Well idk about HG/SS, but in Crystal version, the Battle Tower went up in increments of 10 levels (level 10, 20, 30, etc.), so it wouldn't be that hard to get a team together.

A little unclear, your cannon's max is set at 300 at it cannot be increased. Your focus sight can help you hit higher more often AND helps you hit less 0s. But nothing can make your cannon's max higher.

Using normal prayer, Wolpertinger lasts fine. You just need food for aggression, but after that, EE and food drops will cover your hp. Soul Split is not required.

Why would you want to use prayer here? :blink: Here's how I figure it: 1) You stated that the Mask of Dragith Nurn is useful by recommending it 2) That Mask gives +1 to all attack bonuses 3) If you bothered mentioning it, that means it must have some significant effect, no matter how small 4) Thus +1 to all attack bonuses makes a significant effect 5) If increasing attack bonus makes a significant effect, using attack-boosting prayers must make a significant effect 6) If using prayers makes a significant effect, and Monk Robes makes your prayer last longer, then Monk Robes must have a significant effect You could also boost strength if your max hit is not equal to the max hp of the corpse mage.

Wear Monk Robes, then, do you can use prayers for longer.

Leech drains faster than eagle eye, or the other way around? I'm wondering the same.

Shed Shell, I think, is the only condition you can avoid Shadow Tag. Arena Trap is a similar ability, but if the Pokemon is immune to ground attacks, it is unaffected by Arena Trap (unless Gravity is in play), which is why Dugtrio and Trapinch along with their bad stats) aren't banned. I remember doing an Explosion attack on one of the many Pokemon games (Can't remember if it was Stadium or Blue...) and I ended up losing even though we were both on our last pokemon and we both lost all of our HP because all effects happen before the end of the battle. (Like the attack boost from Metal Claw) I meant on shoddy, these are custom rules. Fissue, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold.

Recoil moves always favor the user. So if I had 10% HP left and you had 100% HP left, and my Infernape's Flare Blitz KO'd you, I would win. The recoil is not taken into account, since technically your Pokemon faints before mine (you take damage, faint, THEN I take damage). Life Orb works in the same way. If I had 5% left and you had 5% left, and I used an attack that was boosted by Life Orb, I would win. Wobbuffet is uber for a good reason. Although it should be noted that NOT all legendaries are uber. Many are balanced, for example Celebi, Jirachi, Azelf, Uxie, Mespirit, all 4 Regi-golems, all 3 Legendary Birds and all 3 Legendary Beasts, as well as Heatran, Shaymin (normal form), and a few others. Uber status is determined based on usage and impact on the OU metagame, not in-game status, thus you find Pokemon such as Garchomp and Wobbuffet and (formerly) Manaphy in Ubers.

I never liked metals. Steels are the second slowest slayer task (before Miths, but those are assigned in such small numbers I might as well do them) and they never give me anything good :(

My theory was, though, assuming attack, defense, and ranged levels have no difference in weighting, that the 25% drain of Leech Defense would be what really makes the difference between Eagle Eye/Superhuman Strength and Curses. Because, if you think about it, there are two ways to be more accurate. Increase your own attack/ranged, or decrease your opponent's defense.

You mean steel DRAGONS, you said steel titans in your post :P The best way to kill them is to skip the task :) or better yet, block it. But if you are adamant on doing it, the best method is Leaf-Bladed Sword.

Just stock a few more sappy lanterns. It's easy to get back there with a 5 minute grave. How did you die? Technicalities?

Pray switching is fairly easy. When you see that you've taken damage, identify which combat style it is and pray against it. It's not like Jad where you CAN'T get hit. In fact, you probably WILL get hit at least once between when it switches combat styles. During the TDs fight (but NOT the Balance Elemental fight), all your combat stats are boosted to 225 (except prayer, maybe, if I remember correct). You should have no problem destroying the TDs. It's quite honestly a joke of a fight.

Spiders are better. They're tested higher xp/hr, but only if your defense is high enough (I'd say ~70). Otherwise, you're getting hit too much to make spiders better than flesh crawlers. Flesh crawlers have drops too. They aren't great in f2p, but whatever, you might get the occasional diamond and you get thousands of body runes.

I always have believed that the TDs ranged attack was the most accurate and deadly. I'd pray range, but if neither is using range, pray melee. Or, if you can block meleers off, pray mage. If you mean against the balance elemental, pray whatever it is using at the time.

True, but I'm not really convinced it's worth 45m (wrong in the thread). Perhaps when the price falls again. And I mean more like, which leech curses?

Waterfiends are pretty afk'able if your defenses are good enough (which they are). Bunyip @ Ancient Cavern. But AZs and Dagannoths are much better.

Dragonhide/Karils or Void is your best bet. I don't remember the boss being TOO hard (you can get back in less than 5 mins anyway provided you have a spare lantern in your bank) and the two TDs were a joke.

It's always has been SoS Spiders. Hasn't changed much at all.
