friend just dug up a clue when he was supposed to do an emote
all my wat
-
so, are the attuned weapon crystals solely from fighting elves
-
while we're at it can we just integrate the glory features so that i don't have to keep swapping amulets
-
but i can't apply an ornament to it?
-
so, wait, there's both a trimmed and an ornamental fury now???
-
should it be tradable?
*thinks about how herblore habitat got thrown under the bus*
-
Add cleansing crystals as a ~1/200 reward from thieving all of the elf clans
aren't they already the rare drop of the hefin workers
that damn crystal wasted my time even when i got it free
as for jagex thinking that combination training methods are magically so advantageous that they should be nerfed into oblivion, see the long, long history of dead and unused content that is "balanced" and doesn't break the game
(because nobody uses it, [bleep]ing genius)
"what do you mean, training crafting by itself and just gaining money using easily accessible methods to players of that minimum skill level for elf city is actually faster and easier than harp dust"

light cores are a triple slap in the face, what with the shadow core drop rate, light core drop rate from shadow cores, and needing to have scrolls to access most of the effects you'd be summoning it for
they need to make them as annoyingly common as muspah spines for this amount of effort (besides, they use blue charms :P )

just another belief in a sea of beliefs about why their runescape would be better than other people's runescapes
at this point i would just welcome the year of silence and bring in some development that actually has a coherent, unified design that utilizes competence and actual experience with making games instead of trying to pick and choose individual aspects to create a hideous cape, if you don't mind me using that metaphor/reference to decry the "democratic approach" to critical components of the game that our money should really be paying people who have actually had experience with design, instead of spinning wheels and fattening investor wallets
Don't hate on my crystal spinning wheel... Even though it can't spin faster than you'd hoped.
when i first saw that thing i was wondering how they got it to work without it making a ear splitting screeching noise
or why it has gold leaf

wasn't really that big a secret, the click areas are really damn huge

even the giant rats will pick fights with you
-
i'm not really sure why they nerfed attuned crystal weapons to match chaotics if they're significantly harder to get
-
harping 8k harmonic dust is roughly 600k crafting exp, in the most tedious manner possible
and after that it still requires items that got pricejacked in the market
for tools that will never pay back what you used to make them and the time spent on them, a shining symbol of the double standard of skilling gear vs combat gear
jagex: we have no idea what endgame actually means, we just sort of go through the motions, make the numbers bigger and the number biggerers bigger and hope the players interpret this as good design
yes, playing and tuning a harp are related to crafting and construction, you're just not looking at it hard enough

bluh what jerk would make crystal shields a different seed from crystal weapons
-
*high fives self*
blood necklace is something you'd want in places where you can viably soul split
like, huntin yer glacors or muspahs
-
it'd be a 1 to 1 exchange anyway, so it would be identical to ganodermic's arrangement
the main reason they're doing it for this now is because it wouldn't make sense to get a recolor for a perishable object
side note: no explanation as to why the blood necklace can't be recharged in the infinite pool of blood under burgh de rott

I noticed that somebody in the tweets is commenting about afking monsters being an issue, but.....the reason why the poll is in a stalemate is because a large portion of the people wanting aggro is for that very reason...
-
the issue i see with making dragons aggressive now is that since they all have ranged attacks, it might be a bit more difficult to get past them on a world that isn't being aggressively farmed
-
if you're there, you're most likely traveling to rock crabs, which are aggressive ANYWAY
-
i kind of liked being able to get around in the smokey well without being constantly banshee'd though

since protean traps are only really useful at draconic jadinkos (which in of themselves are only optimal at very high levels), i think jagex considers anything at that point to be acceptable losses since ironman rolled out

people need more samaden seeds? i'm drowning in them

i don't get how their project management works anymore. are they hiring contractors or something? what's this about "commissioning" content? is this game just going to be one lopsided jigsaw puzzle now?
also lol at how all those skills that people voted for turned half of elf city into dead content
"well, we know the players want these skills represented because of various design reasons that players want to correct, but we can't give it to them because runescape is married to every single poor decision that has been made about it, so let's just let them choose it and then do absolutely nothing with it, it'll save us time and we can claim we did more work than what we actually planned"
"with this new polling system, this also allows us to entirely avoid responsibility for these poor design choices because we basically baited players into choosing them with the illusion that anybody in this process ever had free will"
