometimes for fun, I just recruit a bunch of war dogs. One unit that can topple the wall/gate and let the dogs run through.

There's no war to be waged anymore, everyone seems set in their opinion which is sort of sad I suppose. All I will say is that some of the smartest people on this forum are known to dabble in soft drugs and hallucinogenics. What's funny is that some people don't realize smoking/alocohol is considered hard drugs, but it's okay because the gov't says it's legal I don't condone weeds and the like, but if people want to do it, let them. I'm pretty sure drunk drivers killed more people than druggies
