  1. I'm not necessarily anti-gun. But allowing even nutjobs to a gun is just sad. Do you understand what your laws mean? Gun vendors can sell a gun without any background check.
  2. I'm pretty sure the reason we have these is wildlife, whether for hunting or defense. Semi-automatic guns (e.g. converted AKs) are legal. Overkill for wildlife, imo.
  3. The reason why it won't be banned is because USA is ran by lobbyists and the gun industry is huge. Can you imagine if Obama tried to shut down that industry with the economy as it is? He might as well just throw away his 2nd term. As for the armor and smoke grenade being illegal, I just googled "body armor purchase" and first result you can buy with any credit card. Lol bitcoin. Smoke grenades are also not illegal. People even use those for paintball. Either way, pretty sure the guns killed those people. Not a smoke grenade or an armor.
  4. I don't think he meant it that way because he just sampled the TDK shooter (who also got his guns within legal means).
  5. You don't need computer savvy to walk into a gun show and buy a gun on the spot. It's all legal.
  6. See now you're the one backtracking and saying things I didn't say. Count up to 10. Once you've calmed down maybe you'll realize my point all the way through. Gonna take another break from this thread. I can only handle so much insults and false statements in one day.
  7. http://forum.tip.it/topic/312305-360-vs-ps3/page__st__80#entry5274876 Comprehension is hard. I never said PC gaming was inferior. Just that it's not superior. Logic 101.
  8. Read the last two lines of the first post in this thread. I feel embarrassed for you :$ Like I said, your anger blinded you.
  9. Can you explain to me what is my position? I think you're the one confused. Alg there knows I'm not saying one is better than the other. I've reiterated this point over and over but some of you are so upset you just gloss over it. In fact, the only reason why I'm making this argument is because PC gamers here were so insecure about their hobby they felt the need to intrude in a console thread.
  10. Gaming rig + gaming laptop. You really don't know anyone who rocks that setup? Lol please don't let your ignorance cloud your judgment.
  11. Most people also own multiple PCs. What's your point? Once we go into multiple things then yeah, obviously. But in terms of a 1 PC vs 1 console, you honestly cannot say with a straight face the console will cost more. So ridiculous. A decent pair of "gaming" KB+M alone easily costs more than $100 also. Luxury items are expensive ;)
  12. Most people will still have to shell out $100 for Windows keys. And with Microsoft throwing a new version out every 4 years (gap between 7 and 8 is only 3 years btw), that's another constant cost that PC gamers have to pay for. If you're going to use discount as an argument let's throw in how consoles go on sale for $150-$200 (at least 360 did) during big sales events (e.g. Black Friday).
  13. This is probably going to devolve into a gun rights discussion. But honestly, people who are still defending guns, need to critically reassess their position. http://content.usato.../1#.UB6sKKCf4sc [spoiler=Article]Several people have been injured in a shooting incident at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., just south of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. Update at 1:25 p.m. ET: Two men have been admitted to Froedtert hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said. One is in critical condition in the surgical intensive care unit; the other has been sent to an operating room, CNN reports. Update at 1:23 p.m. ET: Fran McLaughlin, spokeswoman for the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, says a call came in at 10:26 a.m. CT. She says officers are at the scene but she has no other information to report, AP reports. Update at 1:13 p.m. ET: Two shooters are possibly still inside with children as hostages, according to someone who sent a text message to a Journal Sentinel reporter, the Journal-Sentinel reports. CNN is reporting that the shooter is at large. Update at 1:07 p.m. ET: Reports of 20 to 30 shot at Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, possible hostages, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. There are reports that the head priest was locked inside a restroom with a cell phone and said there were as many as 30 victims in temple, the Journal-Sentinel reports. As of about noon, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said it had not been called to the scene. Meanwhile, Brookfield police officers were dispatched to the Sikh Temple at 3675 N. Calhoun Road as a precaution in the aftermath of the Oak Creek shooting. At least three squads were at the temple in Waukesha County. Original post: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinelis reporting that multiple people, an undetermined number between 8 and 20, have been injured in a shooting incident at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., just south of Milwaukee. The shooting took place around 11 a.m. local time at the Sikh Temple, 7512 S. Howell Ave., in Oak Creek. Oak Creek police, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department and other law enforcement agencies have responded. Wisconsin gun laws: Rifles and Shotguns Permit to purchase rifles and shotguns? No. Registration of rifles and shotguns? No. Licensing of owners of rifles and shotguns? No. Permit to carry rifles and shotguns? No. Handguns Permit to purchase handgun? No.* Registration of handguns? No. Licensing of owners of handguns? No. Permit to carry handguns? No. http://crime.about.c.../gunlaws_wi.htm But yeah, guns keep you safe, etc.
  14. Nashville matches and thanks Philly for locking up Weber longterm without having to give up an NTC/NMC. Lol.

Saw it a 2nd time because my friend wanted to see it. For some reason I enjoyed it just as much the first time.
  16. I expected more after the hype with all those big names associated with it.
  17. Do you expect Wings to trade for a defenseman? I know a couple Wings fans who don't like the current blueline
  18. I've been permabanned... 3 times? I win
  19. It could happen. Radulov is making crazy money (9.2M/yr tax free) there. And I'd rather have Semin than Radulov.

Lol I actually liked it. I hate watching comedies in the theatre because very few are worth paying for. But this one felt like I watched a full movie, not an extended cut of an SNL skit.
  21. ...I'm pretty sure this post proves that you've been trolling, considering the last page or two of arguments seemed to be you vs the world. But I'm not though. My opinions might be unpopular but again this is a forum for a PC game. I wouldn't write those down if I didn't actually believe them. Was it the lan party joke? Damn. That's kinda sad lol.
  22. I'm not going to lie. I was sort of joking around when I started this thread, but then again I didn't realize how upset some people will get over this subject. This is probably the most pointless serious argument I've ever come across, lol. You know they're just games right? I think people got upset the most at my jib about LAN parties. Too funny.
  23. Condescension aside, the points that you brought up are not your typical player opinions. Calling cartoony graphics as lazy programming is not something you can justly criticize about a game if you can't base that opinion on something. Your average player does not have a good understanding of how games are actually coded and implemented and what determines if something is "intensive". Going back to your argument about Crysis, their marketing was fairly good. Everyone raved about how gorgeous the game looked and that itself carried itself into the minds of a lot of consumers. Where did they fail? They released the game ahead of its time. Few people had the hardware to adequately reach the maximum potential of the CryEngine. That, along with an overall fairly generic game with wonky enemy AI and awful vehicle mechanics, was a large part of Crysis's lacklustre performance. Crytek is used to this though. Almost the exact same thing happened with Far Cry. They seem to be less of a company that produces good games and more of one that produces top notch game engine. Curious that you would sought a need to edit a number of your posts. I wish you'd actually read thoroughly instead of just browsing through. If you read the link I just posted, you'd know that Crytek is focused now on F2P games. They just said they're not making "premium" games anymore e.g. Crysis or Far Cry. I know you've refused to do this the whole time, but try to read between the lines: they weren't making money making those games. They'd rather make lesser quality F2P games because they think it would make more money. And you just supported my point again. Crytek produced a top notch game and it tanked. While PCs do have the advantage of having superior technical details, it doesn't actually play out that way in real life. It's just some point PC gamers use to say "see? PC is better" while playing a game that could be played on a console. Also, can you veer away from trying to psychologically analyze me? It's kind of pathetic coming from a guy who writes about Runescape.
