Well you could find a better tutorial, and one or two about creating 3d text, or using text effects... Add shadow or reflection, or a glassy translucent circular look... Like when you look through a glass ball in real life, you see the room behind it all distorted. And some shading on the lower half - there's a highlight - but no shadow.

You don't need to do any merging at all. Copy -> Paste in new layer -> Low opacity -> Duplicate -> >medium opacity -> Full opacity -> do some in reverse -> Copy -> Paste in new layer -> Etc. =z

You got it to work there, but everytime I try it doesn't work. :? :-&

I know infinite tutorials on this, and it doesn't really take much effort once you have that telling you what to do. There's not even any shadow/refleciton below, or shading on the bottom. It doesn't look that 3d, and the text makes it look less 3D. Not exactly impressed.

Well they could, but they don't as to set an example. Even so, I doubt they'd want to use a first timer when they have plenty of other great options. It's not bad for a first, but it's not amazing, and it doesn't look like it took much effort... Copy, Paste, Type.

It's choppy, and I don't think there's a way to change the size with animation. I just created my own avvy, animated, Gif, and within the limits.

Quick work - 20 mins or so - stand in till Fegan pulls out something excellent which I'm sure he will. EDIT: Venomai's owned it before it was even posted. XD

Well it would look as though the person is trying to make babies with the sheep. Maybe they find the idea of Sheep and People creating Super-Sheep incriminating, and a possible threat to the world. Can I get a 'Super-sheep took over the world!!! ARRRGH!!!!'? If the mods removed it they have good reason, and you shouldn't repost it.

Anyone can write tutorials, but it's even better if you can post them here, get them linked to, and help many other members. :)

Yeh I know that, but the hair, and the chin is a little flat. You fixed the hair though, but still a little too pale red IMO. Not Emo. Isn't looking to bad, but not best choice of colours, methinks, not sure why though. =\
