  7. I agree. Germany and Japan were extremely fortunate :)
  8. Now add the pop. of F2P people. Runescape is a FINE game. People don't want to invest $15 a month in a game they probably won't play everyday. Not everyone has time or as 'hardcore' as the other people. They're not in to be the best of the best. They're not the ones with 'gaming rigs.' They're not the ones with 10 MBps connection. RS is a GOOD alternative for them. If it still reaches the 100k users at a time, Jagex is doing a hell of a job. People ridicule it as a point, click, point game, but so what? I know people who get addicted to worse flash games - with barely any depth. What you might enjoy doesn't reflect to other people. Like I said earlier, for a FREE game, it's great because you can play it on any OS, on any browser, with a crappy computer and a crappy connection. That is the target market for JAGeX - and they're obviously succesful.
  9. Because the US is the lone superpower. The world literally watches the US step-by-step and exaggerates because of it. The US has much higher standards to reach compared to other countries. Who really gives a damn about countries that they don't live in? Do people care about the lack of rights the British citizens have about owning guns (which is being argued as the reason for the increase in crime)? Do people care about the lack of freedom of the press in France? Do people care about the problems with the prime minister in Australia? Do people care about Canada? Hell no.
  10. You don't understand it either. If they raise the minimum wage, people will lose jobs and product prices will increase.
  11. ... I don't know if I should feel sorry for you or laugh.
  12. We're just getting started  You're against adultery - I'm fine with that. But stoning to death? You're against homosexuality - Why can't gay people be together? They're still people You're against sex before marriage - might seem unethical, but it should depend on people whether they want to be pure when they meet the one they marry or not. Besides, some people don't even want to marry - should they be denied sex? If we kept this logic, we'd still be living in caves and hunting for food. Humans advance - develop over time. If we were to use this set of laws, based on something that is over a thousand of years old, then we'll stop advancing. It's not that we're just bashing Islam because it's not the 'West.' What? You don't think Western people don't criticize their own laws and government? There's so much more things to be done, and unfortunately, Islamic countries are lagging way behind.
  13. Oh wow gee wiz really! What else can you tell me?
  14. You're right, that's why I never even claimed that all of them are terrorists. Try reading next time.
  15. Are you saying we don't think men and women have equal rights? ---------------------------- And to people using this argument, stop it with the "it's not all Muslims, just some extremists" logic. We've seen what Muslims can do when they want to stand up for something. Do you remember? No? The Danish comic strip catastrophe. Thousands if not millions took arms around the world (especially in the West) against this. They were able to show the world they can stand up for something. Remember this. Now, Sept. 11 is the beginning of the downhill point for Islam. The media loved the bits about 'Muslims are terrorists' news and ran with it because people started listening. But have you seen a protest even close to the degree that the Muslims showed against those Muhammad strips? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't. We know Muslims can unite, but obviously, what the 'extremists' do for their religion is much less significant than some comic strips degrading their religion. Do Muslims really want us to believe only a small portion of their religion are extremists? If so, they're not trying - at all. If you know people who hate Islam, it's likely to be justified. And to the people saying 'religion' in general, tell me when was the last time Christianity had a problem to this degree. The Crusades? Sure, then you're comparing Islam to what Christianity was almost a millennium ago. And then we can agree that Islam doesn't belong in these modern times and should either step it up or stop existing.
  16. edit sorry

China's terrible to live in. Like I said in the other thread, horrible human rights they have.. And I wouldn't live in South Korea as long as North Korea has crazy leaders.
